June 2nd; Ministry of San Juan

It’s been two days since the Prom dance…Valerie and Alejandro got their wounds treated by Sister Griselda…Alejandro decided to return to his home as he needed to work…Meanwhile, life in the Ministry…has changed…

The sun is setting…the activities for the day have ended…the children return from school…meanwhile…two girls wearing novice attires…stand in the center of the Ministry…

“Focus…focus…” A girl gathers mana in her hands, the mana shines bright as it takes the shape of a sphere. The sphere stabilizes, the girl smiles; “I did it!”

A shadow appears behind her; “Tickle, tickle…you’re wide open Mariana…”

“Hahaha…stop it…Abril…” Mariana laughs, she loses focus. The mana sphere blows up.

Mariana is a young girl that has white skin, brown hair, and also light brown eyes. Abril is a young girl that has brown skin, black hair and light brown eyes.

Mariana looks at Abril puffing her cheeks; “Abril…why did you do that? I was just stabilizing my mana…”

“Hahaha…sorry…sorry…I had to do that…” Abril chuckles. Suddenly, someone appears behind her. -PPUUMM- She delivers a chop on the head to Abril; “Enough…Abril…you mustn't do that…”

“Ouch…Fabiola…that hurt…” Abril exclaims as she sees Fabiola putting her hands on her hips.

Fabiola is a young girl that has blonde hair and dark blue eyes.

“Listen…we must train our minds to focus…something you lack Abril…”

“Yeah…yeah…but Fabiola…why do we have to train on a Monday…I’m so tired…”

“Focus Abril…look at Estrella…she 's focusing also…” Both of them look at Estrella. Estrella has two mana spheres floating in the air. Abril sighs; “Well…she’s a prodigy…it’s logical that she can do that…”

Estrella has brown skin, white hair and dark blue eyes. She has the ability of a Shadowtamer, which permits her to control the Sombras

Estrella blushes as she feels embarrassed. Fabiola extends her hand; “Look…It’s simple…” Fabiola creates a mana sphere with the size of her hand. Abril looks at her with jealousy; “Show off…” Abril notices someone from afar:

“Oh…it’s Uriel…”

“Whhaatt?” Fabiola loses her focus, the mana sphere blows up. Fabiola falls to the ground, revealing her underwear; “GGYYAAHH!”

“Hahaha…what’s that…we needed to keep focus?” Abril teases her. Mariana and Estrella run to help. Fabiola puffs her cheek looking at Abril; “Why you…”

“Hey…it’s Daniel…” The sister notices both of the brothers walking. Both of them walk on the opposite side. Uriel and Daniel walk past each other without saying a word. They continue to walk without looking at each other.

The sisters look worried. Mariana looks at Daniel; “It’s been 2 days since the incident and both of them haven’t spoken to each other…”

Abril changes her expression to a serious one; “I understand that Uriel screwed up…but don’t you think Daniel is exaggerating?”

“I don’t know…maybe it’s better for us to not interfere…come on…we must keep training…Maria said so herself…”

Estrella looks at Uriel walking to the kitchen with a worried expression; “Uriel…”

As Uriel walks, someone call him from the other hall; “Oh Uriel…would you mind coming with us…there is something we must tell you…”

Uriel turns around and sees Sister Griselda and Father Clemente outside of Sister Carolina’s room.

Sister Carolina’s Room…

During the night that Maria fought Darius Lucifugus…Sister Carolina mysteriously disappeared for a couple of hours…she was found unconscious and has been unconscious since then…Sister Griselda and Father Clemente often check on her status…Uriel also looks at her to see if they can find the cause of what happened…

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

“It’s been more than a month since that night…and Sister Carolina hasn’t opened her eyes…” Sister Griselda looks at Sister Carolina who lies on her bed with her eyes closed. She has an oxygen machine and pulse oximeter. Sister Griselda grabs her hand and looks at her with a worried expression.

Father Clemente walks next to her and grabs her shoulder; “Sister…you must be strong…we know that she is fighting for her life right now…”

Sister Griselda is an older woman wearing a black nun attire, has wrinkled face and white hair. She has normal features, light brown skin and green eyes.

Father Clemente is a 50 year old priest. Despite his age, he is very strong and looks young. He has white hair and a white beard.

