《Cloud 69》18:

A/N: I just want to take quick moment to say that ya'll are insane. I went to bed after publishing chapter 17 and I wanna say there were like 150ish reads and you all really took it to over 1.5K.
As some of you know, I had previously published Cloud 69 in the past and it's been almost two years since I decided to take it down. For the longest time, I was conflicted about whether or not to put it back up. Like two weeks ago, I realized I didn't really care and was just going to upload it and see what happens.
Thank you guys so much for supporting the story once again, and for all the newcomers, welcome, I hope you're all enjoying the story as well. Please keep leaving comments, ya'll are a bunch of comedians.
Anyways, that's it from me lol.

"Are you ready yet, Mads?" Carson asked from behind me as he zipped up my dress.
"Maybe," I said, putting my hands on cheeks to cool them down.
Carson laughed, "Do you need help?"
I was really thinking about rolling my eyes, getting all defensive, and saying no, but my right leg was still shaking and I'm pretty sure I have a bruise on my ass from trying to stand up the first time.
Alright, alright, I really don't need any of you to make a snarky remark about how Carson kept his promise to make me unable to walk. We get it. It happened. Moving on!
Carson hopped off the bed and came around in front of me. He stretched out his hands for me to take.
Thankfully, with Carson's help, I was able to stand without falling over.
"Alright, let's go say our goodbyes. I've had enough of this party," Carson grumbled, as we headed to the elevator.
"Enough? I think we were only down there for like 30 minutes total," I said.
"Do you want to stay longer?" He suggested in a sarcastic tone.
"No, but you don't have to complain about everything."
"Oh, that's rich coming from you."
"And what exactly does that mean?"
He shook his head and shrugged, but he still had the evil smile on his face, "Nothing."

We silently walked into the elevator together, his hand holding onto my wrist.
"You're so annoying," I said, rolling my eyes as we waited for the elevator.
"You find me endearing."
I laughed. "No I don't," I laughed as I followed him into the elevator. I turned sharply to face the doors, watching them close and reflecting my image back at me. Carson's too. I scowled, "I find you absolutely repulsive."
Carson stalked up, finding spot right behind me, staring at my face in the elevator's reflection. I could feel his breath hitting the back of my neck. He dipped his head down, his lips hovering over my ear.
"Then why'd you just have sex with me?" He whispered in a sharp tone.
I took a sharp inhale as one of his hands came to rest on my hip, the other reaching past me to hit the ground-level button. He rubbed up and down my side in small, gentle strokes. Thinking he was all sly, Carson let his hand drop to my butt.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Nothing," He responded without looking at me.
Not a moment later, Carson slapped my bottom, hard.
"What the hell?"
"What?" He smirked, pretending to be innocent.
He moved in closer to me, leaning into my neck. I backed up into the doors of the elevator, knowing full well that when the doors opened, I would fall out.
"Carson," I groaned.
"Yes, Princess?" He asked, as he kissed up my neck. He made it so hard to stand my ground. God, why does this elevator ride have to be so long?
Before I could regret it, I reached over and pressed the emergency stop button.
"Madeline, what are you doing?" Carson said smugly.
"Just shut up."
I grabbed his face, pushing myself into him. I sighed, leaning my head back as his lips roamed over my jaw and my neck.
"I thought you found me repulsive," He said against my skin.
I replied, pushing him away from my chest, to kiss his lips once again. "I do."

"I actually had a great time at that thing for a change," Carson smiled, as he drove onto the highway.

"Good time? At one of those things? Never," I replied.
"You didn't have fun tonight?"
"No."
"Hm, Princess, are you aware that you are a horrible liar?" Carson laughed, placing a hand on my thigh.
I chose not to respond, but rather change the topic. "I need to change."
"Okay, my hoodie's in the back. I don't need you flashing everyone on the freeway."
I rolled my eyes, but took up his offer and grabbed his hoodie from the back seat.
"How far are we from Jason's?"
Carson shrugged, "Maybe like ten minutes."
I finished taking my dress off and slipped on more casual clothes.
"No, keep it on," Carson spoke up as I moved to take off his hoodie. "So it smells like girl."
"You're gross," I said throwing his hoodie at him.
"Hey! I'm driving!"
We slowed down to a stop. I looked up, noticing the streetlight had changed. And of course, Carson being as predictable as he is, turned to me deviously.
"Maddie, we're at a red light. You know what that means?" His lips were curling up into a smirk.
I flicked his forehead, "In your dreams."

"Madeline, stop obsessing over your hair! Let's go!" Carson shouted impatiently.
I groaned, but stepped out of the car, and took his hand. As we walked toward Jason's house, I flattened out my dress.
"You always wear pink," Carson stated.
"What can I say? It's my color."
"Can't argue with that."
We entered Jason's house and started the search for our friends. Carson and I split up; he headed into the kitchen and I went to the living room.
I caught a glimpse of Luna and Zach, and made my way over to them. They were sitting on a couch, along with Jason and Dylan.
"Maddie!" Luna cheered, hopping off Zach's lap to hug me.
"Hey, how was it?" Jason asked.
I rolled my eyes, "Awful."
"And Carson?" Luna asked. "Did you manage to make it through the night without causing fires?"
I scratched the back of my neck, "We... managed. Somehow I was able to shut my mouth and just... deal with him."
"Oh?"
I nodded my head, "Yes. I even surprised myself with how kind I was to Carson tonight."
"Where is Carson anyway?" Jason asked.
I shrugged, and right on cue, Carson entered the room, a drink in each hand.
"Right here," Carson smirked.
He said his hellos to everyone before coming over to me, and handing me one of the drinks. He lifted me up from my spot on the couch, and placed me onto his lap. He rested on hand on my back, and the other on my inner thigh.
You see, this would have been fine. I would not have minded this, if all of our friends weren't here. Currently staring at us, dumbstruck.
"He had a lot of champagne tonight," I lied. "He hardly knows what he's doing."
"Huh," Dylan looked uncomfortable. "Maybe he should stop drinking then."
"Well, you know what they say."
"What do they say, Jason?" I asked, not sure if I wanted the answer.
"Drunk words are sober thoughts," He finished.
"God, don't even start," Dylan grumbled.
"You know, he may be onto something," Zach said.
"It makes sense," Luna added.
"I'm right here, you know?" Carson said.
"Nothing you won't forget about by tomorrow."
The conversation seemed to end there, thankfully. Jason snuck upstairs with some random guy. Luna and Zach were completely caught up in their conversation, and had seemed to forget that anyone else was around. Dylan headed into the kitchen to grab another drink.
I turned to Carson, running my thumb down his jawline.
"I am a horrible influence on you, Princess. Lying to your own friends," He shook his head and clicked his tongue.
"Oh, shut up," I laughed. "Let's have some fun." I started to lean in closer to Carson.
"Fun?" He smirked. He used his finger to lift my chin up. "With Luna and Zach sitting right there?"
I turned to look at Luna and Zach again. They were in their own world. They wouldn't notice if Oprah Winfrey walked through the door.
I turned back to Carson and shrugged, "Your call."
Carson smiled deviously and shook his head, "All for you."
He pulled me down and threw his lips onto mine.
