“Now concentrate on your mana organ. Try to pull in all your mana back into it.” said Gobo, unprepared for the reaction I was about to give him.
“Mana organ?” If I had a mana organ, was I not supposed to know about it? If I had a mana organ, was I not supposed to feel it? My mana traveled all around my body instead of focusing on one point, although from time to time it felt as if it concentrated somewhere near my heart, it feels more amorphous than something to be limited by an organ.
“Do you not know what a mana organ is, Chief?” asked Gobo, obviously shocked by my ignorance.
“I have no clue, actually.”
“How did you use magic?”
“I just… used it…. instinctively?”
“…” Gobo let out an audibly loud sigh. “Mana organ is the organ that enables you to use magic. Every living being has a mana organ, but not every single one of them has a mana organ developed enough to control to flow of mana and turn it into magic power. Mana is ubiquitous, it is everywhere. I think we can say it is the law of this world. Those who can use it are the ones who can use magic. You can train your mana organ, of course, that is why I said I could teach every goblin some level of magic. But, it is extremely difficult and time and effort consuming to master using the mana organ, especially for those born without undeveloped mana organs.”
“Where is this mana organ in our bodies then?”
“For goblins, it is below our stomach. For humans, I do not know. It is not possible for me to know by feeling your magic either, since while it is the organ that allows you to access, process, and manipulate mana, it cannot store mana. Mana is stored in your entire body. That is why you need to concentrate on the organ when casting magic. That is the reason why I had thought that you already knew that you had a mana organ and where it was in your body – because you can use magic. Normally, using magic without being able to control your mana organ is impossible…”

“So now… how am I supposed to find where it is?”
“Well, at least now you know something like a mana organ exists somewhere in your body and that it gives you the ability to manipulate mana. Try to cast magic and feel where the mana gets transmuted into magic.”
After giving Gobo a quick glance to show that I listened to his words, I started casting my usual magic: the gate. I raised my hand towards the empty space in front of me, but instead of concentrating on what I want to call from behind the gate, I placed my focus inside myself. Where did the mana get transmuted into magic? Even mana was a new term I just learned about. I did not have much time to familiarize myself with any of this. Yet, if I was supposed to know about these before using magic, it only made sense that I would just understand them in a whim.
The mana, what I previously thought to be magic power, concentrated on top of my heart as a cup to be filled, but that was not where it became magic. Indeed, it had not become something like a magic power yet. As the magic progressed, right there, in a split second before it traveled through my arm into my hand an from there to outside, above my stomach, it was processed into something more transmittable – something that needed to be used in an instant, something which existed as a form of energy. Mana, on the other hand, was something I could accumulate on top of my heart, not as an energy, but something more akin to food. I could feed on it, but until I used it, it could merely exist without being spent. Magic was not like that – it desired to be spent. No… it needed to be spent. That was why I could not stop magic once I started casting it.

Focus on the mana organ… I see, it is above my stomach. Can I change the way mana is transmuted into magic there? It is worth a try. I will just think of it as a processor, and it should….
The gate opened this time with a light shade of gray, sparkling like water reflecting sunshine at dawn. Hundreds of monsters marched in, with clothes, carrying many goods in handcarts, some pulled by huge four-legged monsters. Goblins, orcs, hobgoblins, giths, trolls, ogres, among many humanoid and non-humanoid races I was unfamiliar with kneeled down.
I took another quick glance at Gobo. His skin had now become red, with fangs darting out of his mouth. He had five fingers, and a much more muscular of a body. He was kneeling down with the new cohort.
“My king.” were the words that Gobo crumbled inside his mouth before pouring them out loud enough for the new monsters to hear.
“My king!” the crowd of monsters followed suit.
“What is wrong Gobo?? What is going on?”
“My king! My memories… My memories came back!”.
“!?!?!?”

And secretly is the Guardian of the Time Stone.
