Kim mansion was eerie silent in the morning. The house helps were doing their usual things but everyone was worried and curious to know what would happen next.

When yejin didn't come to make breakfast, thus Jiho cooked for everyone. She and along with Suzanne, took the initiative to wake everyone, as no one had dinner last night.

Yejin instructed them to send her and hyunbin's food in their room. The rest had food silently in the dining room before they left for work and somin got busy with jungmin.

It was nearly 10 a.m, when Taehyung descended down the stairs after he woke up late in the morning and straight away went to the kitchen.

Yejin was instructing something to the maids but stopped when she caught the sight of taehyung.

"Tae", she mumbled with a hint of hesitation in her features. She waited for usual warm greetings with a breathtaking smile from the younger but all she got was cold "Morning"..

"Aunt Jiho.. Can you please make something healthy and less spicy for Kook... You can ask eomma what would be better for his health, if you want", taehyung said politely earning a smile with a nod.

His heart was heavy and dying to talk to yejin like he usually does but he just couldn't bring himself to do so. And yejin was staring at him with hopeful glossy eyes but taehyung didn't spare her another glance.

He was about to walk out but jiho stopped him asking,

"What would you like to eat, master taehyung?",

"You can ask that to eomma too, because she knows what I love to eat", taehyung stated, glancing at yejin who had a visible guilty and hurt expression on her face before he left the kitchen.

"Are you alright, ma'am?", jiho asked sadly when she saw the rolling tears on yejin's face.

"Y-yeah..", yejin mumbled wiping her face.

"Make him some Japchae and jeonbokjuk (abalone porridge) would do for his husband", yejin said before walking away as well.

Days passed by and hyunbin and Yejin rarely came out of their room.

They didn't want to encounter the poor excuse of their older son and daughter and was too guilty to face taehyung.

Jongin tried his best to talk to Hyunbin but everytime Yejin would shut the door on his face.

Jungkook rarely came out of the room and whenever he did, just to walk around the garden in the evening to have some fresh air as it was good for his both physical and mental health, of course with taehyung beside him.bThey even have evening tea in the garden, savouring the time they spent together.

Hyunbin and yejin's room was just above the garden and they both noticed how happy both were together. They even saw them crying and consoling one another. Jungkook was a whole different person with taehyung and they witnessed the strong bond they shared with each other.

Other than evening, taehyung would just come out to grab meals because he felt bad for always calling Jiho or Jihoon or any other helps, for their chores. And jungkook wasn't supposed to use stairs that often.

Yejin would always wait for taehyung when he would take food, desperately wanting to talk but taehyung would just reply to her questions curtly and never once smiled.

"Tae, see I made your favorite desert.. You always loved it when you were a baby", yejin tried to sound a little excited, just to be dishearten when taehyung just took it without any words and left with the food tray.

"Will he ever forgive me?", yejin mumbled to herself, eyes filled with tears.

Taeri was coming towards the dinning and met with taehyung on the way, she tried to greet him but taehyung just passed by her without even sparing a glance.

She turned towards yejin with sad eyes but the older women scoffed before leaving as well. Taeri's heart was equally heavy, ever since the argument with her husband, mingyu stopped talking to her properly. He only answered if asked anything. She was really guilty for using harsh words to mingyu but even her apologies couldn't mend the damage it caused.

"Mom", taeri mumbled as she followed the older lady, wanting to talk to her. She felt so lonely, everyone started giving her cold shoulder. She really regrets for agreeing to whatever dirty jongin was planning.

"I am really sorry, mom", taeri said desperately, the older stopped but didn't turn around.

"I am not the one you should apologize to", saying that yejin walked away, leaving a teary eyed taeri behind.

"Did you see mom?", jungkook asked softly when he saw taehyung silently feeding him with a gloomy aura.

"Yeah", taehyung mumbled playing with the noodles.

"Do you want to talk to her?", jungkook asked grabbing the plate and keeping it aside before holding taehyung's hands in his.

"I really want to but at the same time I don't.. Whenever she tries to start a conversation all the past memories flash in my mind.. Guess, I need some time", taehyung sighed.

"You do.. Um! Do you want to move out, may be?", jungkook asked hesitantly.

Taehyung stared at their clasped hands before letting out a sigh.

