The next day, Bennett and Razor sat in their seats, casually conversing through text.
"Alright class," Mr.Albedo spoke as he entered the room,"I need to collect everyone's permission slips and funds."
Razor and Bennett brought out their things, sharing a subtle shy look with each other.
"Sucrose could you please collect everyone's forms and cash." Mr.Albedo asked,"Please separate the cash and the slips."
The girl nodded, standing up and walking down the rows to collect everything while Mr.Albedo organized his materials for the class.
Sucrose placed the items on the table and Mr.Albedo began teaching. "Alright class, let's begin."

Bennett followed Razor to the cafeteria after class ended, "I brought you something by the way."
Razor lifted an eyebrow.
"I baked it yesterday." He showed Razor his arms and fingers which had a few tiny bruises and scratches,"I made a few mistakes."
"Hurts?" Razor asked with a small frown.
Bennett shook his head,"..Well actually, the bruises hurt a bit but it'll be fine in a few days."
Razor just sighed, wrapping an arm around Bennett's shoulders and pulling the male with him into the line.
"But honestly this went really well, I didn't get any burns~" Bennett spoke,"Also my dads were there to help."
The two boys got to the front of the line and ordered their usual foods.
"Should we enjoy it with our lunch?" Bennett asked.
Razor shrugged.
"Okay I'll be right back, I want to see your reaction." Bennett placed his food beside Razor and left their spot to go grab the dessert.

I hope Razor enjoys it.. Bennett thought, walking excitedly down the hall and bumping into a student. "Oh sorry-"
"Ugh you." The boy rolled his eyes and rushed off quickly.
Bennett grimaced. Why do they still treat me like this? He huffed, entering the classroom and grabbing the dessert box from his bag carefully.
Bennett was about to skip towards Razor but he realized that might not be the best idea, given his clumsiness and constant misfortune.
"Okay I'm back." Bennett sat down in front of his friend and presented the box to him.
Razor looked through the clear plastic at a cupcake decorated with vanilla frosting and chocolate shavings as well as a thin chocolate shard which had been shaped weirdly.
Bennett blushed,"I uh.. I tried sculpting you with the chocolate, but it kept breaking."
"Cute." Razor spoke.
Bennett looked at the grass nervously,"The cupcake?"
Razor lied to Bennett with a nod. He meant Bennett was cute, but he didn't want to make things awkward like last time.
"Okay try it." Bennett spoke with an eager smile, handing Razor a plastic fork from the cafeteria.
Razor opened the box carefully and took a small piece of the cupcake off with the fork, noticing that the cupcake was chocolate.
"Eat it~" Bennett asked cutely.
Razor put it into his mouth warily, surprised by the sweet and delicious flavor.
"Is it good?" Bennett asked, leaning close. "I didn't try it yesterday."
Razor took another piece off and held the fork up to Bennett's lips, "Share?"
"I- O-okay." He put his mouth around the fork and ate the cake.
Razor gave Bennett a thumbs up.
"Oh it is good." Bennett clapped,"I should bake more-"
Razor shook his head, pointing to Bennett's fingers.

"That was because of the chocolate art" He whined.
Razor ruffled Bennett's hair, taking another piece of cake and eating it. ..Indirect kiss.. Razor thought, feeling a bit guilty for the thought.
He blushed softly.
"I'm really glad it came out well." Bennett smiled."

The two boys finished their lunch and returned to the classroom together, only to realize how silent the classroom was.
Bennett shrunk into himself slightly with all the eyes on him, while Razor slightly moved to stand in front of him.
"What?" Bennett asked softly.
"You stole the trip money." A boy spoke.
"What?"
"Someone said they saw you in the hallway during lunch, which is when it went missing."
"I-I didn't steal anything."
"Oh yeah? What were you doing here?"
"I went to grab a dessert I made for Razor." He frowned.
"Then you wouldn't mind if we checked your bag right?" Sucrose asked.
"No. Not at all." Bennett spoke.
Two students narrowed their eyes at Bennett, moving to grab his bag and look through it roughly. Dropping papers and pencils on the floor as they searched.
"Look it's right there!" Kuro pointed.
Bennett froze,"What?!"
"That's the envelope with all the cash." Sucrose spoke.
Bennett shook his head,"I didn't put that there."
Mr.Kaeya sighed,"Bennett come with me."
Bennett felt like crying,"I-I didn't do this."
"Let's discuss it in the teacher's office Bennett."
Razor frowned. He was sure that Bennett wouldn't do such a thing. "Bennett didn't do it." He spoke.
A few students widened their eyes at the sudden voice.
"Was that Razor..?" A girl asked.
"Wait he said Bennett didn't do it." A boy responded, skeptically.
Bennett finally looked up to see a student who was looking away. He pointed to the boy,"I-it was you! The door was already opened when I entered! You were leaving!"
Kuro's eyes widened and he turned to his group of friends before turning back to Bennett,"N-no-!"
"Now that I think about it.. I didn't see Kuro at lunch on time.. he came late." Noelle spoke.
Kaeya sighed,"Alright, Kuro come with Bennett and I."
"It was all Bennett!" Kuro spoke.
"Let's go." Kaeya glared at the boy, directing him out of the classroom.
A few students were still gawking at Razor. "So he can speak?"
Razor glared at them and went to pick up Bennett's items which had been strewn across the floor when they looked through his bag.
Annoying.
"..Why would Kuro do that?" Noelle whispered.
"He hates Bennett.. but I never thought he would go this far." Lumine spoke.
"Why does he hate Bennett?"Aether asked.
"Not sure." Noelle added,"But he really didn't want to see Bennett during the class trip."
Razor gritted his teeth with anger before unclenching his jaw and trying to let it go. Bennett wouldn't want him to lash out.
With a sigh, Razor sat down at his desk with his head down.