Uriel puts his hand on Sister Carolina’s forehead and closes his eyes. A bright golden mana shines as he focuses; “Anima quaerere” (Soul Search)

After a minute, Uriel opens his eyes; “Her soul is still separated from her body…I don’t know what happened on that night…but judging from her reaction…her soul was taken away from her…but she is not completely dead yet…because part of her soul is still attached to her…”

Uriel Di Fiore has blue hair, green eyes and brown skin. He has a scar of three claws in his left eye.

“I see…that’s a relief…so there is still hope…” Father Clemente smiles as he looks at Sister Carolina; “A hardworking young lady must stay in bed for too long…right Carolina?”

“Indeed…she is the most hardworking person I know…even back in Tapatio…she was always so determined and filled with energy…I know that she will open her eyes soon…”

Uriel looks at her thinking; “What happened on that night? What kind of technique did they used?”

(BBBAAADDUUMMPPP)

Suddenly, a strange sensation hits the three of them. Sister Carolina immediately closes the door and puts a special seal; “This sensation…something powerful is here…”

“Indeed…everyone stay on your guard…this is a powerful entity…” Father Clemente looks at Uriel and Griselda. The lights flicker, a small wind current fills the room. At that moment, Sister Carolina opens her eyes and lifts her body. Her eyes are hollow, as if they have no soul.

“Sister…is that you?” Father Clemente tries to touch her, but Uriel stops her; “Wait…something’s wrong…”

Sister Carolina looks at Uriel and smiles; “I finally got to meet you…Charro Negro…or should I say…Horseman of War…”

“This voice..she’s not Carolina…” Sister Griselda summons her lance and points at Carolina:

“Who are you?”

“I am the Ruler of Mictlan…and I am using this body to speak with Uriel Di Fiore…The Horseman of War…”

“The Ruler…of…Mictlan…” The three of them look at Carolina with shock. Sister Carolina chuckles; “Fufufu….now do not be alarmed…I mean no harm…I simply came here to see that young boy’s handsome face…”

Sister Carolina points at Uriel; “Listen…I want you to come to Mictlan…”

“Go to Mictlan…why do you want that? What business do you have with me?”

“I must speak with you in person…there is an important matter that we need to discuss…but it can only be discussed in person…now listen…young successor…your kind is searching for forbidden objects…7 golden keys…that could bring calamity…”

Uriel looks at her with suspicion; “So…she knows about the golden keys…she really is the Ruler of Mictlan…”

“Ruler of Mictlan…how can you use Carolina’s body like that…is Carolina really dead?” Father Clemente asks with fear. Sister Carolina shakes her head:

“Do not worry…she is not dead…in fact, for the Charro Negro to have trust in me…I will return this body’s soul…she was floating in Purgatory for quite some time…but I have her soul…and I will return it after I leave this body…”

Father Clemente and Sister Carolina look relieved. Uriel looks at Sister Carolina; “Very well…if you promise to do that…then I will go…”

“Excellent…now then…Horseman of War…in order to reach Mictlan…the golden key will be your guide…find it…and come Mictlan…I will be waiting for you…”

“Very well…I accept your proposal…” Uriel looks at her with determination. Sister Carolina smiles; “I will await your arrival…my time has concluded…as promised I will return the soul to her body…but before I depart…here is a warning…beware of nature…now then…the soul of your friend…will also be here…goodbye…”

“WAIT…WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOUL OF MY FRIEND…” Uriel extends his hand. Sister Carolina closes her eyes and her head falls to the pillow. Uriel looks at her wondering what the Ruler of Mictlan meant.

After a long time, Sister Carolina opens her eyes and looks at the ceiling; “Where am I?”

Father Clemente with tears in his eyes grabs her hand; “Welcome back…” Sister Griselda smiles upon seeing Carolina awake. Uriel feels relieved; “Do you remember anything?”

“No…I can’t remember…”

“Don’t worry…it’s good to have you back…” Uriel smiles a little.

Sister Griselda and Father Clemente told the rest of the Ministry…the sisters were the first to arrive…then Maria, Valerie and Daniel…

“SSSIIISSTTEERR!!!!WWWAAHHHH!!!” Estrella, Abril and Mariana cry as they hug Sister Carolina. Fabiola tries to act mature but tears fill her eyes also.

