Jungkook POV
"You haven't changed much." He said and looked at me.
"Jimin." I whispered and even then, I didn't believe what I was seeing.
He smiled at me and walked towards the bed where Tae was lying and looked down at him. He picked his hand up and pressed a kiss on his knuckles and smiled down at him. He leaned down and moved a few strands of his hair out of his face and rested his small hand on Tae's cheek.
"You were never cut out for this life and I'm so sorry for ever having dragged you in it. I hope you can forgive me one day brother." He whispered and pressed a kiss against Tae's forehead and turned to me, who hadn't moved from my spot and just stared at him not believing what I was seeing.
"You look like you've seen a ghost." He said as he sat down on the sofa in the room and crossed his leg over the other.
"You have questions. Ask away." He said as he looked at Tae for a brief second before he looked back at me.
"Okay,I'll start. Yes I really am sitting here." He said as he kept his eye contact with me.
"How?" I asked when I finally found my voice again and watched him smile that sweet smile at me.
"It isn't impossible to fake your death you know." He said and shook his head at me as if it was the most simplest of things.
"How?"
"That's not what's important. I had to do it. I didn't even plan on ever coming back here, but when Tae got hurt, I had to. I couldn't leave my only brother to get hurt and not see if he was okay." He replied and leaned forward to look at me.
"I did it because it was the only way I could find out the truth. No one keeps their guard up for a dead man now do they?" He asked and raised his blond eyebrow at me.

"I've been investigating in the shadows for the past year, you'll be surprised how much you can actually find out when people think you're dead." He said as he shook his head and looked at me.
"The person behind all this has been your father all along." He said making me widen my eyes at him.
"Sure I had planned for Tae and you to meet, but under entirely different circumstances. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that he had hired Tae to be your body guard. He must have figured out somehow that he was my brother and tried to use him too." He said making me narrow my eyes at him.
"What do you mean use him too?" I asked and watched him sigh.
"When I first got here, I didn't just come here because I got the job. If you've read my letter then you know. I needed answers. I needed to know what happened to my father." he said. I narrowed my eyes, not at all understanding what he was saying.
"You see, our fathers were business partners way back before your Dad became the richest man in South Korea, but he didn't make all that money honestly. He killed and cheated innocent people. He did whatever he could to get to the top and when my father found out about it, he threatened to kill him and his family. I remember waking up one night when I was about nine and seeing my Dad packing his suitcase. He told me that he had to leave to keep my mom and I safe, and that he would come back when everything was okay. He told me then about my little brother Taehyung that he used to visit once a year and told me that I had to protect him no mater what." He said as he looked at Tae on the bed and turned back to me.
"Your father has been trying to kill you since you were born." He said making me narrow my eyes at what he was saying mainly because nothing made sense.

"Your father had to work his way up because your grandfather has promised him to only give him his fortune when he earned it. Once your grandfather died, and the will was brought out, he had left everything to you, valuing to almost half of South Korea's empire. All of it was trusted and spread out around the world , including a portion which he entrusted to my father, until you became of age and turned twenty one." He said and looked at me while I tried to understand what he was saying.
"Your father on many occasions had tried to get me to tell him where my father was, and even I don't know. I knew he was up to something when he made contact with Tae, and the only way I could protect you both was from the shadows." He said and got up. He walked across to me and knelt down on the ground before me.
"Your father is a ruthless man that uses manipulation and blood to get what he wants. I had always believed that you were the same until I met you. Jungkook, you are nothing like your father. You are pure and goodness and that is why he fears you so much. He will do whatever he can to bring the darkness he thrives on into your soul. And he uses those closest to you to do it. You need to be strong now more than ever. " he said as he reached up and wiped away the tears that were flowing down my cheeks.
"Not only for yourself, but for Taehyung. He needs you now more than ever. He needs the strong Jungkook he fell in love with." He said making me choke on a sob.
"He hurt him Jimin. He hurt him so badly. He took everything from him." I said as I sniffed and sobbed as I looked down.
"I know. And we're going to make the son of a bitch pay for it." He said as he held my face in his hands and pressed a kiss on forehead.
I choked on a sob and pressed my head against his stomach as I cried, feeling him hold onto me tightly.
"I missed you." I whispered and looked up into those eyes I thought I would never see again.
"I missed you too." He replied and smiled as he wiped my tears away.
"You and my brother huh." He said making me chuckle as I turned to look at Tae sleeping soundly on the bed.
"He really is something else isn't he?" I asked as I smiled and looked at him.
"He really is. I couldn't ask for a better person than you to hold his heart." He replied making me smile as I kept my gaze on Taehyung.
"I love him so much Jimin. So much it hurts." I said as I looked back at Jimin who was looking at me with a smile on his face.
"I know. And he loves you too. Although, if you hurt him, I'll take your left ball for it." He said making me laugh and shake my head.
"I would die before I ever hurt him. He means so much more to me than my own life." I replied and smiled at Jimin.
"Good. And as much as I enjoyed this catching up moment, we have your father's ass to kick. It's a good thing I brought some friends." He said making me raise my eyebrow as the door opened and a few rough looking guys walked in.
I was going to make my father pay for touching what was mine.
