Draco POV
Draco had both been really proud and mad at himself when Harry really had used Gillyweed in the second tournament. All the other Slytherins had been furious about the outcome. Harry had been the last one to come back and yet he had still won over both Krum and Fleur. But Draco couldn't really see what they all were so upset about. Harry always found some way get the extra point. Why did it still come as a surprise for some people? "So Potter was too stupid to get the task, so he gets pity points? How that's fair?" Blaise asked.
Crabbe and Goyle both sat cracking knuckles angrily. Draco would bet his pride on that they didn't even get what they were talking about. Draco sighed and leaned back in the armchair he sat in. Pansy quickly came over and sat down besides of him on the floor. "Don't worry Draco we will get back on him" she said comforting.
Draco closed his eyes and shook his head. "What wrong with you?" Blaise asked irritated.
"You have been acting really weird lately".
Draco quickly looked up at him. "No I haven't".
Blaise chuckled. "Well, yes you have".
Draco growled. Pansy looked sympathetic at him. She carefully lifted her hand and brushed his hair with it. Draco quickly stood up. "I'm going to the library" he said.
He ignored the hurt face on Pansy and left Slytherins common room. There was no way he was going to the library right now. His mind was in chaos. He tried to loosen up his tie. It felt like it tried to strangle him to death. His head was warm and he could feel the stupid tears in his eyes. He fought them back and hurried down the corridors. He just hoped he wouldn't meet anyone. He had no idea where he was going. He just needed to get away. He finally stopped when he stood in a small corridor high up in the castle. It didn't look like a place where people would come. There were no classroom anywhere near, so why should people come here? Draco leaned against the wall behind him and sighed. His legs slowly gave up under him and he felt down to the floor. He folded his arms around his legs and looked down the corridor. He couldn't remember having been here before. There were almost no paintings on the walls, besides a little one of some dwarfs on his right and a big one of a fat lady in a pink dress on his left. Draco looked down. He didn't know what to do about anything. His father would be so ashamed if he knew how he felt. Draco could feel his body shake and he pressed his legs closer to his chest. He let his forehead fall down and touch his knees. How did it happen that he felt in love with Harry Potter? Why did it happen? Draco felt like hitting something. Why was he so wrong? If anyone ever found out his life would be over. Draco Malfoy, son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, a fag. Draco could feel his sobs building up inside and he fought all he could to keep them away. He wouldn't cry. He knew it was wrong to cry. "Malfoy?" a voice suddenly asked.
Draco jumped and quickly got on his feet. He looked around like a wild animal with his eyes big. Harry stood over by the painting of the fat lady. He looked shocked. Draco quickly cleared his throat and a frown creased his forehead. "What do you want Potter?"

Inside he was dying. Why, of all people, should it be Harry Potter who came out and saw him? Harry still looked shocked. What had he just witnessed? Draco Malfoy sitting on the floor, his whole body shaking. Now standing up with glassy eyes and wild hair. "What are you doing?" he asked carefully.
"Standing" he replied. "I thought that was pretty obvious".
Harry looked at his sworn enemy. Draco looked paler than usual and even though he tried to stand casually, his eyes were everywhere else than at Harry. "Why here?" Harry pressed.
"The Slytherin common room is in the dungeons".
Draco snorted. "Well, thanks for that useless piece of information" he snapped.
"I'm pretty sure I know where that is".
"Then why here?" Harry asked again now with crossed arms.
"Why shouldn't I be here?"
Harry lifted his eyebrows and looked over at the painting with the fat lady. "Well, she's the entrance to gryffindors common room".
Draco mentally kicked himself. "Wow! good job Draco" he thought to himself.
He angrily crossed his arms when he could feel himself blush. "What are you doing out here then? Shouldn't you be in there celebrating. It was lucky the judges thought that your stupidity was worth extra points huh".
Harry ignored the comment. "I actually came out to try to find you".
Draco lifted his eyebrows. "Why?"