"No... Not untill I get what I deserve..", taehyung looked up his soft eyes had a fierceness within it.

"This wealth.. This properties, belongs to my ancestors, koo.. And I am a kim.. I have a legal right over this wealth.. My future child have rights on it.. You have rights on it and I will take it no matter what.. If I leave now then it will be Jongin's win and I won't let that happen", taehyung stated firmly.

Jungkook stared at taehyung in amusement. He couldn't believe he would hear these words from his taehyungie one day. But he couldn't be more proud. Finally his baby understood his worth and capability and was ready to fight for himself and his own family. He was even thinking about his future kids and it was enough to swell jungkook's pride.

"I can start up from the beginning, if I want to but I won't at the moment.... Even if I ever plan on starting my own business I will do it after I achive my rightful wealth from my family, because that's my privilege of being a Kim..

Jongin has been playing dirty for the same reason then why can't I play fair for the same thing", taehyung exclaimed with a hint of determination in his voice.

Jungkook smiled before cupping his face,

"I am so proud of you..and remember what ever you decide I will always be by your side no matter what, alright", jungkook placed a lingering kiss on the older's forehead before joining it as they sighed in contentment.

"Now finish your lunch, you have medicines to take", taehyung fed jungkook and himself while having random conversation when they heard a knock on the door.

"Come in, jihoonie", jungkook hollard from inside thinking it was jihoon as he always comes to receive the plates.

The door opened revealing taeri and the couple was surprised seeing her in their room.

"Can we talk, please", she said hesitantly, playing with his own fingers.

"There is nothing to talk about and Jungkook needs rest at the moment", taehyung stated as he gave the medicines in his hand to jungkook who gulped it down returning the glass to taehyung.

"Please, tae bear", taeri pleaded which had taehyung to froze in his spot. She used to call him by the nickname when they were kids. He have no idea what went wrong between them.

Jungkook indeed was bitter because she was a part of the plan too, thus he couldn't bring himself to convince taehyung to talk. Well his personality won't let him, anyway.

"I think you lost the right to call me that.....years ago", taehyung mumbled while staring at the ground. Taeri shut her eyes at the painful voice of her little brother. She never in her felt so vulnerable.

"I am sorry, tae", taeri let out a chocked sob and taehyung turned around with his eyes shut, not wanting to see her crying desperately which might melt his already fast beating heart.

Jungkook held taehyung's arm in order to provide some comfort when he saw how hard it was for him to hold back and maintain his firm facade.

"I know whatever I did was soo wrong.. I.. I.. Don't know what to say or how to defend myself because there is nothing to defend..

You know I was always ambitious, may be that was the reason we grew apart because I was so busy forming my own life that I ignored yours.. Ignored you..

But trust me Tae.. I never knew jongin hyung would do such a thing with you.. He didn't tell me about not giving anything to you.. He just said he was trying to get more...

I might not make any sense...

But please Tae.. Forgive your noona for one last time.. This guilt is killing me..I beg you, please", taeri came forward to hold taehyung's arm but taehyung moved away, reluctantly, which broke the lady's heart even more.

Jungkook did feel bad a tiny bit but when he remembered taehyung's loud cries, his conscience scoffed at him, for even considering to talk to taehyung about the forgiveness. Whatever taehyung was doing, they deserve it.. They deserve more but he let taehyung decided what he wanted to do this time.

"What ever he said to you, isn't important.. You still did wrong to me, noona.. And I don't think I can forgive you this soon", taehyung mumbled still not looking at her.

"Tae bear.. Please", she cried out once again but taehyung didn't spare her a glance.

"Noona, I think you should go", jungkook mumbled, with a firm expression as he rubbed taehyung's arm.

"Jungkook, I am sorry to you too.. I know we never had a normal conversation but we kind of are similar when it comes to few things.. I never took your side even knowing you weren't wrong.. Forgive me, if possible", she apologized sincerely.

"I need time", jungkook mumbled with a sigh.

"I understand..", taeri nodded as she stared at taehyung with regretful eyes before leaving.

"Hey.. It's okay", jungkook muttered as taehyung hugged him tightly, buring his face in jungkook's neck finally letting his tears free.

"I am here..", jungkook whispered as he rubbed taehyung's back trying to calm him down.
