Suara petir itu ngga berhenti bunyi. Yujin mandangin lewat jendela kamarnya.
Pintu kamar Yujin diketuk, trus dia ngebuka pintu itu. "Eh mbok, kenapa?"
"Anu den, tuan panggil Aden ke ruangannya" jawab mbok Ijah,
"Papa?" tanya Yujin lagi,
"Nggeh, den"
Yujin tutup pintunya, trus dia ngelangkahin kakinya keruangan yang bahkan jarang banget Yujin datengin. Karena ruangan itu selalu kosong,
Yujin ketuk pintunya, dan dia dipersilakan masuk.
"Tama—"
Yujin senyum, trus peluk papa nya itu. "Papa sehat?"
"Papa kapan nyampe?" tanya Yujin,
Padahal keadaannya masih gerimis, tapi Yujin nekat.
Yujin jadi males buat cinta-cintaan. Kecuali sama Minju.

"Minju?"
"Hai cupu!"
Minju duduk disamping Yujin.
Hujan-hujan?" tanya Minju,
Yujin noleh, "Ga perlu tau"
Minju bernyenye nyenye ka1.
"Gi pirli tii. Sungut Minju, Yujin ngangkat sebelah alisnya.
"Lo peduli sama gua?"
Minju ketawa ngakak, "EMANG GUE BILANG YANG PEDULI ITU GUE? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH"
Nyelekit. Tapi gapapa, harus terbiasa. Itulah Yujin.
"Kenapa lo bisa masuk kesini?" tanya Yujin, Minju ngangkat dua bahunya.
"Ngga ada larangan buat gue masuk sini kan? Lagian ini dibikin sama Yena kali, lo sok sokan banget ga ngebolehin gue masuk" jawab Minju kesel,
Yujin ngerutin alisnya, bajingan Yena.
"Kok sotoy?"
"Ye, gue nanya bukan sotoy. Kalo ngga tinggal jawab ngga kalo iya tinggal jawab iya, kok susah?!" Minju ngegas,
Minju ngehela nafasnya, "Lama-lama ngobrol sama lo, emosi gue terkuras"
Yujin senyum ditempatnya, "Gua ga minta buat ngobrol"
Minju noleh ke Yujin dengan tatapan, SOK BANGET LO, CUPU?????????????
"Menurut lo, keluarga itu apa?" tanya Yujin. Minju diem,
Yujin noleh, trus ngomong lagi. "Woi, budek?"
Dengan wajah ngga berdosa, Minju ngeliat Yujin. "Ngomong sama gue?"
Bukannya kesel, Yujin malah senyum.

"Gua ga pernah minta apapun sama beliau.
Minju ngebenerin posisi duduknya,
Apalagi kalo minta ngew—"
Gua ga siap denger kalimat tadi"
Minju majuin bibirnya, "Ya pokoknya itu!"
Yujin ngga ngomong apa-apa lagi. Begitu juga Minju. Dua-duanya cuma nikmatin suasana malam itu aja.
"Sana balik"
"Ngusir gue?"
"Iya. Mau tidur berdua sama gua?"
Minju natap Yujin, trus Minju ngikis jarak. Bikin degupan jantung Yujin membabi buta aja disitu.
"Boleh, kalo ditawarin."

Fated To Fall: A Transmigrator LitRPG Tale
She had welcomed Death with open arms, and was more than happy to spend her afterlife floating in the void. Until a Goddess decides she has better plans for her and offers her a choice any fantasy loving geek would die for. However after accepting the offer she learned the hard way that one should always read the fine print, especially when dealing with a God. Now she's been dropped into the world that inspired her favorite game. Except the body she now inhabits is that of the final boss of the game, only 8 years before she comes into her cataclysmic powers. She now has to avoid the machinations of a family that at best wants nothing to do with her and at worst wants her dead. Avoid any and all Heroes with a proclivity for decapitation, complete a Goddess's vague Quest to save the fate of the world, tame every cute magical beast she can get her hands on. Oh and probably find a way to smack said Goddess who thought putting her in the body of the character with the worst Tragic Backstory™ was a good idea. Liliana Rosengarde might be Fated to Fall but this little bird just found her wings and won't be hitting the ground anytime soon. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Tags that fit this story that aren't options: Slow Burn, if you don't like slow stories that build to action very slowly this isn't the novel for you. If you like slow development, copious introspection and a story focused on a single character you will probably enjoy this! Crunchy LitRPG, numbers, math, boxes galore adorn these pages. The Priest of Genes
Meet Seth, acolyte in the Church of Virtue. He’ll be a Priest like his father soon, he just knows it. Sure he didn’t inherit his mother’s preaching power, but he doesn’t mind being the secondary priest at whatever temple he is assigned to. Just as long as he has a library. Meet this genetics textbook. Hmm, that doesn’t belong here. It must have come from somewhere far away, I guess something happened to its owner. I’m sure a studious young man who likes healing could go far with this information, whether he wants to or not. This is my first time really writing anything, so I hope you like it! Please let me know if I make any mistakes; I have a new R&D tech job at a genomics company, so I probably don’t edit as much as some people. I’m shooting for two thousand-ish word chapters released on Sundays, since none of the webnovels I read ever seem to update that day. Underserved Market! Genre is fantasy, possibly progression fantasy. Maybe a tiny bit litRPG if you wait a while and squint really hard, but that’s the most I’m prepared to claim. Hedged my bets on the content warnings, nothing that bad. Cover art from A. W. Gelman

Unprotected Sects
When freshly-graduated Dr. Selva Imroth accepted a short job from her former doktormutter, she had expected to interview a few PhD washouts and write a report to the Dean. Unfortunately for Selva, everything in her life has to be an ordeal. Updates every weekday, but not on the weekend. I hadn't planned on doing NaNoWriMo, but then on Halloween night I was sharing an old plot bunny with a new friend and realized, "oh shit I can actually use this." So, here we are. Thanks, friend. In true NaNoWriMo fashion, I will not be using my typical editing process here, and will instead simply vomit words onto your screen as quickly as possible, trying valiantly to avoid asking myself "oh my god who CARES" because tangents are important to wordcount.