"I should thank you. I wouldn't have succeeded if you hadn't told me about the Gillyweed" Harry said simply.
Dracos eyes widened. "Are you crazy Potter?!" he exclaimed and took a firm grip in the Gryffindors sleeve.
He started pulling him with him down through the castle. "What the hell are you doing Malfoy?" Harry asked.
"Shut up Potter".
He dragged him down stairs and through corridors he never had been in before finally letting go of the other boy. "What the..." Harry said, but Draco interrupted.
"You can't stand and say stuff like that where anyone could hear you" Draco said.
Harry lifted his brows and looked at the blond boy. "You dragged me all the way down here because you didn't want anyone knowing that you helped?" he asked.
Draco nodded. "Duh Potter" he said irritated.
He blushed when Harry kept on looking skeptical at him. "Well can I thank you now?" he asked sarcastically.
Draco growled. "No. I didn't do it for you, so just quit it".
Harry shook his head. "Oh yeah, you did it because you like to show that you're more clever than me, right?".
Draco nodded. Harry turned around, but he didn't go. Draco looked confused at him, but suddenly Harry turned back at him. "Seriously, what's your problem Malfoy?" he suddenly exclaimed.
Draco shifted uncomfortable. "You're my problem Potter!" he yelled back.
"How? Why? How can I be your problem? I have never asked to be your enemy. It has always been you. What have I done that could possible make you hate me this much?" Harry said frustrated.
"Is Potter tired of being bullied?" Draco snerred back.
Harry took an angry step towards the Slytherin. Draco didn't move. He glared into the green eyes. He had a hard time hearing what the other boy said. He wanted to put a hand up and block the words from entering his ears. "Seriously Malfoy! Why do you do it? Does it make you feel big and powerful? Because you're not. You're nothing, but a pathetic child, who wants attention" Harry said angrily.
Those words stung more than Draco could bare. Not hearing them from his father, but from Harry Potter. The boy who meant more to Draco than he would ever admit. "And that should come from you Saint Potter?" Draco said.

Harry had had enough now. "You know what Malfoy? I'm tired of you making you self feel better by picking on others" Harry said angrily.
"Oh, really? What are you going to do about it?" Draco asked, his eyes narrowed.
Harry opened his mouth, but then changed his mind and quickly pulled out his wand and pointed it at the taller boy. Draco didn't even get to react before he was send flying back by Harrys spell. He was thrown hard against a door that sprang open from the collision. Draco landed hard on cold stone floor in a little room. Harry came walking against him, still looking angrily at him with his wand drawn. "What were you saying about feeling better by harming others?" Draco asked smirking.
But Harry didn't react. He was looking past Draco who turned to see what was more important to look at than himself. Behind him stood a big mirror with a golden frame. The words "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi" was carved into the top of the frame.
"Looking good?" Draco asked, irritated that Harry rather would look at himself in the mirror.
Harrys eyes felt back on Draco before something that could look like realization came into his eyes. "What do you see Malfoy?" he suddenly asked.
Draco lifted his eyebrows. "Seriously Potter? You ask me what I see in the bloody mirror?" he asked.
Harry nodded. Draco laughed. "It's a mirror Potter. I see you and me obviously".
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he knew he never should have said them. Harrys eyes got big and he dropped his wand. "You don't see anything but you and me?" he asked.
Draco looked carefully at him. "Why?" he asked, trying to understand where he had made his mistake.
He slowly stood up, not looking away from the raven haired. Harry shook his head looking down, and then suddenly he went over and pressed Draco against a pillar behind him and locked his lips with his own. Draco gasped surprised. Harry stepped away and looked at him with doubt in his eyes. Draco could feel butteflies in his stomach together with the warm exploding's. "What was that Potter?" he finally managed to say.
He didn't really believe what had just happened. Had Harry Potter just kissed him? "You don't know what that is, do you?" Harry asked and nodded over at the mirror.
Draco didn't think he could get more confused. "It's a mirror God dammit".
"It's the mirror of Erised" Harry said and looked expectantly at him.
