“What did he want?” Pansy asked as soon as Draco got out from the potion classroom.
“Just talk about an old assignment” Draco lied, walking down the corridor.
Pansy ran up besides of him, not looking convinced, but to Draco´s big relief, she dropped it. “I heard that Granger girl and Weasley talking about Hagrid. Personally I´m happy he´s gone. At least Professor Grubbly-Plank doesn’t try to get us killed. She actually knows her stuff and she also looks more like a real teacher” Pansy rambled on.
Draco tried to tune her out. It wasn’t hard with all those thoughts swirling around in his head. He hadn’t really thought about it, but now that The Dark Lord was back, did he had to become a Death Eater too? Did he even want that? Of course he wanted that. He wanted to serve such an honor full purpose right?
They turned a corner and then both stopped abruptly. Harry and Ginny was standing in a corner, pressed close together, kissing. Draco felt like all air had been punched out of him and his eyes began burning with tears. “Ew” Pansy shrieked, which made the couple pull apart.
Ginny looked really annoyed, but Harry´s cheeks turned bright pink and he avoided looking at Draco, who wasn’t able to look away himself. “Do you have a problem Parkinson?” Ginny asked and crossed her arms.
“It´s just my breakfast. I think it´s coming up again” Pansy shot back with a flip of her hair.
“Oh, you walked past I mirror did you?” Ginny spat back.
“Let´s go” Harry whispered and took a grip in her arms.
“Why should we go? They can find another corner” Ginny said stubbornly.
Draco blushed at that and finally tore his eyes away from the Gryffindor boy. He turned and left, as fast as he legs could. He could hear Pansy running up to him. “What happened? Why didn’t you say anything?”
Draco bit his lip to stop the sobs which fought to break out of him. Why did it hurt so much? “Not in the mood” he fought out, not daring to look at her.
“I´m so gonna spread this. I think the Weasley girl, just broke up with that boy Dean. This is such good drama” she said exited and clapped her hands.

Draco stopped so suddenly that Pansy almost bumped into him. “Could you just shut up for two minutes?” he snerred.
She looked confused at him before crossing her arms. “Fine. I will go. You´re such an ass at the moment” she complained and stormed off.
Draco looked after her until she turned a corner. Then he slowly walked down the hallway towards his next lesson, not caring that he was gonna miss lunch.
Harry nervously fiddled with his sleeve. Why had he done it? Why did it have to be Draco who caught them? Why did they have to have been caught at all?
He looked around in the slowly filled up Great Hall. Students were talking and filling up their plates, dreading the rest of the days classes and homework. But there was no sign of either Draco or Ron. He didn’t know why he felt so bad that Draco had seen him and Ginny kiss. He had done it to get over his stupid feelings for a certain blond Slytherin boy. But right now it felt like it had done the complete opposite. He dearly hoped that Parkinson would keep her mouth closed about it. For some reason he was quite certain that Draco would. “Hey”.
He looked up when Hermione and Ron sat down next to him. Ron immediately began filling up his plate. “Are you okay?” Hermione asked looking nervously at Harry.
“Yes, of course. I´m perfect” he quickly said, feeling his palms sweat.
Hermione didn’t look convinced. “You look all red and sweaty.
“It´s just hot in here” he said and quickly looked down at his plate.
“Really great food today. Excellent”.
Hermione eyed him worried before beginning to get some food herself. “Why is Pansy Parkinson talking to Dean?” Ron asked, mouth filled with beans and chicken.
Harry looked up so quickly that his neck cracked. Ron was right. Pansy and Dean stood at the doors, whispering. Pansy looked real smug, meanwhile Dean was looking down at his shoes. “He doesn’t look to happy does he?” Hermione said also looking up.
“He´s looking at you Harry” Ron said confused.
And he was right. Pansy had walked down to the Slytherin table, looking very pleased, meanwhile Dean was still standing at the door starring down at Harry, who´s heart was beating in his chest. He would rather fight Voldemort again than having Ron know about this. “He doesn’t look happy” Ron continued as Dean began walking down towards them. Harry was ready to sink down under the table at this point. “Is it true?” Dean asked in a low voice when he reached them.

