He let out a sigh of relief when he saw who it was outside his door, opening the door, there stood Hank. “Hey Ferdinand, I wanted to talk about…” Hank trailed of as he laid eyes on the person in Ferdinand’s apartment. Ferdinand noticing this followed his look and saw who he was looking at, “right erhm Hank meet Tim, Tim meet Hank”.
Timothy gave Hank a wave, to which Hank responded to with a nod before looking to Ferdinand with a look that said ‘explain’.
Ferdinand led Hank to another room so Timothy could not hear their conversation, “I thought you lived alone?” was the first question to leave Hank’s mouth once he was sure they were out of earshot. “I do, he is an old friend who is just staying here temporarily. Besides I might work for your company but that is where our relations end”. Ferdinand’s words reminded Hank about what had happened between both of them.
“That is why I came here, I know I’m hard to get along with, always have. After… After what happened when I was away, I know I sometimes go overboard.” With those words Hank remembered the looks on the faces of those around him every time he lost control, images of all those times flashed through his head before a voice was heard in his head, “when fighting against monster careful lest you become one yourself, famous words, but I never agreed with them for you see only a greater monster can deal with monsters”
Hank got rid of those thoughts as he returned to the present, “look what I am trying to say is I’m sorry. You were right I went overboard; he was just a kid; he didn’t deserve what I did. I can’t do this without you, so what do you say, partners?” Hank offered his hand to Ferdinand.

Ferdinand looked to his outstretched hand before his face which was filled with sincerity, then back to hand, proceeding to take the outstretched hand into his own. “Partners but I’ll say this now, if what happened the last time happens again, I’m leaving and no more secrets.” Hank looked to Ferdinand with confusion in his eyes when he heard Ferdinand’s last request.
“Don’t look at me like that. You told people you had amnesia and was stuck in Tibet. Dude you were a cloak and throw knives at people, there is no way you learnt that being stuck in some monastery and the kicker of it all, your vigilante persona was active in this city a whole year before you were confirmed to be alive. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that your story is just that, a story and like I said no more lines”
“Fine, but I think you should go first” “what?” Ferdinand quirked a brow at Hank’s statement.
“The guy in the other room, why is he here? Before you say the lie that you have formed up in your head, I’d like to remind you I’m not like normal people and notice a lot of things other people don’t which is why it is not hard for me to make the connection that he is the owner of that Audi downstairs. Piece of advice if you are hiding from someone you should not park the car they attacked where you are hiding.”
“Right car, I forgot about that” with those words Ferdinand began to tell Hank everything.
“Hey, I was beginning to think you guys were going to take forever” Tim spoke up seeing Hank and Ferdinand coming out. They both flashed him a smile before Hank turned to Ferdinand, “alright I have to go but I will talk to you later. It was nice meeting you Tim” Hank said his goodbyes before heading out.

Waiting for him to go, Tim turned to Ferdinand “damn Takyi, so when were you going to tell me you were friends with a billionaire. Wait do you think he would buy you a car if you asked because as we all know I’m kind off in need of a new ride.” “Speaking of cars, we need to get rid of yours out of here now”
“You’re kicking me out?!” Tim asked eyes wide as he made it to his feet, pinching the bridge of his nose Ferdinand let out a sigh. “No, you idiot, there are assassins out there looking for you. Sure, we got rid of the tracker, but your car in its current state it not exactly the embodiment of the word inconspicuous. We’ve got to get rid of it”
“But that is my baby” “what is more important the car or your life?” Ferdinand’s question caused Tim to think seriously about the question which in turn caused Ferdinand to look at him with a look of pure disbelief, “what?! I’m thinking” Tim spoke noticing the look on his friends face but his words just worsened the situation. “This is not something you need to think about! The answer is your life! It will always be your life!”
Meanwhile;
Hank in his full gear had arrived at the location where Ferdinand told him they had hidden the cannisters, aiming for the stealthier approach. He used his grappling hook to pull himself to the top of the building and began to make his way into the building but was brought to a halt when he heard sounds indicating there were people in the building.