Draco narrowed his eyes. He thought he could recognize the name. His eyes went wide when he realized what it was. He had heard about that mirror when he was little. The mirror that showed what you most desired. Draco smacked himself in the head with his hand. It was awful. The thing he desired the most was Harry Potter?! This couldn't be true. One thing was that he fancied the other boy, but this. He could feel his breath speeding up. He carefully looked at the other boy. But Harry had kissed him. Did Harry feel the same way? "But I hate you" Draco said quickly.
"You hate me too" he continued.
Harry took a step back. "I don't know anymore. Yes, I hate you, but I still kinda like you, and I don't know how that is possible because you're a bloody prat".
Harry looked worriedly at Draco. "Why are you breathing so fast?" he asked.
Draco couldn't control it. It felt like a panic attack or something. But who could blame him? This was the worst thing ever... and the best, but mostly it was bad. "How long?" Harry asked silent.
Draco shook his head and looked down. "I tried to become your friend already in the first year, remember?"
Harry chuckled. "Not a very successful attempt".
Draco glared at him. Harry bit his lip. They looked at each. None of them knew what to say. Draco had almost gotten control over his breathing. He could still feel sweat in his palms and he couldn't stop imagine his father. He would be so mad if he could see his son right now. "Malfoy?" Harry asked.
Draco looked up. Harry cleared his throat. "Are you okay?"
The Slytherin laughed halfhearted. "Yeah, sure. My enemy has just realized that I fucking fancy him".
Harry shook his head. "Yeah, I don't know what to say".
He pulled in his sleeve and looked up at the other boy. "Sorry about, you know... kissing you" he mumbled.
Draco quickly looked down. "That's quite alright" he said biting his lip.
He looked up when Harry chuckled. "Are you really blushing Malfoy?" he asked.
"Oi, shut up Potter" Draco growled.
They became silent again. "Well, thank you for the help with the tournament" Harry said.
Draco nodded still looking down at the floor. "It was nothing. I didn't really do anything".
Harry sighed. He had to just get this out. "I really don't know what to do about this Malfoy" he said honestly.
Draco looked up with wide eyes. "What is there to do?" he asked panicky.
"That was what I just said" Harry pointed out.
Draco sighed. "Can we maybe try to become better friends?" Harry asked carefully.
"How?" Draco asked confused.
Harry snorted. "Maybe if you stopped bullying me and my friends" he suggested.
Draco blushed deeper. "You know, it kinda feels like we have had this conversation before".
Harry lifted his eyebrows. "I know. My hopes for you aren't really that high either"
Draco looked away. "It's my dad" he mumbled.
Harry sighed. "We can't be friends... or more, if you're keep on acting like that. You must not let your father destroy you".
Draco looked up. He could feel butterflies in his stomach. "I get that" he said.
Harry carefully took a step closer to the taller boy. "Before I go, can I just" he whispered.
Draco looked confused at him. Harry blushed a bit, but still leaned in for the second time and planted his lips on the Slytherins. Draco sighed and relaxed against the ravenhaired boys body. It was only a couple of seconds before Harry stepped back. "I really don't know why I want to do that" he said more to himself than anyone else.
Draco chuckled and looked down. "Me neither" he said.
Harry smiled at him. "Well, I see you later" he said.
Draco nodded, but suddenly he froze. "You wont tell anyone" he said.
"That we kissed?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, that too. But any of this. You can't tell anyone that we spoke" he said desperately.
Harry looked confused at him. "You don't want people to know that you can be nice?" he asked.
Draco looked down. "Please" he said.
He could hear Harry sigh. "I promise to stop bully people. I will try to be nicer. You just have to promise" Draco begged.
"Fine fine" Harry said.
Draco looked up. He just got to see the door close behind the Gryffindor. Draco slowly turned to the stupid mirror. His own face beamed back at his from the glass. Behind him stood Harry with his arms around Dracos shoulders. They both smiled happily. "I'm so sorry father" Draco mumbled and turned to leave the room.
