《Shades Of Red | RaNnett》Part 10 (2/4): An Invitation

"So Razor, who do you think we should go to first?" "Razor think... go everyone... slow... maybe if gather... fast." "I think I get what you're trying to say, we should just gather everyone in one place and announce it at once. Great idea, puppy." "Razor wolf, not puppy." "But you're as cute as one. H- hey!" He pounced at me and started tickling me, he could get naughty too.
After that, we talked out our plan of action, how we were gonna gather everyone, what reason, place, time, all that stuff. We had a plan in the end, but it was gonna take a few days to set up.
A few days passed, and the venue was set, everything was perfect, and all I needed was my bad luck to not mess things up.
"Razor..." "Hmm?" "Do you... care about my bad luck?" "Why care? Razor think very in... interes..." "Interesting?" "Yes." "Really?" "Razor no lie." "Ok..."
I went back into my room, and wrote letter after letter, all with an invitation to the event. The oil lamp dimly shined on my desk, while the rest of the room was pitch black. Even though Razor was here, the house remained silent, I peeked outside the room and saw the pup lying on the couch, snoring away. I smiled, told myself to join him after I finished writing, and went back.
The next day, I had Razor read over some invitations. After his approval, we set off. I did trip a few times, but apparently, Razor started bringing bandages along with him. We left our letters in everyone's letterbox and hopefully didn't get their address wrong.
"Do you think this'll work?" "Of course, Benny."

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me.
