"I want to file for divorce", mingyu blurted in one breath, ignoring his fast beating heart.

And taeri felt like her whole world crumbled down, she was literally shivering at the thought as her breath got uneven. She hated the moment she agreed to whatever her brother was planning. It not only hurt taehyung but caused her marriage to break apart.

"W-what?", hyunbin shuttered as if he couldn't believe his own ears. Yejin could feel taeri's trembling body as she tried providing some comfort.

"Hyung", taehyung whispered from beside, his eyes were wide in utter disbelief. And jungkook didn't even know how to react. He kind of understand mingyu's point here but of course he didn't want anything bad for them.

"Why?", taehyung mumbled.

"I just.. I don't want to be with someone who didn't even care before betraying her own brother then what am I supposed to expect more?", mingyu exclaimed. His heart was aching but he thought this was only way.

He loved taeri from the bottom of his heart. He did everything for her happiness but it didn't take much time for the other to use such harsh words against him that too after betraying her own brother.

He always admired his wife for being such a strong personality and ambitious. But her only priority towards her desire for achieving more, led everything to crush in front of his own eyes.

No one should give up on their dreams and should be ambitious and dedicated towards their goal. But during the whole journey one shouldn't be so blinded with greed of achieving more and more, that at the end they would be left only with their lonely self.

They say, in order to achieve a dream, one need to sacrifice something. But if it requires sacrificing your own loved ones then is it worth it?

These passion will soon disappear when you look behind and find no one to share what you accomplished.

Thus, you need to balance everything in life. Be ambitious, run behind your dream and goals but at the same time do not forget the ones who were always with you in times of your thick and thin. Because at the end of the day you will need a shoulder to cry on when everything gets too much to handle.

"Mingyu son, she is guilty for her actions.. Please do not punish her for someone else's fault", hyunbin pleaded.

"I am not punishing her, dad.. Who am I to do that? I just don't want such a life partner", mingyu stated, gulping down the pain he has been suffering.

And to anyone's surprise, jongin matched towards mingyu and pulled him up by his collar aggressively, which had everyone gasping in disbelief.

"Who the hell do you think you are? You will divorce my sister and ruin her life... And I will let you do that", he yelled at the top of his lungs and the whole family was on their feet to stop the male.

"What the hell are you doing?", taehyung yelled back as he tried pushing jongin away. Hyunbin joined him and they somehow managed to push the older male from a now coughing mingyu.

Jungkook was quick to hold mingyu as he almost fell down. Taehyung was immediately by his side as they rubbed mingyu's chest to calm his cough and uneven breath.

"Are you out of your mind?", hyunbin yelled but jongin was too furious to acknowledge anything.

"He is the one crazy here.. How dare he even say to divorce my sister?", he exclaimed and was about to match towards mingyu again.

Taeri stood in front of her husband as she pushed her brother with all her might.

"You are making it even worst, oppa", taeri yelled out in between her sobs.

"You hitting my husband will only lead to him to hating me more", she sobbed.

"You have already done enough.. Please just stay away from my life", she said dejectedly as her whole strong persona was crumbling down.

"What are you saying? I have always wanted best for you", jongin claimed, trying to prove his point.

"Oh please oppa.. You took care of me just because I am your sister.. If I was a boy then you would have treated me just the same as Tae.. I was blinded and believed your sweet words. But not anymore.. Our family is anyway breaking apart and now my marriage too", she hid her face in her palm as she sobbed loudly.

Jongin didn't have anything to say anymore as somin tried to pull him back seeing the situation getting worst because of his damn anger.

Hyunbin hugged Taeri to his chest as his own eyes were glossy seeing his only daughter broken like that, as yejin rubbed her back crying silently.

Jungkook sighed feeling really bad for taeri. Yes they deserve every ounce of sadness for what they caused to taehyung but knowing his baby, taehyung would be devastated, knowing somehow for him, mingyu took this decision. And the already rolling tears from those almond eyes were the proof.

Inhaling a deep breath, he pushed back his ego for the first time in his life--who wasn't taehyung, as he stood in front of mingyu taking both of his palm in his, grabbing others attention too.

"Hyung.. I understand what you said and believe me I respect every decision of yours. But if you are taking such a big step just because of taehyungie then please don't do this. He will be devasted and blame himself throughout his life knowing somehow he was the reason behind his only sister's broken marriage", jungkook said softly as mingyu stared at him with tears in his eyes.

"I assure you taehyungie only wants his family's happiness even when he himself is broken..

And I also know how much you love noona. I can see it in your eyes how much pain your are trying to hide behind that cold facade. As much I have known you, you will loose yourself if you break this marriage because no one can love noona more than you do", jungkook added tenderly.

Taehyung smiled through his tears as his chest swelled with pride. His koo never failed to surprise him. Jungkook knows exactly where and what to speak.

