《True Love [BxB] (Unedited)》Chapter 1

Jungkook stood in the rain, his grip firm on the trigger he was holding as each member of The Heartless Dragon stood by and watched. Almost as if they were waiting in anticipation for him to make a mistake.
He tried with every fiber of his being, to hold it all in and not break as he looked down at the man he came to love. The man who brought about all these foreign feelings within him and made him want to feel something else. Something other than the thirst of power and blood he had always known and been taught. The man kneeling before him with his eyes closed, fully accepting his fate.
"Why?" Jungkook asked in a whisper as the rain droplets passed his lips and rolled down his chin.
For as long as the man knew Jungkook, he had always been in pain despite the strong and powerful image he tried to portray to others, in hopes of them fearing him, it was him that would always see through that. It was him who would always hold him and kiss and tell him that he wasn't as evil as everyone thought he was. It was him who made him feel like he was worth something. It was him who made him feel like he could be loved.
Jungkook never would have ever suspected that his very Jimin was the one plotting to kill him all along. He wondered if, during those times when Jimin laid against his chest and told him how much he loved him, with their naked bodies tangled in each other after a blissful night of passion, were those all lies as well?
"Why!" Jungkook repeated again, this time screaming it out as he fought the pain inside his chest.
Jimin opened his eyes slightly and looked up, into the eyes of the man above him. The man who ruled the most dangerous mafia with an iron fist. The man ready to end his life and as much as he wanted to hate him for everything he had done to his family ruthlessly, even when the latter wouldn't even remember, he just couldn't.

He should hate the man with every fiber of his being. He should feel nothing for what he had done, what he had done for his family, and yet, seeing Jungkook with so much pain in his eyes almost made Jimin tell him the truth. But he couldn't, at least not now when so many traitors were watching.
He had to protect him, even if it was at the cost of his life. Just as he had swore the say he became a member of The Heartless Dragon.
He would protect his master with his own life.
Jimin looked up and smiled as the rain rolled down his face and made his perfect lips that Jungkook loved so much, blue due to the extreme cold. He looked at the man he loved more than himself, committing every feature to his memory for the last time.
He could not be more content knowing that the last thing he would see was the love of his life. If only he could kiss him one more time and show him through that, the love he had for him, but he knew how dangerous that would be, with all the members watching and waiting for Jungkook to make a mistake.
"You're unlovable." He uttered. Feeling his own heart rip to shreds by that one lie.
Jungkook, who up until now, had not believed what his men had told him about Jimin's betrayal, felt as though the very breath had left his body. Even as he could feel his anger building up inside him, he had hoped that what he was hearing was not true.
His hand began to shake and his grip on the trigger loosened about to fall to the ground. He would have surely fell to the ground too if it wasn't for Jimin's eyes staring into his, giving him the strength he needed, even if it was to end the latter's life.

Jungkook felt the tears gather in his eyes, something he had never done in his entire life before. He pushed them back as far as he could, grateful for the rain camouflaging them.
He raised his hand and closed his eyes, unable to bring himself to see the love of his life die by his own hand, and pressed the trigger. He heard the sound of a gun shot fill the air around him, loud enough to echo and he clenched his eyes shut. He could hear the faint sound of someone choking on their own blood, and he clenched his fists and opened his eyes slightly to see Jimim holding his throat as his blood poured out of his mouth.
Even then, he hadn't broken eye contact with him even as he was choking to death on his own blood. It seemed as though, he wanted Jungkook to know he was okay.
Jungkook, stood there, frozen in his spot, unable to comprehend and believe what he had just done. Even as Jimin was clearly dying, Jungkook still couldn't move.
Jimin stretched out his bloodied hand towards Jungkook for a second before he fell to the ground. He coughed and choked up more blood before he smiled faintly and closed his eyes, breathing his last.
Jungkook's lower lip quivered as he tried to contain his composure in front of his men and seniors. Trying to live by their life code.
Show no weakness.
Even in death, Jimin managed to look as beautiful and angelic as ever. To such an extent, no one could compare to his beauty. It was one of the things that attracted Jungkook to him in the beginning.
Jungkook dropped the gun as he let out a shaky breath, when the reality of his sin had finally dawned upon him. He felt as though he too had died along with Jimin. He felt his body weakening to the point of collapsing if it wasn't for a strong grip on his shoulder, holding him in place.
He turned his teary gaze and locked eyes with his most trusted friend Kim Seokjin, leader of the Kim Group.
Seokjin squeezed his shoulder, letting him know that he was not alone in this.
Jungkook kept his gaze on Seokjin as the members came and took Jimin's body away, to be sent off to his distant family as per the latter's last request.
As much as he wanted to, he couldn't bring himself to look at Jimin's body. Not after what he had done.
"Look. You will regret it for the rest of your life if you don't" Seokjin whispered.
Jungkook clenched his fists once more and slowly turned his head, watching as they carried a lifeless Jimin in the rain. He thought back to how lively and alive Jimin had been just days ago. How he would laugh for things that were not even funny, how he would alway try and make everyone laugh, or how he would get upset and yell when the other members told him his hands were too small to hold a gun.
Jungkook felt his heart break even more when the realization dawned upon him that he would never hear Jimin's laughter again. That he would never hold him and tell him that he loved him.
That Jimin was truly gone.
