Ji Ling sat at the dining table as the twins played on the floor in front of her. "Oh? You're back? I thought you had run away for good."
Razor pursed his lips. Allowing Mei and Liu to run up to him and hug his legs. "Razor!" Liu giggled, before running into his room to grab something for the boy.
Mei made grabby hands and Razor picked her up. As much as he wanted to play with the children, Bennett was still waiting for him outside.
Razor took Mei with him into his room and placed her on the bed while he looked in his closet for a picnic basket he had.
He wanted to watch the sunset with Bennett and have dessert together. It was a bit of a last minute plan but he hoped Bennett wouldn't mind.
He placed a neatly folded blanket inside and exited his room to go into the kitchen, Mei following him close behind as she had missed him and wanted another hug from him.
Liu returned and handed Razor a crumpled piece of paper.
Razor took it from the boy and smiled, patting the top of Liu's head. It was a drawing of Razor that Liu was probably ecstatic to show.
"Heading out already?" Ji Ling asked in annoyance.
Razor realized what he was doing and pocketed the drawing from Liu before opening the fridge and taking out the desserts he had hidden from Ji Ling as she barely opened the fridge to cook.
With a sigh he closed the basket and approached the front door to leave, pinching Liu's cheek gently and ruffling Mei's hair, causing them both to giggle and run away.
He left and saw Bennett was still seated outside,"Benny."
Bennett looked up from his phone and smiled,"Hi." He looked down at saw the picnic basket,"Oh? A picnic?"

"Yes. Let's go." Razor grabbed Bennett's hand, pulling the boy to his feet.
"Where?" Bennett asked.
"Surprise." Razor kissed back of Bennett's hand as they walked towards the bus stop.
Bennett blushed,"How are you so romantic?" Razor looked down at him in confusion.
"What?" He asked.
"You just.. it's.." Bennett looked down shyly,"Everything you do just makes me shy."
Razor looked up at the sky, trying his best to not freak out at how cute Bennett was being. "I can stop." Razor teased.
"Don't." Bennett looked up quickly, not realizing that Razor was teasing him.
"Why?" He asked.
"I don't d-dislike it." Bennett spoke, tripping on a sidewalk crack only to quickly be stabilized by a smirking Razor."Are you teasing me?" Bennett whined.
"Yes. Sorry." Razor apologized with a laugh.
Bennett only flushed with embarrassment. "Not nice." He muttered getting onto the bus with Razor. He sat down at his usual window seat and Razor sat next to him.
"Won't do it again."
"O-only the teasing part. I like the kisses." Bennett clarified.
Razor nodded, squeezing Bennett's hand gently.
"Wait.. this is the route back to my house." He looked out the window,"Aw.. I don't want to go back home yet.. I wanna spend more time with you.." He frowned.
Razor wordlessly stood up, helping Bennett out of his seat and off the bus. He walked with Bennett in the opposite direction of Bennett's house.
Bennett just walked with Razor, completely confused until he saw their destination.
"The meadow?" He asked.
Razor nodded, taking them to a cleared out spot and placing his picnic blanket down.
"Surprise~" Razor spoke.
Bennett looked at the male in a bit of awe, mainly because Razor had never spoken with a cheery tone to his voice before.
"Awe~ what's this?"
"Well we only had a late-ish lunch so let's have some dessert." Razor suggested, opening the picnic basket and pulling out a cake.

"When did you have time to get this?" Bennett looked at him in confusion.
"I ordered last night, then had it delivered to my house today when we both went home to change for our date." Razor explained, taking out two forks and two cups.
"You're really good at this whole boyfriend thing." Bennett sighed."I'll try to be better too."
Razor shook his head,"You're already good to me."
"Next time I'm planning out a day for the two of us." Bennett spoke with determination.
"Okay." Razor responded, smiling at Bennett. "Cake?"
"Yes please." Bennett spoke, scooting closer to his boyfriend as they ate together. Razor brought a forkful of chocolate cake up to Bennett's mouth for the boy, while Bennett did the same for him.
When they were both full and satisfied Bennett decided to rest his head on Razor's shoulder, finding himself half asleep. Razor covered the both of them in a wool blanket.
"Don't sleep yet." Razor murmured.
"Not asleep." Bennett whispered.
"Your eyes are closed." He added.
"No." Bennett opened them just in time to see the sun start to set. "Oh it's pretty."
"You're pretty."
Bennett hid his face in his hands, snuggling closer to Razor,"You're pretty too." Bennett spoke softly.
"Yeah?" Razor looked down at Bennett, tilting the boy's chin upward so Bennett would look into his eyes.
"Y-yes." He whispered.
"Two pretty people.. they should kiss." Razor murmured.
Bennett immediately got the hint and closed the space in between him and Razor. Razor wrapped an arm around Bennett's waist and pulled the boy into his lap, not breaking the kiss.
Bennett finally pulled away to breathe, looking into Razor's eyes.
"Hi." Bennett spoke.
Razor kissed Bennett's neck, causing Bennett to giggle,"That tickled."
"Hi." Razor spoke, hugging Bennett tightly.
"Thank you for today." Bennett spoke.
"It's nothing Benny. But did you enjoy our first date?"
"Very very much." He answered.
"I have one last surprise." Razor reached into his sweater pocket and pulled out a tiny box.
Bennett looked down at it in confusion,"What's this?"
"Open it." Razor handed it to Bennett and the boy pulled out a neat golden bracelet. "Oh! Razor.." He looked back at his boyfriend,"This looks expensive." He frowned.
Razor shook his head. "Wear it."
Bennett reluctantly put it on. He looked down at it and saw how detailed it was. The gold chain had rota calamitas, Bennett's constellation, engraved in it.
"This is so pretty.." He looked up at his boyfriend with teary eyes,"Razor.."
"I meant to give it to you that first night in the hotel.. but I confessed to you instead."
"Razor..." Bennett whined, eyes tearing up.
"Don't cry.." Razor cupped Bennett's face.
"Can't help it." Bennett sniffed before hugging Razor tightly. "I really like it." He smiled through his tears.
"I'm glad you do." Razor responded,"And it doesn't break easily, so don't worry about that."
"Thank you." Bennett whispered, hugging his boyfriend tightly.
"You're welcome Benny."
"Wow." Bennett wiped his tears away," I have to try and outdo you when it's time for our second date."
"I'm sure you will." Razor responded, kissing all over Bennett's face.
"Oh don't kiss my face~" Bennett squeezed his eyes shut,"I'm sure it tastes like tears." He giggled.
"Well.. they're your tears. So they taste good."
Bennett looked up at Razor in surprise.
"Weird?" Razor asked.
"A bit."
The two males burst out laughing, cuddling under the starry night sky as they kissed and held each other.

The watcher of universe and stuff.
The most devastating thing to an eternal being must be boredom. If nothing can change you, how can you yourself change? Sometimes you have to learn that the hard way. I should point out that there are multiple lead characters and they will all have their own personalities and motivations. While the story will focus more on our MC Trey, you can expect multiple POV switches. If you do not like POV switches, this might not be for you. My first book. If anyone will ever read this, be so kind as to leave a comment. Even, if all you say is an insult. As long as I can improve this work by your comment, it's all fine. One thing’s for sure. I will keep writing as if my reader can handle curse words without curling into a little ball and repeatedly saying: "Leave my safe-space alone, you monster". Therefore, you can expect some profanity.