“We really missed you…” Maria and Valerie look at her with happiness. Daniel also smiles a little as he looks at Sister Carolina.

“Thank you everyone…it’s a shock for me that I was asleep for more than a month…but don’t worry because tomorrow I will go back to work….”

Everyone chuckles, and Sister Carolina makes a big smile.

“THANK GOD! CAROLINA IS BACK! EVERYONE…LET’S CELEBRATE!” Father Clemente shouts, everyone looks happy.

Uriel receives a text message, he walks outside to the hallway. Valerie notices and follows him:

“Big Brother, did something happen?”

Valerie looks at Uriel who opens his eyes wider; “This can’t be…”

“Big Brother?”

Uriel looks at Valerie; “It’s Alejandro…he….”

From Kasumi:

Uriel…it’s an emergency…Alejandro is dying…come quick…

Located near downtown of Sun City, there was restaurant that was destroyed during the invasion incident…all that remains is rubble…however, there is a secret pathway that leads to an underground base…that is Yggdrasil’s temporary base…in one of the rooms, Alejandro lies on a bed with oxygen machine and a pulse oximeter…

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

“Alejandro…what happened to him? Teacher…please answer me…” Valerie cries as she grabs Alejandro’s hand.

Valerie Di Fiore has a slim figure. She has pale colored skin with blue eyes and light purple colored hair.

Uriel puts his hand on her shoulder; “Calm down Valerie…let’s hear what happened…” Valerie nods with tears in her eyes.

“We were working at the restaurant…when suddenly, he collapsed…and as you can see, the black veins have expanded towards all of his body…” Chelsea explains with a worried expression.

-TCH- “That idiot…why didn’t he tell us that the key was reacting…damn it…” Carlos shakes his head feeling anger.

Carlos Valverde has black hair and blue eyes. Chelsea Lockhart has light blue hair and pinkish eyes.

“I don’t know…but my son is dying…he’s dying…” Rosa cries as she looks at Alejandro.

“Calm down Tia (Aunt), we must stay strong…” Flor hugs her as she tries to calm a devastated Rosa.

Rosa Gutierrez has a robust body and a chubby face. She has white skin and red hair.Flor Gutierrez has brown skin and long brown hair and yellow eyes.

“ALEJANDRO!” Tiwa enters the room. She sees Alejandro on the bed, her face looks preoccupied as she walks towards him:

“Alejandro…”

Valerie notices Tiwa and stands up. Both of them look at eachother with a challenging stare. Tiwa looks angry; “Why are you here?”

“I’m his girlfriend…besides I am also part of the Alliance…”

“No you’re not…” Tiwa and Valerie glare at each other. Suddenly, Kasumi stands between them:

“That’s enough you two…don’t make things worse than they are…”

Kasumi Miyazono has orange hair and as always she has a ponytail with braids. She wears glasses and has orange eyes.

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

Both of them look at Alejandro; “We’re sorry…”

Uriel looks at Alejandro 's arm. His arm is completely covered in black, as a golden figure with the shape of the key shines from the palm of his hand; “It appears, the key reacted to something…something happened to him that depleted his mana completely and caused the key’s mana to emerge…”

-TCH- “If only Shion was here…however, she’s in Japan right now…of all times to be out…” Kasumi looks concerned, she looks at Alejandro breathing heavily.

“Uriel…but what could’ve caused it…” Kasumi approaches Uriel. Uriel analyzes the situation; “It’s hard to say…there could be many variables and causes…but let’s wait until I hear what our guest outside has to say…”

“Guest outside?” Kasumi looks confused. Carlos immediately looks at the monitor and sees a figure standing outside the restaurant:

“Senpai…there’s someone outside…”

Kasumi and Uriel look at the monitor. Kasumi opens her eyes wider; “It can’t be…why is she here?”

“Like I mentioned before…She will explain the situation…”

Everyone is surprised as they see Anastasia Lucifugus outside the restaurant…

Under Uriel’s request and Kasumi’s approval…Anastasia was permitted to enter the secret base…she sits in an empty room, handcuffed to a chair…Uriel and Kasumi interrogate her, while the others observe through the monitors…

“So tell me…Ms. Lucifugus…how did you know we were here?” Kasumi tries to act like a cop, she sits on the table in front of her and crosses her legs. She takes a zip from her coffee.