Harry was happy that he didn’t scream up about it. “Whoa, there. Is what true?” Ron asked confused.
“He kissed Ginny. You know that we have just broken up” Dean accused, his lip trembling slightly.
Harry felt so bad. “No no, Harry would never do that” Ron said with a forced smile.
“Right Harry?”
Hermione looked really uncomfortable sitting in the middle of them. Harry felt like all blood had gathered in his face. The hall felt all too warm. “Well, I´m sorry. Both of you. I didn’t think”.
Ron stood up so suddenly that his plate scrambled loudly to the stone floor. People around them looked interested at them. Pansy was stretching her neck from the Slytherin table to get a better look. “You kissed my sister?” Ron snerred.
“Yes, I-“ but Harry got caught off before he could explain himself.
“I thought you were a better friend than this” Ron snerred and stormed out the Great Hall.
“I´m sorry Dean. I won’t do it again. I don’t like her that way” Harry said sheepishly.
“Okay” Dean nodded, looking down at his shoes, clearly hating the attention from the other students just as much as Harry did himself.
He went over to sit with Seamus who quickly leaned in to say something to him. “You´re okay?” Hermione asked.
“I´m awful. What should I do?” Harry asked hopelessly.
Hermione shrugged. “Let him cool down and then talk to him. Technically you haven’t done anything wrong… Even though you probably shouldn’t say that to him” she looked back down at her food.
Harry nodded. She was probably right. He would have to talk with Ron later.
Ron had avoided Harry all day and Harry had let him, but after dinner, which he had with Neville, he really wanted to talk with his best friend. He and Neville entered the common room and Harry quickly looked around. Hermione and Ron was seated at one of the tables, books and homework spread around them. Harry slowly walked towards them.
“I'm sorry” he said as he sat himself down besides Ron.
Hermione nervously look up at the two boys. Ron just glared at him with narrowed eyes. “I shouldn´t have done it. I have talked with her. She is totally cool about it. She says that she only did it to make Dean jealous” Harry explained nervously.
Ron narrowed his eyes further. “I don´t care if she´s alright with it. You kissed my sister for bloody sake” the ginger boy exclaimed.
“God dammit, Ron. She can make her own decisions” Hermione sighed.
She sat on the floor in front of Harry and Rons armchairs. She had needed a lot of space to spread her books and papers around on.
Harry quickly looked around. Luckily it didn’t seem that anyone in Gryffindors common room had heard them. They all sat with their heads in books or played magic chess. Ron glared irritated at her before looking back at Harry. “I know, I´m really sorry. I just thought it would help me get over someone” Harry mumbled, the last part mostly to himself.
Ron looked at him in surprise. Even Hermione forgot about her project.
“Get over someone?” Ron whispered.
“Did it?” Hermione asked.
“Did it what?” Harry asked.
She sighed. “Did it help you get over the person?”
“No, it just made me want him even more…” Harry admitted looking down at his feet.
Ron narrowed his eyes again and Hermione looked surprised. “Him?” she asked.
Harry looked up. He could feel his cheeks blush. “Hm? Did I say him?” he laughed nervously.
“I meant to say her” he said beginning to sweat slightly.
“You definitely said him, Harry” Hermione said with a smug smile.
Rons eyes suddenly widened. “Are you gay?” he whispered.
“No, of course not” he quickly said.
Ron nodded and looked out of the window, but Hermione just lifted her eyebrows. Harry cleared his throat. “What if I was?” he then asked silently.
Ron snapped his head back to look at him. Hermione looked irritated at him before looking Harry in the eyes. “We don´t care” she said and shrug her shoulders.
“Yeah man” Ron said and cleared his throat awkwardly. “As long as you don´t fancy like my brothers or like Malfoy or something” he said grinning slightly.
Harry chuckled halfhearted. “So who is it you like?” Hermione asked exited.
Harry blushed and looked down. “Doesn’t matter” he mumbled.

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.
