《Grandpa Sweet Fist》V3P8- A Fortuitous Encounter

From where he was, Sweet Fist guessed the monster was about four meters long, and its height was above two meters. The lower body of the monster was like a spider, with eight limbs that allowed it to walk. The limbs were extended from the monster’s long torso that was covered by red scales that shone in the sunlight. The monster’s upper body was covered the same red scales that it had on its torso, though Sweet Fist could see streaks of green along the scales. The head of the monster was sharp like that of a bird. The monster has a pair of eyes wide on either side of its head and a pair of mandibles near its mouth. Instead of hands, it had a pair of sharp claws that looked like the pincers of a crab. Overall, it looked frightening, but Sweet Fist felt a strange sense of delight. He felt it when he first saw the monster in the Gap, but this close to the monster, he felt a connection. He was wondering about that when the task appeared.
New side task available for host, Victor Volkov. A Gap had appeared. Monsters threaten the Host’s city, but the mindless monsters do not know Mount Tai. Host, destroy at least eight monsters and teach them the error of attacking the home of the mighty Sweet Fist!
Sweet Fist’s eyebrow raised at the mention of Mount Tai again. He never did ask Reunion what that meant.
“It saw us.”
Six-shot Samurai’s words knocked Sweet Fist out of his musing. He looked over at the monster and realized that she was right. The monster was staring at the three of them. For a moment, neither party moved. Then the monster raised its head and a loud screech echoed through the air. Sweet Fist soon heard other screeches responding to the screech of the monster. It looked like the monsters moved in groups.

Six-shot Samurai quickly jumped on top of the police cruiser, while Sweet Fist activated one of his cultivation techniques, The Iron Body, and stepped in front of the vehicle. They did not have to wait long. From an alley across the street, Sweet Fist heard the rumbling of running feet. He pointed out the area to Six-shot Samurai.
When the group of monsters appeared, the Samurai fired. A red light streaked toward a monster. The monsters were more than three hundred meters away, but that distance was nothing to the Six-shot Samurai. It was a head shot, but the monster, incredibly, moved its head to the side at the last second and only suffered a glancing wound to its face. Six-shot Samurai fired again. This time she took chances. Two shots hit the monster in the body, and it dropped. It tried to get up, but its struggle was suddenly stopped when a burst of fire erupted from its body. The monster screamed as it was burnt from the inside. It was Samurai’s Fire Bullets, one of the six special bullets she possessed.
The rest of the monsters charged but showing animal cunning, they spread out across the width of the street. Sweet Fist heard three quick shots and another monster dropped. Six-shot Samurai holstered her gun and Sweet Fist began a silent count. At five, the Samurai fired again, and Sweet Fist frowned. That took too long. In her prime, it would take only a second or two for Six-shot Samurai’s magical gun to reload. She was out of practice.
However, Sweet Fist had no time for the Samurai right now. The monsters were only fifty metres away.
“Leopard, cover the Samurai.”
Not caring if Night Leopard heard his command, Sweet Fist called up his Bark Armor and pushed his qi to his feet. He used The Bear’s Charge and rushed towards the nearest monster. Using the momentum of the charge, Sweet Fist threw a punch and blew a hole in the torso of a monster. The other monsters stopped, as if they couldn’t believe the power of the punch. Then, they screeched and charged towards the Sweet Fist. Sweet Fist smiled. He needed to kill ten of these monsters for the task.

The sounds of gunfire erupted again, and two more monster dropped dead. Sweet Fist wanted to groan as some of the monsters turned and charged in the direction of Samurai and Leopard. The helpful duo was taking his kills!
He took a moment to glance at them. Samurai was still on the cruiser firing away with her gun while Night Leopard took a position in front of the vehicle and was shooting bolts of electricity at the approaching monsters with her bracelets. The bolts weren’t kill-shots, but they momentarily stun the monsters in place, making them easy targets for Samurai. Then, the monsters were on him.
The first monster that reached him shot a sticky web at him. However, Sweet Fist was expecting this. Monsters with body parts of spiders should have abilities like spiders. Sweet Fist raised his hand to block the web and then used it to pull the monster closer. The monster was caught by surprise and flew towards the villain. Sweet Fist caved the monster’s skull with a single blow. The other monsters saw this and abandoned all thoughts of using their webs. They rushed towards him, seeking to overwhelm him with numbers. However, not for the first time, the Sweet Fist caught them by surprise.
With Iron Body and Bark Armor, Sweet Fist was confident about his defense, and he was never a martial artist that jumped and dodged. So, he bought the fight to the monsters. Sweet Fist used Bear Charge and sprinted towards a monster. Showing once more that it wasn’t some mere animal, the monster raised a pincer and successfully blocked Sweet Fist’s punch. However, Sweet Fist’s attack was not over. He immediately pointed at the monster with his other hand and a laser pierced through the monster’s body. It dropped dead as the other monsters attacked, trying to grab, and crushed Sweet Fist with their pincers. One of the monsters managed to grab Sweet Fist, but his Iron Body and Bark Armor held on long enough for Sweet Fist to blast the monster to pieces with a punch. In the end, that made the difference. Sweet Fist’s punch was too powerful, and the monster had no answer to it. In under a minute, all the monsters around Sweet Fist were dead. Sweet Fist looked over and saw that Night Leopard and Six-shot Samurai had managed to kill all their monsters as well. Sweet Fist made a quick count and realized he needed to kill four more monsters to complete his task. Then, something caught his eye.