Yejin was left flabbergasted, she never in her life expected jungkook to speak up, among all. Jungkook has made a negative imagine in her mind but seeing him today, she doubts her own conclusions. Because a utterly selfish person would never do what jungkook did just now. And specially when no one supported him all these months but here he was.

Hyunbin was surprised, yes.. But he kind of understood jungkook's actual personality thus he felt more guilty for misunderstanding him earlier.

"Please hyung.. Consider your decision one last time.. I can never forgive myself if I am the reason behind this", taehyung pleaded and mingyu shook his head.

"It's not because you taehyung.. Don't blame yourself please..", mingyu hugged the younger.

"Gyu.. Can we talk please", taeri gathered her courage to plead as mingyu nodded with a sigh, "Okay",

Taehyung and jungkook was about to excuse themselves along with taeri and mingyu but hyunbin stopped them.

"Wait.. I want to finish this conversation today itself..just wait a little longer..", he said before handing taehyung a black file who took it silently.

"As you all know, I own 55% share and your mother owns 15 %.

I have decided taehyung will be the CEO of kim corporation with 40% share and as his legal spouse Jungkook will be the owner of 10% share... A condominium in Gangnam district and all our fertile lands in daegu belongs to him now", hyunbin stated.

Taehyung stared at hyunbin in disbelief as the older avoided his eyes at any cost. Hyunbin clearly gave away almost all of his share to taehyung and jungkook.

And jungkook couldn't be more happier his baby deserves the world.

"I.. Um.. Also wanted to.. Apologize for whatever happened.. I might have failed to understand you and failed to show any affection...but you are my youngest.. I will always love you..", hyunbin mumbled lowly.

Taehyung's heart was hammering in his chest because this was the first time his father said such loving words directly. He really wanted to cry out loud and hug him dearly and complain like a little child would do but he couldn't bring himself to forgive the older just yet.

"I also know..you might not forgive me..us.. At this moment..take your time..but just know that we are really guilty for what our unintentional ignorance caused you", hyunbin added further. Taehyung could only nod. He didn't want to say it was alright, because it wasn't.

Taehyung of course will forgive them. They were his parents after all and he loves them dearly but this wasn't the time, he needed more time to heal.

"And Jungkook", hyunbin turned towards the male who had a funny surprised expression on his face.

"Yes", he squeaked out before clearing his throat, he didn't know the attention would divert towards him all of a sudden.

"I know you are different.. But at least you are best for my son.. You can model but just keep our family reputation in mind before signing any random contract", hyunbin said awkwardly and jungkook nodded with equal awkwardness, trying to keep his big mouth shut.

On the other hand, Jongin and somin was frozen in their spot as their eyes were widen comically. They couldn't believe their own ears, all the planning and effects of all these years were crushed into dust.

"Jongin.. You will work in Taehyung's position from now on. And you will be the owner of 10% share and as your legal spouse somin will own 5%.. The remaining 5% belongs to me.. And in my absence it will be transferred to Taehyung", he explained in finality.

Jungkook wanted to snort so bad but he held it in. They say karma is a bitch for a reason. And he was so pleased to see the crushed ego of the so-called oldest son of Kim's family.

"How can you be so unfair, dad?", jongin said in disbelief.

"You shouldn't be the one talking about unfairness, son... And be grateful I still gave you the share just because you are my blood or else I wouldn't have given you a single penny", hyunbin spat as he storming out of the living room.

Yejin walked up to taehyung and cupped his face before kissing his forehead, the younger didn't protest but tried his hardest to not acknowledge it.

"I love you so much, tae..", she whispered.

"It was a weird way of showing then, mom", taehyung said bitterly as he stared at the ground, yejin's heart broke again but she accepted her defeat weeks ago.

"I will be waiting for your forgiveness", she mumbled before walking away while wiping her tears.

"This isn't over", Jongin glared at taehyung for one last time and stormed out of the house as somin left to her room.

"This bitch", jungkook hissed and was about to run after him if not for taehyung hosting him up by his waist from behind.

"I will break his fucking jaw one day for sure", he cursed out loud and mingyu and taeri couldn't help but to chuckle at that.

"Woah woah! Calm down Bruce lee", taehyung joked to ease the situation and jungkook wanted to kick taehyung's ball and run after the older shit head.

Taehyung finally let jungkook go who huffed and calmed down.

Mingyu walked up to taehyung and hugged him patting his back firmly.

"I am so happy for you, brother.. You deserve this", he said smiling bashfully.

"Thank you, hyung", he sighed in contentment.

"Congratulations to you both", taeri said to the couple, smiling genuinely.

"Thank you", jungkook smiled at her knowing taehyung still wasn't ready enough to talk to her or forgive her.

"Hyung.. You guys should talk your differences out", jungkook suggested as mingyu nodded and taeri gave him a grateful look, before they left as well.

Taehyung then hugged jungkook tightly, spinning him around in the air who laughed at his silliness.

"Thank you so much, love.. For always being my back bone", he said overwhelmingly.

"You deserve the world, baby", jungkook cupped his face as they hugged again.