World Step (Rewrite)
This is a rewrite of my story World Step. Though, in reality, this is my first serious draft. The shadows grow deeper on the planet of Whorrl even as a dark, and ancient ritual takes place within the depths of The Abyssal Mouth—a chasm of both fortune and calamity. The story follows Quintin, a Grandmaster Martial Artist from Earth, as unforeseen elements conspire against him from the depths of space. *No Harem *Strong MC, but by no means does he go through enemies without injury or at least learning something. *Throw on [Horror], and possibly [Psychological] elements. *Dark Fantasy with some [Grimdark] leanings. Notes: this will be a place where I endeavor to rewrite and fix issues. With that in mind, expect revisions, edits, and other things of that nature.

The Thaumatist Incident
The towers fell over a century ago, and the Good King united the land. Under his voice the Thaumatists took the knee or took the sword. The University still stands, but for how long? This story is broken up into two parts. Chronologically, the two parts overlap. Part One Emile, a girl with a Talent not seen since the good king's war as she tries to find help to save her beloved father from a cruel accident. Julie, raised in a small farming village on her quest to become someone people will sing about. Part Two Wendel, a recent graduate of the University, an intense school that functions first as a police force to control the use of magic and secondly as an educational institution. Demetrius, a servant at the school who loses his home and his safety. Edits are ongoing. Reviews and comments will only help the editing the process, and I am grateful for any and all input. So, if you have been reading already, Jericho has been removed. It's been brought to my attention that his chapters detract from the flow of the narrative. They still exist, and are still going to be made available at some point in some way shape or form, but for the time being what happens with him and the king in Puissant city will be off camera so to speak.

Shadows in the Dawn Mist
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - Winner November 2020 When a young woman is lured back to her homeland for the opportunity of a life time, she must face old fears. But never would she think that facing up to her past would change everything. Is History written by the victors, or by someone or something else...? *** I started writing this a few years ago and eventually fell out of love with it. I never finished it and my newer books are being written in different writing style, and genre with a more planned process. I decided to revisit it for the writathon and found that it wasn't as hopeless as I'd come to think. Hopefully, I've improved as a writer since them so the consistency may vary. Its been good to revisit and analyse my writing which I feel used to have some clunky and obvious dialogue which I'm trying to fix. This will always be my first novel and I hope, with a little exposure, I may come to like it again. Thanks for reading!

Earth's First Dungeon
Reginald Montgomery was a high class Rules Lawyer, specializing in the 'art' of Min-Maxing a Character. He had been the secret behind the ability of the Guild 'Eternal Gamer' being able to obtain the World First Clears of various MMOs for the last five years. The political entities of the world had hidden the imminent approach of a gigantic meteor, of similar size to the one that theoretically wiped out the dinosaurs, until it was able to be spotted by high powered astronomical telescopes. The United Nations sends nukes into a crater located deep on the meteor, breaking it into millions of smaller fragments, except for around two areas, where there was a building that looked like an old school Roman temple and one where there was a giant metallic cube. The cube crashed into Reginald's backyard, and his 'gamer' senses were itching at the chance of supremely valuable loot. Upon investigating, he is injected with a control crystal for a 'Construction Core', but when it releases an extremely high density of pressurized mana, his body seizes up and the Core draws his mind into it before merging the control crystal back into the Core and retreating into the Cube and digging itself deeper. Two months later, Reginald becomes aware again, only to find out that nothing is as it was and he is now the Earth's First Dungeon...
