《Shades Of Red | RaNnett》Part 9: Under the Tree

'Bye... Bennett.' 'I'll... be alright... Ra... zor...' 'Oh. Bennett go Good Hunter. Cathedral. Out.' 'Oh... okay...' Those were the last words we said before parting, I wonder why he wanted me to go there, probably to make me explain my cuts. *sigh* Typical Razor, always caring a little too much about others, and not letting them go until he's sure that they'll be 100% safe.
Can't believe I actually thought I had a chance with such a caring, loving, innocent, and perfect wolf boy. I really am oblivious. Knowing my luck, anyone who I might like would end up hating me. At least, Razor isn't leaving me, yet.
"BENNETT!" a pair of arms wrap me in a firm hug. "Ra- Razor, hi. Umm... could you like, not hug me that tight, its kinda hard to breathe and-" As he let go, a kid ran past us which took me by surprise and I started to fall.
My head was a grain of sand away from the floor when I was caught by Razor, we locked eyes for a moment, and I quickly turned my head around. "Thanks, Razor." My face started to heat up, 'Not the time, snap out of it,' I thought, trying to go back to reality.
"So, why did you wanna come here?" I asked trying to break the tension. Razor led me to a seat and asked, "Order?" I was shocked by this, as the wolf boy, he would normally avoid contact with others, what happened to him? "Razor?" "Yes?" "Do you have a... fever?" I was genuinely concerned, I put my palm on his forehead, checking if his temperature was normal, he was fine but I could swear I saw him blush.
"I'll do the ordering, Razor. The usual?" "O- okay." His voice trailed off at the end, he seemed s- sad? Disappointed? Yeah, he's acting weird. I got our food and placed it on our table, a plate of Matatsuke Meat Rolls for Razor, and a Sweet Madame for me. "Dig in," I said, and immediately Razor devours the meat rolls one by one. I let out a small chuckle before eating my own food.

It was a normal lunch together, just like the thousands upon thousands we'd had together. Razor led me out the Mondstadt gates, we passed by Timmy, and I had to remind Razor not to pounce on the pigeons, I'd told him many times but sometimes he forgets so it's best to be sure.
At nightfall, we were under the giant tree at Windrise, the crystalflies lit up the canopy of the tree, while the moonlight danced across the night sky. "You know, the Mondstadt lights still seem pretty, even from this distance." I turned my head to see a distracted and very much red Razor.
"Razor... are you-" "Bennett..." he cut me off, "Razor want tell something." "I'm listening," I replied, confused. But it became clear once he continued his words. He put one foot on the ground, and a knee on the floor, kneeling. He took out a piece of paper and showed it to me, the title read 'Colors', but what caught my attention was the section that read 'Red'.
"Bennett, Razor did homework, end up writing Bennett, make Razor realize, Razor very very very lucky Bennett friend, Razor like Bennett, more than friend, Razor... love Bennett. Can... Bennett and Razor... boyfriend?"
He gasped for air, he usually didn't talk much, while I was lost for words, I thought he was with Fischl, guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions. Tears formed in my eyes, I cried, I cried in happiness, but my thoughts flooded in.
'You love him, he loves you, go for it!' 'He'll end up leaving you anyway, your luck would ruin everything anyway.' 'He's perfect, why turn him down?' 'You don't deserve such a perfect person.' 'Shut up.'
"Razor..." tears continued to slowly roll off my chin, hitting the ground, "you... don't have to do this, faking that you love me, just so I can be happy." "But... Razor feelings, real. Razor real love Bennett." "R- Really?"

I suddenly felt lips meet mine, it felt great, the heat of my face and the heat of the moment encouraged me to go with it, and so... I did. I didn't pull back, I wanted it for so long, and I finally had it in my hands. Razor stopped, "Razor love, real."
He put his hands on mine, and time stopped. He slowly pulled me closer, staring at my eyes and I stared back. The wind lifted his long ash-grey hair, uncovering his face. His face looked beautiful when it reflected the dim moonlight, if only I had a Kamera.
He leaned in for another kiss, "Boyfriend?" "I would love to."

One man, in particular, sees opportunity. A chance. A path forward, to bring humanity from the depths of despair and turn it into a victory - a luxury. To remake the world even better than it was, dragging earth forward onto the galactic stage. It will require violence, lies, betrayals, magic, more violence, and the occasional genocide. But, hey. My Multisystem In Isekai
Zavier met Cosmic Consciousness after his death. He was satisfied with every system that Cosmic Consciousness exhibited, so he wanted all of them. Surprisingly, the Cosmic Consciousness obliged him. Zavier was reborn in an isekai full of magic and alchemy. Now, he had many routes to upgrade. Interestingly, to coordinate these systems, Cosmic Consciousness gave him the gift of being able to duplicate himself. He could clone a finite number of himself to manipulate these systems. Magus, Alchemist, Mesmer, Tamer, Hunter, Vampire, Werewolf, Dragonknight, Necromancer..... ----- It will be a story that focuses on combat and levelup but still has many mature contents. I've read a lot of fiction about cool systems, so I wanted to try one. So many amusing ideas popped up that I didn't know how to choose the best one. After a long time, I decided to blend them into one story. So the MC will have many routes to upgrade and, of course as well, many pretty female characters. I can't wait to share these with you guys!

Those who inherited the ruby were known as the Goddess’ Successor, and the one next in line to inherit it is… Auriella Corentin.
