But then of course, in terms of mysteriousness and the sense of regality, Ye Xuan’s Obscurus was much nobler than the Lord of the Ancient Nether’s beast. This meant that the Lord of Darkness’s potential was also much higher.

While the Lord of the Ancient Nether was summoning his beast, the Divine Feather Emperor leapt from the roof of her carriage and flew into the sky.

Her beast, the Wings of Judgement, blinked from its location and reappeared behind her.

The sword headed straight for the Lord of the Ancient Nether as if a divine judgement was smiting away the evil.

The power from the Divine Feather Emperor’s attack was so terrifying that a vacuum formed in the space between her and the Lord of the Ancient Nether.

At the lord’s side, Ming Yu’s expression changed as he felt the terrifying force of this attack. He immediately ducked out of the way.

Even the slightest ripple of combat from two emperor-level beast tamers was enough to absolutely demolish him.

He was extremely agitated that Ye Xuan had disappeared, but there was nothing he could do.

In the areas they battled, the two colors clashed and produced ripples that disturbed the natural energy of that area.

With such great disturbance from their battle, even Ming Yu could not open up a space tunnel. His speed and mobility were drastically decreased. Escape was not an option. He could only summon his beast to retaliate against the Divine Feather Emperor’s handmaids.

Ming Yu was stronger than any of the two handmaids by himself.

However, he had to deal with both of them at once and the ancient phoenix as well. He quickly fell into a disadvantage.

In just a short matter of time, things were looking dire for Ming Yu.

On the other side, things were not looking so good for the Lord of the Ancient Nether either.

His cultivation was only mid emperor-level compared to the Divine Feather Emperor’s high emperor-level.

It probably would not take the emperor long before she reaches the peak emperor-level.

“Tian Yu!” the Lord of the Ancient Nether yelled out the Divine Feather Emperor’s name. “If you kill me today, the others would definitely target you for it. Our two empires share a common border. Why not coalesce our strength and forge an alliance to defeat common foes?”

“An alliance?” the Divine Feather Emperor smirked. She was not intrigued by the proposal.

The Lord of the Ancient Nether was too weak in her eyes.

Of the thirteen emperor-level forces in the Tianyuan Star Zone, the Lord of the Ancient Nether’s power ranked among the last.

Even if she was to forge an alliance, she would not choose the Lord of the Ancient Nether.

And as for the possibility of others turning on her after she takes out the Lord of the Ancient Nether, she already had a solution for the scenario.

In her palm, the potent energy from the Might of Light swirled. The blow was going to be the divine judgement ending the Lord of the Ancient Nether’s life.

“It’s all over,” Ming Yu whispered.

Faraway, sensing the weakness of the Lord of the Ancient Nether, the equally injured Ming Yu let out a sigh and let his heart sank.

Just as the Divine Feather Emperor’s palm was about to land on the injured Lord of the Ancient Nether and end his life, the space around her shook as six identical disk-like creatures appeared.

The six creatures had a strange pattern on them that unleashed a terrifying aura. They bent the linear space and created a huge void vortex that enveloped the Divine Feather Emperor and the Lord of the Ancient Nether.
