《Wolf Bloodline》The Big Plan

We had made our preparations, we were getting ready to go. We visited Master Yix again to say goodbye to him. Master Yix smiled when he saw us and said,
"It was really nice of you to come and visit me. And I hope you slept well where I showed you."
"Actually we needed a place to sleep, so we are the ones who are grateful. Thanks again Master Yix."
"It was a pleasure for me. But I have to ask something, where are you going now?"
I forgot to look at the map for our next stop. I immediately took my map out of my bag and looked at where we should go for the next person.
After being silent for a short time, Hiroshi said,
"Hey, Kid! What's our next destination?"
"It does not appear in this kingdom."
Hiroshi said with a surprised expression, "What?"
"It appears in the second Kingdom."
There was no other person left in this Kingdom. We had to get to the second Kingdom to find the 5th person.
Lezlie looked at us and said,
"If so, we must cross the sea to reach the second Kingdom."
"It's not that easy. There are huge seas between the kingdoms. Also, even if we get to the ports, if the First Epic or elite soldiers catch us, we will be in a difficult situation."
Babu said, "Hiroshi is right. We don't have a choice in here."
They were right it was very hard for us to get there. But I had an idea on my mind....
"Then let's fight. If we're never going to get through there, we're going to have to fight, so let's fight."
Everyone looked at me surprised and some of them were scared,

"Are you crazy, Kid, there are three of us! Who knows how many of them there are? And we're still not strong enough."
"He is right Ryuu. If Master Yix couldn't beat him, we can't either."
"I know what I'm saying, but if we don't act now, we'll have an extra enemy in front of us in a situation where we're cornered later."
"I understand what you're saying, Kid, but we're talking about fighting against an army and an Epic."
Master Yix stood up,
"Ryuu is right if you go to the second Kingdom in this case. No doubt you will die. But here you have a chance to beat the First Epic."
Lezlie looked at Master Yix,
"Really? But, How is that possible?"
"Yes, a lineage lives among the mountains ahead, their name is the Cronus lineage, a lineage that has a lot of grudge against elite soldiers and epics because of the events they experienced in the past. And a very crowded lineage. If you can convince them. They will fight with you against the First Epic. I'm sure of it."
Hiroshi lit his cigar and said, "He is probably right. We need more people to beat him and this looks like this is our only chance."
"And also, If we consider the people we have encountered before, 2 out of 5 elite soldiers have been defeated. That leaves only 3 elite soldiers and one epic."
Master Yix said, "So you were the ones who beat them. It's impressive, but the people you beat are nothing compared to the strength of the first and second elite soldiers. When the two of them are together, they do not know what it is to be defeated. They always stay close to the First Epic. This is everything I know about them, but I know that they're very dangerous too. "

I said, "But Master Yix what about the First Epic? Do you know anything about him?"
"He's too strong to fight. In a fight, he carefully examines his opponent's moves. He's very adaptable to combat areas and very good at using his surroundings. Be very careful about this, If you try to fight him you might end up dying there."
I didn't know how strong he was, but if I were going to fight him I had to be the one who decides where to fight him.
"And also, Babu, if you want to complete your education on controlling your Ki, there will be a few more of my descendants in the second Kingdom. They'll give you the help you need."
Babu hugged Master Yix once more and said,
"I will be back again Master Yix. But I don't know how late it is going to be."
"Don't worry Babu, I'm trusting on you, you will find your way back home like you always do."
After our conversations with Master Yix, we got some information.
I was thinking about the information he gave. I know that we experienced such difficulties in previous events, but the journey ahead of us was going to be more challenging than any other.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.

It is said that whoever would climb the top and awaken the goddess would get any wish they desire granted. With a newfound power, young adventure Silica Hale and her Fairy partner Jil must venture to the tower and awaken the sleeping goddess. --------------------- Authors Notes: Inspired by more or less the game Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Serendipity is a large epic drawing a lot on the classic JRPG formula. An epic that will see the heroes travel the entire world of Earthena to reach their goal, with the intention of building upon a rich and dynamic world of mystery and war. Grammer hopefully won't be too much of an issue compared to Goddess Chosen given that this one is more recent, but... Just give you guys a heads up. This story is ongoing.