Uriel sighs with his eyes closed; “Kasumi…what are you doing?” Kasumi acts nervous; “What? I just wanted to act tough…you know like the good cop and bad cop thing…”

“Master Alejandro…told me…” Anastasia responds without any expression. Kasumi sighs; “Alejandro…I will have to punish him when he returns…”

Chelsea chuckles and Carlos shakes his head; “That idiot…when I said that it was a secret…it was supposed to stay like that…”

“Fufufu…that 's Alejandro for ya…” Valerie chuckles.

In the room, Uriel looks at Anastasia; “Anastasia…what happened to Alejandro? Why did his soul travel to Mictlan?”

“Mictlan?” Kasumi and the others look impressed. Uriel shakes his head; “Today…I spoke with the Ruler of Mictlan and she told me…that Alejandro’s soul was traveling there…”

“Wait…you spoke with the ruler? Uriel…you…” Uriel interrupts Kasumi by putting his finger on her lips causing her to blush.

“Sheesh…what the hell is your brother Valerie? Talking to the ruler of the other world?” Carlos and Chelsea look at Valerie. Valerie who has her eyes open wider replies:

“I don’t know…I am also surprised…”

-TCH- “You should get to know him better…” Tiwa acts like a smug. Valerie glares at her. Rosa steps in; “Girls stop fighting…we want to listen…”

“All am I saying is the truth…El Charro Negro is a being that exists betweem two worlds…it’s no wonder he could speak to her…and you call yourself his sister…”

Valerie ignores her, however she thinks; “She’s right…I barely know him at all…he’s always been so distant towards me…even if we live together…we barely speak to each other….I wonder…does he trust me at all?”

Back in the room, Anastasia begins to speak; “You are correct, Alejandro’s soul is heading to Mictlan as we speak…”

“I see…and did you do something to him?”

“I did…I followed Master Aleister’s orders, on the night of the Prom Dance, me and one of the members of Sabia Regueli stabbed Alejandro, in order to drain him from all his mana…this would cause the golden key to release its poisonous mana and infect him. Alejandro’s soul would travel to Mictlan, because it was connected to the Golden Key…Golden Keys originated from Mictlan…therefore, Master wanted to test that hypothesis…judging from what you are saying…the hypothesis was correct…Alejandro’s soul is now in Mictlan.”

(BBBOOMMM)

Tiwa enters the room, with rage, she continues towards Anastasia and picks her up; “You bithc! Do you know what you’re saying right now?”

“Tiwa…what are you…” Kasumi tries to stop her but Uriel grabs her shoulder and shakes his head.

“I was just following my mission…that is all…”

“Following your mission? You used Alejandro as an experiment…didn’t you feel any guilt?”

“No…I didn’t…”

(SSLLLAAPPP)

Tiwa slaps Anastasia with force, leaving everyone in shock:

“ALEJANDRO TRUSTED YOU! YOU’RE NOTHING BUT TRASH! YOU AND YOUR CURSED FAMILY!”

“That’s enough…Tiwa, calm yourself down…” Uriel steps forward. Tiwa breathes heavily. Anastasia looks at her without any expression.

“It’s not fair…why…why did you do that? Alejandro trusted you…” Tiwa cries as she leans on Uriel. Anastasia looks down:

“Because…it was my mission…I am a tool for Lucifugus…I was ordered to do so…we as tools…don’t have free will…”

“And yet…you’re here…did Aleister send you here?” Uriel asks Anastasia. Anastasia immediately lifts her head:

“No…I came here because I wanted to talk to you…”

“I see…then from the looks of it…you do have free will…”

Anastasia opens her eyes wider as she remembers Alejandro’s words:

“For me…you are not a tool…you’re a living being…Anastasia…you have the right to choose whether you want to do something or not…You’re Anastasia…and nothing more…”

(DRIP DRIP DROP DROP)

Tears come out of Anastasia’s eyes as she remembers the times he spent with Alejandro:

“I-I-I’m sorry…I had no choice…but still…my heart hurts so much…I betrayed him…I betrayed Alejandro…the person I love…”

Anastasia cries for the first time. Uriel walks towards her and puts his hand on her head; “I see now…Alejandro was right…he always said that you had feelings…he believed in you…”

(SOB SOB)

Uriel releases Anastasia and gives her a handkerchief. Tiwa looks enraged; “How can you stay so calm…she betrayed Alejandro and now he is…”

“Calm down Tiwa…she was following orders…and the reason she is here is because she wants to rescue him…isn’t that right?”

