Willow sighed as she was yet again lying on the bed, all alone with her head going over various possibilities of what could have happened. She felt all kinds of emotions rile up, what if what Hunter said was true? No, she shouldn't mind his words, she shouldn't let anyone come in between her and Rowan, unless they were truly not meant to be together.

As she was going over the possibilities, she heard a knock on her door. When she answered for the person to come in, Felix' head popped in.

"Hey," Felix smiled. "I heard that you woke up."

Willow nodded as she sat up. "I was waiting for you."

When Felix saw her expression, he understood what she meant to say. "I'm guessing that you already know."

Willow was about to nod, but then she shook her head. "I don't, at least not completely."

Felix sighed as she sat on the chair beside Willow's bed. "Well, there's not much to know. Rowan's missing, and no one is able to find him. Can you imagine throwing a birthday party for someone but the birthday boy himself doesn't attend? The palace is in chaos, and it wouldn't be long before everyone finds out that the crown prince is missing."

Willow stared at her hands feeling restless. "Is there no way to look for him?"

"Actually that's why I came here."

Willow's head snapped up when she heard that.

"I heard from Melody that you are the goddess's granddaughter and also that Hunter is no more your mate. So it might be easier for you to find him?"

"Me?" Willow blinked, confused, but she was wills to do everything to find Rowan, whether he is her mate of not, she would find him.

"Yes, you. Since you aren't only a human, you would be able to find him with ease, but-"

"But?"

"But it would only be possible if you truly are soulmates."

"Oh." Willow grew dejected again, but then she thought that she had previously said that she would find him no matter what, and that is what she would do. "I'll do it, even if he isn't my mate, I'll still help you." Willow smiled resolutely, before it fell of her face. "But Georgia said that I'm not allowed to leave the hospital for at least a week."

Felix grinned. "I'll take care of that."

When Felix said that, Willow thought that he would talk Georgia out, but five minutes later she was sitting on a wheelchair being rolled out by Felix, with a long coat over her hospital gown and a pair of sunglasses on her face and scarf covering her bright hair. She didn't know if she should be laughing of crying.

Thankfully they walked past the nurses and past the pack doctors and other patients, unnoticed. Felix helped her to his car and sat on the drivers side.

"Okay," said Felix. "What now?"

Willow frowned. "I thought you had it all planned."

"I just said that it would be easier to look for him if you helped." Felix defended himself. "Even though I've known Rowan my whole life and I would be able to find him quicker than others, but when he's deliberately hiding then it is impossible for me too, to find him."

Willow scowled at Felix who was putting it all on her now. How would she be able to find without a single clue? "But do you have any idea where he might be?"

"No." Felix shook his head.

Willow's scowl grew deeper. "Do you know if he is still in Onyxscar?"

Felix remained silent, but the way he avoided her eyes told her the answer.

"You must be kidding me." Willow muttered. "Have you checked all the places he usually visits?"

"Of course, I was the one who suggested that." Felix shamelessly took all the credit.

Willow slumped in her seat. She couldn't believe that she was going to be looking for a person without having any leads of where to look for.

Willow was quiet as she thought of all the places that Rowan could be at, but she came up with nothing. Or could it be that Rowan was kidnapped? Since everyone thought that Rowan was invincible and could not be harmed, so they never thought of this possibility.

"What if Rowan was kidnapped?" Willow voiced her thoughts.

"Impossible." Felix dismissed the idea. "Rowan just can't be kidnapped. Someone hurting him might be a possibility with a probability of a percent, but kidnapped? Never."

Willow sighed, but then she perked up when she thought of another plan. Even though she wasn't sure of it, but it's either doing something or simply sitting here with her thought running rampant.

"Hey Felix,"said Willow.

"Yeah?"

"Can check out some information for me?"

Felix raised his brow. "Really? Now?"

"I want the information to everyone who had rented or bought an apartment in the past month, here in Onyxscar."

When Willow was being showed the future possibility, by the Goddess, she had noticed something else, but she hadn't thought much of it.

Originally it was Willow who had came up with the plan of renting out rooms in their house, but since the Willow there was already dead, Rowan and Felix never moved into their house. They had instead rented out an apartment, but Willow didn't know where it was situated at since she didn't look carefully. She didn't really think it to be necessary.

Onyxscar certainly wasn't a huge town, but it wasn't a small one either, it took half an hour for Felix to find the information, who had seemed help from his friend. There were around fifty people who had bought or rented an apartment. They crossed out forty of them, the ones which had been inhabited by a family or a female, which left them with nine apartments where single bachelors lived.

None of the inhabitants were named Rowan, but if he was trying to be inconspicuous then of course he would avoid leaving his name everywhere. Ellis Hugo was the first name on the list, Felix drove to his address in twenty minutes. When Willow stepped out of the car she didn't feel that Rowan would be here, but she still didn't want to regret later so she went ahead.

Willow walked into the building with Felix, only to receive weird glances from the surrounding people. Willow felt her cheeks burn and she wondered if something was wrong with her, but she brushed it off, her main mission was to look for Rowan. When she stepped in the elevator, she too wanted to stare weirdly at herself, her outfit was indeed to eye catching. She couldn't believe that she had almost let Rowan look at her in this get up.

Willow quickly removed her jacket and shoved it at Felix. "Thank you." Even though she was in a haste, she would never forget her morals. Her hospital gown was the most basic one, she had expected a werewolf hospital to have a different gown, say black or grey in color, but sadly, it was the white and blue one. She removed the scarf from her head and wrapped it around her narrow waist, using it as a makeshift belt. Willow stared at her hair, shocked that it could even be this messy. She removed it from her messy bun, which was actually messy and ran her fingers through it, nesting it up and then tied her hair in a ponytail.

Felix on the side, stared dazed at the transformation of Willow who had previously looked like a hobo. "Woah, I was wondering how I should tell you to neaten yourself ."

Willow narrowed her eyes at Felix. "I'll be remembering this."

The lift dinged just in time, Willow sadly looked at her fuzzy unicorn slippers, she would either have to walk barefoot or walk with her beloved fuzzy unicorn slippers which didn't go at all with her outfit.

Feeling dejected Willow walked out with Felix beside her, the knocked on the door to the apartment hoping to find Rowan, but to their dismay, there was not a shadow of Rowan in there.

After that every apartment they visited ended up being the same, no Rowan inside it.

As they were heading towards the seventh apartment, Willow felt that they were simply wasting their time, since this was a bad idea. But she at that same time she didn't want to give up, though her back was hurting a lot after being in a vegetative state for a whole month would surely take toll on anyone's body.

Willow stepped out of the car for the n'th time today and suddenly, she froze. She could feel something different about the atmosphere here, something that felt like home, something that felt like Rowan.

Willow sprinted towards the elevator, ignoring Felix who yelled at her to stop. Seeing that both the elevators were taken, she ran towards the stairs and climbed up them, first, second, third-she ran past the floors, even though on a normal basis it wouldn't take very long for her to climb up to the sixth floor, but at the moment she felt like she was climbing thousand steps. By the time she got to the fourth floor she was already on the verge of falling, when she got to the sixth floor she was already crawling.

Willow clutched the door and exhaled loudly, her face red from perspiration, her limbs numb, her hair which had been neat five minutes ago were back to square one. Forcing her legs to walk, Willow finally reached in front of the room number 6011. She knocked softly.

The door opened, after what felt like ages, Willow shut her eyes tightly before opening them. When she saw the man before her, she inhaled sharply, her eyes locked on his bare collar, where a tiny star rested. Almost reflexively she said, "Mate."

Then Willow collapsed.
