《String//Nagito Komeada》(14)

And so it stands, the time to stop loving her comes.
The world, sadly, likes to take the things it gives.
It gives you a string, and gives you a lover. Gives you a good life, or a life with lessons. The world gives you beautiful things to look at and beautiful people to befriend.
I, of course, being nearly 19, just want the one thing the universe didn't give you:
Freedom to choose.
The string, it ties me and everyone else around me down to a particular thing or person.
It tied me down to Hannah.
It tied her to Hajime.
If only the world wasn't so structured, I could of been with her. Oh, the beautiful love story we would of had. Two kids, in love all their lives, finally get together and maybe even tie the knot.
Again- fate comes in the way.
The world, though, was the one who had me rebel. Had me cut her string. Or maybe it was me? Is the universe in control? Or am I? Some situations I never know.
Did the universe not want me to have any relationship with (Y/N)?
Curiouser and curiouser, huh?
I suppose in the end, it was my ever changing luck that got us to this point.
I remember when we were young, and I would stay the night at her house, she would light a candle. (Y/N) had a tendency of falling asleep before she could blow it out, so it was up to me to do so before I left for the night.
Though I never wanted to blow out that candle.
Blowing out the candle meant it would be dark, and cold. It meant I would have to leave (Y/N) until the next day, or the next time we met.
There, of course, was the lighter though. To light the candle, and make it warm and bright again.

I suppose in a way (Y/N) was- no, is- like a candle.
The warmth that I truly never wanted to leave, the thing that caused a fire in my heart because, when left so alone she could burn cities.
She's my candle.
Unfortunately, the lighter is gone.
So, in the end, it's cold and dark for me. There will never be a next time we meet.
Someone else is making her glow now and that's okay, I suppose.
Truthfully, I knew I would never end up with her. My ending was never destined to be one of a fairy tale.
Maybe for the longest time I had hoped that she would come to me, asking for a future together. Maybe when I went to see her and had the accident, that was the universe telling me it wasn't meant to be.
Now, all these years later, I think I'm finally ready to walk away from the candle and forget about finding the lighter.
The dark is where I plan on staying, if it keeps her burning brighter than the sun.
fin.

The Type Specialist
Alex wakes up in the world of Pokémon. Obviously, the next step is to become a Pokémon Trainer, but not just any Pokémon Trainer. Why should I be mediocre with every type when I can be an expert in one? The Type Specialist is my first attempt to write a fiction. It is solely about travelling the world and building a strong team. Don't expect a solid plotline outside of Alex taking on the Gym Challenge and dealing with small problems that pop up here and there. Updates 5 times a week, every weekday until caught up.

We Never Use Our Powers for Anything Important
The world was once in peril. Wars were fought endlessly, creatures from beyond the Veil invaded the world, and greedy men almost tore the world apart. In the midst of all this madness, the world created Overseers— gifted people granted with unique powers. But that was a hundred years ago. Autumn Mountain Academy is the premier Overseer School in Japan. Here, thousands of the world's most powerful Overseers gather to learn how to harness their powers. But with the world already safe and peaceful, these gifted individuals can only use their incredible powers on the most mundane of things. Cheating in exams, playing pranks on one another, stealing some unlucky freshman's deliciously made bento— no rebellious deed is safe. Only one person is willing to fight against this juvenile idiocy— her name is Ayane Tsukino, a rare S Rank Overseer and president of the student council. Conditions in the school have improved because of her reign, because few people could challenge her overwhelming might. Enter is Hideaki Kimura, a boy interested in nothing but living a stereotypical high school life, maybe have it culminate with a cheesy romance if things go well for him. But his humble dream is shattered when he finds himself clashing with the most powerful Overseer in the school.

Second Life's Game: Hell

This fiction is purely intended to entertain and is not based upon any religion. *** What comes after death? The Afterlife. A world split into three layers. Heaven, Nexus and Hell. The Afterlife is harsh, cruel, and sometimes downright unfair, with everything based upon luck. A world with a game system, which enables the residents to level up, and gain special attributes. A tower lies in the middle of it all, named the Core, which provides passage to God, who will bestow on you your greatest desires. Unfortunately, to get to God, one must conquer 27 stages and battle against others wishing to meet him too. Ikite, a young teenager, gets killed by a gang of criminals and reawakens in Hell with a different body and life. As his two new personalities meld into one, he becomes an 'Awakener', someone who has their previous life's personality sharing their mind. However, he realises he has no combat perks, a bad class and a peasant's life in Hell, the lowest layer. At first, he decides on a hardworking, yet peaceful life with his mother, but bad luck wouldn' leave him alone. Forced to journey where he doesn't want to journey, will he overcome his obstacles, change his perspectives, and climb the tower? Or will he sink into the lifeless state, just like many of those around him... Kick back and relax with this book as it's your traditional LitRPG, with a twist or two here and there. Planer Laws
On my eighteenth birthday, the most unbelievable thing happened in my life. I, Asuraj, started to hear a voice in my head and an interface appeared before my eyes . That's not all, I had learned that I'm actually not from the world I grew up in. In fact, from the information gathered in my head, I'm actually from a place called Earth. Unfortunately, that plane had already met it's end. I have questions though, like how I came to this foreign world. I seem to look similar to these natives but I don't have the same aptitude as them. They can use fantastical abilities by using this worlds energy, however, I completely lack such gifts. To my good fortune. This interface thingy seems to be able to help me in what I'm lacking.