Anastasia nods in agreement; “Indeed, I came from my own free will…and I want to help you…in fact, I know of a way to save Alejandro…”

“You do?” Kasumi looks surprised. Tiwa looks at her with suspicion; “Oh yeah, and how?”

“Through the usage of the golden key right?” Uriel comments, Anastasia nods in agreement; “Indeed, we can use the golden key to open the door to Mictlan…according to my Master…the CIBOLA Cemetery acts as a passageway towards Mictlan…”

“I see…that explains the enormous amount of mana that I have been sensing from that area ever since I came here…”

“Wait…I thought you could enter Mictlan freely, Uriel? Doesn’t El Charro Negro has power to do that?” Tiwa asks Uriel. Uriel looks at her and replies:

“I can’t…one year ago…I was involved in an incident that left me incapable of going there…in other words…I was banned…”

“What did you…”

“Besides, in order to go…we must enter in another way besides dying right?”

“You got a point…The CIBOLA cemetery that has always been part of my people’s territory…it’s true, according to legend…that place leads to the other world…but I never thought that you would know…” Tiwa glares at Anastasia. Anastasia, who has return to her normal attitude, explains:

“My master has strange skills that permit him to grab any information he wants…”

“I see…well, I don’t care about that…what we need now is…a golden key…” Uriel says out loud. Everyone, including those listening from the other room, looked surprised.

“A golden key? Uriel…how are we going to get a golden key?” Kasumi asks Uriel. Uriel opens a portal; “Leave that to me…I will obtain that golden key…”

“Wait…Uriel…” Kasumi tries to stop him. Uriel grabs her shoulder; “I promise that I will save him…come Anastasia…I will return in one hour…”

Uriel and Anastasia disappear in the portal. Valerie looks at the monitor and sighs; “There he goes again…going who knows where without telling me…” Valerie feels down:

“Big Brother…don’t you trust me?”

Lucifugus Mansion…

Located near the mountains there is an exclusive street where the leaders of the Twin cities live. Giant mansions with the best cars. At the end of the street there is a huge mansion where the mayor resides. A portal opens in front of the mansion, Uriel and Anastasia come out of the portal…

“So this is the Lucifugus Mansion ehh? Looks comfortable…” Uriel looks at Anastasia. Anastasia looks nervous:

“Mr. Uriel…I don’t know why are we here but I must warn you that…”

In a blink of an eye, they are surrounded by giant golems. Walking towards them is a figure with skeleton mask and a black robe called El Muerto:

“Greeting Charro Negro, what brings you to this humble home?”

“Calm down Iskandar…what you called humble…I called greed…” Uriel chuckles, El Muerto chuckles as well:

“Oh…so we’re much the same…aren’t we…”

“Perhaps…” Uriel has a confident expression as he glares at El Muerto. El Muerto looks at Anastasia:

“Anastasia…it’s surprising to see you with him…are you going to go against our Master…”

“I am…I came here to grab one of the Golden keys…”

“You must be joking…why would we give you one of our keys? To save the life of a worthless human?”

In a blink of an eye, Anastasia disappears from El Muerto’s site and appears in front of him. -PPPUUMM- Anastasia punches El Muerto, El Muerto blocks the punch with his hand. Anastasia expresses anger:

“I will ask to never say that again…”

“Anastasia…you traitor…” El Muerto lifts his other hand. Uriel prepares to move as the golems prepare to attack.

“That’s enough…” The three of them hear a voice coming from the door. A woman stands there and begins to walk towards them.

“Mistress Olivia…” Anastasia jumps back.

“Anastasia dear…care to explain what is going on?”

Olivia Lucifugus is Darius' wife. She has white hair, white skin and a slim body. She has the appearance of a 40 year old woman. She has a reddish tone on her eyes.

Olivia stops and looks at Uriel; “Good evening Mr. Di Fiore…would you like to come inside and have a cup of tea?”

