Taehyung POV
"Is that all?" I asked to which the customer nodded and handed me the bills.
I thanked him and took his change out of the cash register and counted it once more time before handing it to him.
"It's okay, keep the change" he said and winked at me while he added sugar to his coffee.
"Are you sure?" I asked again just in case he didn't actually know that his change was large sum.
"Oh I'm sure" he said as he took his coffee and placed a napkin on the counter.
I looked down at the napkin and saw that he had scribbled his number on it which made the whole tip thing make sense now.
"Give me a call cutie" he said as he smiled and walked out.
Me? Cutie? Please. I could fuck him till he forgot what his name was.
I thought and smirked as I threw the napkin into the trash can and let out a sigh as I rubbed the back of my neck. I honestly felt like I was about to drop at any second.
I had pulled two shifts since one of the workers had called in sick, and although the work was double, it also meant double the money and I could honestly use that right now with the new medication my mother's doctor had her on.
I checked the wall clock which read one thirty am, and sighed once more as I bent down to grab the cleaning materials beneath the counter when I heard the bell above the front door ring, indicating that another customer had walked in making me groan.
Just when I thought I was done for the night.. or well morning.
"What can I get you sir?" I asked as I wiped the counter not looking at the man who walked in.

The reason I knew it was a man was mainly due to the strong expensive cologne he was wearing.
"Two double espressos please." He said making me look up at him when I heard his voice. It was such a sweet voice, not that of a man's.
"Sure. Anything else?" I asked as I walked to the machine and got out the cups.
I added the coffee mixture and waited as the machine filled the two cups, feeling the man's eyes on me as I did so.
"What have you got at this hour?" He asked making me chuckle.
"Honestly. Nothing. Everything's sold out" I said as I placed the lids on top of the cups and watched him smile.
"Then why'd you ask?" He asked as he leaned against the counter and raised his eyebrow.
"Well I suppose I was going to whip up something if you asked" I shrugged and handed him the cups. He handed me the bills to which I thanked him and gave him his change.
"What's your name?" He asked as he sipped his coffee and looked at me.
"Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. And yours?" I asked as I moved to clean off the rest of the table.
"Seokjin." He replied, omitting his last name making me narrow my eyes.
I shrugged it off as probably something personal he didn't want to share and I mean who was I to pry?
"What time do you get off?" He asked to which I turned around and smirked at him.
"Is that your way of asking me out?" I replied and watched him smile a seductive smile.
"No. It's a genuine question" he said as he chuckled and took another sip of his coffee.
"Well then. I get off at different times, now I'm sure the person you bought that coffee for probably wants to drink it while it's still hot" I said and watched him smirk back at me.

"It was nice to meet you Taehyung." He said as he walked out of the shop.
God, why are all the good looking ones taken?
I shook my head as I wiped off the rest of the tables and cleaned up which took me another hour. I wiped my forehead and closed up the cafe, looking at my watch which now read two thirty am. I mentally calculated the time it would take me to walk to the station just in case I missed the subway.
I decided to take a brisk walk since I had almost an hour before the next train, which only came at around three thirty am, arrived.
I opened my red bull and took a long sip as I walked towards the station, feeling that same feeling I always felt when I thought someone was watching me. I stopped walking and slowly turned around, seeing no one out of the ordinary except for a few people walking about, but none looking suspicious.
I turned back around and continued my walk, though the feeling did not subside, if anything it only increased, which made me walk faster until I came to the stairway of the station, thankful that it was slightly crowded with the morning crowd of people who worked in the town.
I sat down on the bench and drank the last of my red bull and crushed the can before I threw it in the trash. I leaned my head against the wall and let out a sigh as I closed my eyes for a few seconds, which must have been more because the next thing I knew, there was an elderly lady shaking me to tell me the train had arrived.
I thanked her and grabbed my backpack, waiting for the doors of the train to open. I payed my fee and went to my usual seat where I slumped down and closed my eyes, hoping to get sleep during the next half an hour since that was all the sleep I was going to get for today.
I plugged in my headphone and listened to the song I had been listening to for the past few months. The song that reminded me of him since it was the only thing I had of him.
I swallowed the lump in my throat, forcing myself to become stronger and not break down like I did before, but no matter how hard I tried, the tears till found their way out of my closed sockets and down my cheeks. I sniffed and wiped my nose with the sleeve of my hoodie and wiped away my tears.
I had to be strong. He wanted me to be strong and strong is what I will be.
