《Super Sekken (An Action Shonen Story)》Super Sekken, Ch. 12: The Power of 'Slippy the Untouchable'

Miyuki looked at him with a doubtful look in her eye. How could she even dream of standing up to such power, it's like she was in a completely different world! "I-it's unfair! I can't!"
"Oh? Life is unfair, buttercup. Not everyone gets Ki, but I did! Whether you do or not, you aren't escaping me! Stronzo spared you from getting torched under my request. I wanted to give you a chance to be of use to us instead of wasting your potential, just like I did Billy. I didn't expect you to be such an anti-social coward though, so face me! I'm gonna knock that cowardice out of you!"
Miyuki was in such awe that she was trembling from the overwhelming power and light this guy had. No wonder why he's called 'Light Guy'! Miyuki stood up on her feet, thinking back to her fight with Seijo. Seijo started out pretty quick, but his moves were predictable even for a not-trained fighter like her. "K-Ki? What?"
"You know, what I can do here" He'd raise his hand up, then throw it down towards the ground. Suddenly the bright violet light grew more intense, the light coming from an electrically charged ball that then collided with the teen's back.
"GAAAAGH! MY BACK!" Miyuki cried, her entire body getting a high voltage electric shock directly onto her spine. Her legs would begin to feel wobbly, then giving out and collapsing onto the ground. Miyuki couldn't feel her legs... "W-what the... my legs!"
"You can move them, get up. I ain't gonna kill you." Light Guy then raised his hand back, the ball leaving. The electric effects on Miyuki's body would disappear, the teen regaining her feeling in her legs. "If I wanted to kill you broski, I'd use my bare hands. These balls only stun you."
Miyuki would stare at Light Guy, thinking about the demonstration. ("So, Superpowers DO exist? I thought that was only something you saw on TV! He has one, I don't... and I know someone else who did... that was why I couldn't move towards those monsters. They had some 'superpower'... can just anyone get one?") Miyuki wondered, then stood up when she regained the feeling in her legs. "All right... fine..." Miyuki clenched her fists, waiting for Light Guy's next move. "... this school is a deception to all of the normal students who come here for peace and friendship. The connections you guys build are done in the name of hosting fight clubs, terror, and corrupted trades. I'll tear down all of you with my bare hands... if that means I can have a normal school year!"
"Ayyyo! That's my girl, you're talking big now! I like it, I like it! Heheh. What you say ain't fair though. All of us ain't stealing from people, most of us join I-35 for these hangouts you see because it's the only time of our lives we can act our age and be us. Some join for profits, some join so they can get away with doing the shittiest things, but I know I joined because I felt value here. I made friends, went on adventures I never thought I would be able to do, and the ladies love me! People don't look at me as the 'stereotypical nerdy kid who skips grades and will become an engineer when he grows up'. I'm one of the gang, found my love for breakdancing, now I'm the king of the gym! Even that weakling Seijo won't hold a candle to my moves. I admit though, I don't fight often, so I dunno if being able to breakdance will make this fight any more favorable for me."

"You're talking bullshit! You have the fight so favorable for you that you could probably beat me with a single finger!"
"Really? You think that?" Light Guy smirked, then just raised a single finger. "Let's test that theory then!" Itoh then ran towards Miyuki, thrusting the single finger in a flurry of strikes towards Miyuki's diaphragm. "If you gonna whine about my superiority, then I'm gonna beat you in the most embarrassing way possible!"
("Good.") Miyuki thought. She was surprised that he actually went to try it, but this would test her theory about what happened with Seijo. ("I am the 'untouchable slippy' huh?") Miyuki would say while she slowly walked backwards from the barrage of strikes. She didn't need to dodge when she could be out of his reach.
"You can't walk backwards forever!" Light Guy exclaimed, continuing to back Miyuki towards the wall and continuing his flurry of strikes. "Ki has made me superior to the world's strongest man! Faster than even the greatest Olympic Runners! More precise than a brain surgeon! The Boss' gift to me has made me the peak of humanity!"
Miyuki looked behind her for a moment, seeing the wall she was walking into. ("Crap, he's gonna get a clear hit on me if I don't think quick enough!"). Miyuki put her back towards the wall, then right as her back made contact with the wall, she ducked down and to the left. She did this in an effort to predict Light Guy's movements because she knew for a fact that dodging him accurately would be impossible. There was no denying that he was in another league compared to her own speed, so she was just listening to her gut's instinct and following through with it. Right enough, Itoh had gone for a full power finger jab for Miyuki's gut, but thanks to her prediction, he ended up stabbing his finger into the solid brick wall instead.
"AAHHHH FUCKING-!" Itoh winced, looking at his finger which was broken from how recklessly he threw it. "How did you dodge?! I'm way faster than you!"
"I guess you can't beat me with a finger, then. You gonna fight me?" Miyuki taunted, then jumped backwards and stood straight up. "Fighting really isn't my thing anyway, I prefer fleeing." Miyuki smirked, then ran with all of her might down a hallway.
"Ayyo! You broke my finger! You're gonna pay for that! Get back here you sly dog!" Light Guy's aura grew even brighter as he dashed down the hallway like an Olympic Runner, quickly closing in the distance between him and Miyuki.
"No thanks, I got no money! You can thank The Boss for that!" she taunted, continuing to make that sprint. Miyuki didn't wanna look behind her because she knew that he was easily catching up, but there was no way he would catch her in time if she kept her pace. "There it is!" Miyuki said to herself, sighing with relief as she made her way into the girl's bathroom, shutting herself inside a stall and standing on the toilet.

