《True Love [BxB] (Unedited)》Chapter 11

Taehyung POV
"I'll train him"
I have no idea why, but it felt as though my life had been signed with that one sentence.
Jin nodded and placed his hand on my shoulder for a second before he left and closed the door behind him, leaving us in total silence.
All that could be heard was the sound of him clicking his gun and filling the bullets.
"Are you drunk?" He asked with his back faced towards me.
"Uh no, sir" I replied and placed my hands behind my back in the usual position awaiting an order.
"Good. Come here" he said to which I complied, mainly because this was the most he had spoken to me in the past month.
He handed me a gun and pointed towards the target. I raised my eyebrow at him, not understanding what he was saying when he let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Shoot the damn thing"
I nodded and held the gun up, which was way heavier than it looked, and pulled the trigger. I closed my eyes due to the force of the bullet and opened them once again only to find the bullet next to the target and no where near it.
I heard Jungkook sigh as he pressed a button causing a new target sheet to advance and replace the old one. He walked towards me and looked at me for a second before he walked and stood behind me.
I gasped out loud when he placed his hand on my stomach and pulled me back slightly so that my back was pressed against his chest.
"Relax. Hold the gun up" he said as he placed his hand over mine and lifted it up in line with the target.
"Focus. Don't think about the weight of the gun, think about what you want to annihilate " he whispered against my ear sending goosebumps across my skin and I could feel myself slowly begin to tremble at his close proximity.

"I said focus." He whispered once more making me nod since I had absolutely no idea what to say.
I might have always gave off the aura that I knew everything about anything, when in reality I had only intimate with someone once and that one time sucked too. I had no idea what to do and I was almost certain that I ended up hurting the guy more than pleasuring him.
And for some odd reason, having Jungkook this close to me was very intimidating. I wasn't sure if it was because of the look in his eyes or if it was because of the playboy rumors that floated around.
He was the type of person to fuck and leave and everyone knew that.
So why was I feeling this way?
He moved his hands down and placed them on my hips causing me to clench my fists. He gripped my hips and brought his face closer to the area between my neck and shoulder. I could feel his breath near my ear and held my breath, not wanting to do anything stupid.
"Shoot"
I didn't hesitate this time and pressed the trigger and widened my eyes when I saw the hole in the middle of the target.
"Keep practicing like that and you'll get it." He said as he let go off me and stepped back.
Suddenly I felt this wave if coldness engulf me when I didn't feel his arms anymore. I let out my breath and inhaled and exhaled as I nodded attempted to try again.
I spent the rest of the night, or well morning, that way. Trying to shoot a damn gun with my nerves all over the place and the fact that he was standing behind me leaning against the wall, staring holes into me, was not helping me one bit.
I turned around for a brief second and looked at him looking back at me. I swallowed at his intense stare and narrowed my eyes when I took in his exhausted appearance.

He honestly looked so tired and I couldn't understand why he would want to waste his time training me when he could be resting.
I knew he had been busy this past week with the investigations on who else was involved with the drug shipments that continued to go missing. He hadn't gotten much sleep lately and before I would be allowed to be help since I was his bodyguard, but lately it seemed as though he didn't want me near him for reasons that remained unknown to me.
"Are you okay?" I asked as I placed the gun on the table and looked at him.
"I'm fine. Continue" he replied making me sigh and turn around to pick up the gun.
Would it kill him to trust me just a little bit?
I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard a loud thud making me immediately turn around and widen my eyes when I saw him laying on the floor. I rushed towards him and shook him, shocked to find him burning up.
He should have just said he wasn't feeling well!
I moved him a bit and picked him up, actually surprised that he wasn't as heavy as I thought he'd be. I carried him and walked towards the elevator where I stepped in and leaned against the wall of the elevator while it moved up. I could feel him shivering slightly as he gripped my shirt and buried his face in my chest.
I carried him until I reached the floor of his bedroom where I kicked the door open and walked until I reached the foot of his bed. I gently laid him down and let out sigh.
I removed his shoes and took in his flushed complexion as he breathed unevenly and moved his head from one side to the other. I bent down and slowly began to unbutton his shirt. I stopped when I reached the last button and withdrew my hands from him.
Should I even be doing this?
There was nothing perverted about what I was doing. I mean the guy was clearly running a fever and was too stubborn to admit it resulting in his actually fainting!
I shook my head and removed his shirt slowly. I proceed to unbuckle his pants and removed them as well leaving him in just his boxer. I took a second to look at him, taking in his true beauty.
His body wasn't over muscular nor was he skinny but rather he had just the right amount of muscle on him.
I could feel my body aching to touch his and it took every ounce of self control in me not to act on what I wanted to do and instead I walked to the bathroom and grabbed a hand towel and warm bowl of water.
I wiped his body down and avoided areas I knew he would be uncomfortable with. When I was done, I pulled the covers over him and was about to leave when he suddenly grabbed my wrist.
"Don't go"
He whispered making me widened my eyes to see if he had been awake this entire time, but he was fast asleep and if I didn't know any better, I'd say he was having a nightmare with the way he kept on turning and saying he was
"sorry" for something.
I placed the bowl next to the bed and opened the covers slightly. I removed my shoes and slowly climbed in. I felt him immediately move closer to me and wrap his arm around my waist as he laid his head against my chest.
I placed my arm around him and felt how hot his body was. I ran my fingers through his hair and placed a kiss against his forehead as I whispered..
"You don't have to pretend anymore."

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