“I appreciate the invitation but I will have to pass…”

“Mistress…I-I-I need a favor to ask…” Anastasia tries to act brave but her fear engulfs her body. Olivia chuckles; “Anastasia-dear, call me Mother…please…”

“M-M-Mother…I require a golden key…”

“I see…so, you want to save that boy…am I right?”

Anastasia looks at her surprised; “How did you know?” Olivia chuckles; “Fufufu…because I am your mother…you have changed…ever since you started living with Alejandro…you’ve shown emotion…something that I always wanted you to have…”

Olivia walks forward and takes out a container. The container has a shape of a sphere with golden color; “In here lies the Golden Key found in Mexico…this is the second golden key…”

Uriel chuckles; “So that viejo gave you the key after all…I should've guessed…”

Olivia extends her arm;; “Uriel...I will lend it to you…but on one condition…you must keep my daughter safe…”

Anastasia grabs the container. Olivia hugs her; “Anastasia…I will respect your decision…but please…come back safely…”

Anastasia with tears in her eyes hugs her back; “I will mother…” Anastasia and Olivia share a mother-daughter moment.

Uriel opens a portal, Olivia looks at Uriel; “Keep my daughter safe…otherwise…I am going to kill everyone you love…”

Anastasia goes towards Uriel. Uriel smiles and shows his reddish tone eyes; “I don’t have anyone I love anymore…”

The portal closes. Olivia sighs; “I hate seeing her go…”

“Mistress, was it okay to let them go with the golden key?” El Muerto asks Olivia. Olivia nods in agreement; “Everything is going according to my husband’s plans…he said to let them go…”

“Very well…I shall take my leave…” El Muerto disappears. Olivia chuckles as her fangs grow:

“I can’t wait for my time to participate in this story…I will show everyone…what true fear is…”

Yggdrasil 's Base…

A portal opened in the base…Uriel and Anastasia come out of the portal…

“Uriel…what happened?” Kasumi asks Uriel. Uriel looks at Anastasia. Anastasia shows them the container:

“This is the Golden Key…we are going to use it to travel to Mictlan…”

“Really?” Everyone looks surprised. Uriel walks towards the door. Valerie looks at Uriel:

“Uriel…where are you going?”

Uriel looks at Valerie:

“I need to talk to El Viejo…”

Uriel looks at Kasumi; “I’m going to borrow the other room…”

“S-S-Sure…no problem…”

As soon as Uriel leaves, everyone looks at the monitor.

“Oooh…I want to see what he will do…” Chelsea looks with curiosity. Valerie walks forward:

“He will communicate with his teacher…Juan de la Trinidad…”

“Oh wow…and how will he do that?”

“Just wait and see…”

Uriel enters the other room. He closes his eyes and makes a strong step:

“Regnum Belli” (Realm of the War)

Flames come out of the ground, creating a giant circle. Four other circles appear outside the first with symbols such as a horse, a sword, a shield and a flame.

“Ay por Dios…this looks like a devil’s doing…” Rosa takes out a rosary feeling fear. Carlos sighs:

“What the hell…who is he going to talk to…”

Chelsea chuckles; “Fufufu…this is so exciting…”

Uriel sits in the middle of the circle and closes his eyes:

“Alright Viejo…hear my summons…”

In a strange realm…there is a crimson sky with a deserted environment. They cacti surrounded the area with a moon shining on top of the sky without any clouds around…

Uriel stands in the middle of the realm, he looks around call for Juan:

“Hey Viejo…where are you?”

“What the hell do you want muchacho?” A figure appears in front of him. The figure is a shadow with red eyes; “You know I am in the bed with a hot woman right now…and you interrupted me…”

“I don’t care…I need to talk about Mictlan…”

The shadow reveals Juan’s appearance as he smiles; “Don’t tell me you got involved in another problem right?”

Juan de la Trinidad is Uriel’s Predecessor…He has brown skin, red eyes, a mustache and black hair. He is wearing a traditional Charro Suit, and has his sombrero on top of his head.

“My friend’s soul is heading towards Mictlan…I need to ask for you to let me go to Mictlan…”

“Hahaha…your friend? Since when do you have friends? I thought you were over that thing since the death of Lorenzo…”