"Uggghhhh come on, bro! You're such a coward! Fight me like a man!" Light Guy whined, crossing his arms and standing outside the bathroom. No way was he going to go inside the lady's room! He has priorities, you know? Besides, they can't hide from him forever.
"That's sexist!" Miyuki called out
"W-what?! N-no it's not!" Light Guy said, suddenly feeling embarrassed as he accidentally realized that, but still denied it just to deny it.
"Yeah it is!"
"No it ain't!"
"Yeah it is!"
"Nooo it ain't!"
"Yeah it is!"
"Nuuh uuuh!"
"Yuuuh huuuuh!"
"Nuh uh, it ain't!"
"Yuh huh, it is!"
"Okay, now you're just mocking me!"
"Okay, now I'm just mocking you!"
Light Guy just stood there, now boiling with impatience. "You gonna stay in there much longer?! Or are you just gonna stand there and make fun of me!?"
"If you wanna fight me, then come in here, coward!" Miyuki called out.
"Good point." Light Guy would say, raising his hand upwards. An energy ball would come into his hand, then a second one would enter the other hand. "I'm comin' right in there! Just you wait!" Itoh then closed his eyes, then ran straight inside of the girl's bathroom. ("This is so embarrassiiiing, come on broski, why did you have to choose the ladies room?") Light Guy thought.
Miyuki exited the stall, standing in front of Light Guy from a few feet away. "Alright I wasn't actually expecting you to do it, but cool... now I guess we will fight. You win? I'll tell you about that necklace" Miyuki stood there, waiting. She had no idea what the necklace was, but she pushed herself to lie so he would be provoked. It seemed to her that this wasn't just any ordinary necklace... what made it so above average?
Paying attention to his hearing, he estimated where Miyuki was and swung a fist which had a blindingly bright electric ball in it. Instead of hitting Miyuki though, it hit one of the bathroom stalls and cracked the plastic. Miyuki was continuing to walk backwards, trying to get out of Light Guy's range while he kept swinging rapid and careless blows. "I'll catch you, pumpkin! I ain't needing to look to find you, I'll just clear this entire bathroom until I get'cha!" Light Guy exclaimed, swinging a punch after another in random and blind spots. The sounds of his own attacks hitting the plastic stalls and the tile walls deafened the sounds of Miyuki's movements, making it easier for her to evade his predictable and unintelligent attack pattern."Let me hit you, just once!" he continued swinging. A few of the bathroom stalls now had holes in them and one of the sinks had a chunk of the marble broken off.
And then... Light Guy's eyes opened. He opened his eyes... and felt a sudden tense pain in his diaphragm, it was Miyuki's fist. "H-how did you-" Itoh winced, having the wind knocked out of him, and his body beginning to lose the glow his ki granted.
Miyuki pulled her fist out from his diaphragm, then using both hands to push him straight into the sink he broke a moment ago, the marble sink falling, shattering, and the water faucet spilling all over him. Miyuki looked at the fist that she used to hit his diaphragm, then looked back at the now knocked-out Itoh. Clenching her fist, she spoke quietly to herself: "You may have a superpower, but you don't know how to use it. What good is overwhelming power when you can't accurately hit your target?... you say your power is the peak of humanity without fighting a day in your life... but if that is the case..." Miyuki looked towards the exit of the girl's bathroom. "... I am scared to know what kind of power The Boss has. I need to find that necklace, that will have my answers."

The Girl in the Abyss
Synopsis: The mysterious force known only as "God's Guidance" implemented a game-like system and rebuilt the planet using continents from five different worlds. Join Ellie, a young girl whose soul is filled with an ocean of love and trust. No matter how horrendous the circumstance or dreadful the suffering her kindness manages to shine through, but everyone breaks eventually. Watch as the horrors of reality slowly chip away at a pure soul until nothing but a monster remains and follow her down the path of despair as she finds a reason to live. ‘Our fate is one that always leads to suffering, but you can smile, I’ll shoulder everything else.’ Warning 1: This story covers very mature themes which I have listed here: Torture of a child (The MC is the victim), death, killing, slavery, and light gore. Nothing sexual ever occurs to the main character. Warning 2: This is another apocalyptic LitRPG, has a brokenly OP MC, bad writing, horrible grammar, and garbage sentence flow. It is my first attempt at writing a story since grade school. Inspired by my four favorite stories: Overlord, CLANNAD, The Arcane Emperor, and Tokyo Ghoul. A note by me: This is not a world domination story or an action story. There is fighting but it's not the focus. Another note by me: This is a work in progress. I’ll likely go back and change stuff a lot. The cover art is by a friend who has encouraged me since the start. Releases: Volume two will not be out anytime soon sadly. I apologize for the Hiatus.
