'Finally! Third period is over. I can see Koo now', Taehyung thought.

He packed his books in his bag and headed out of the classroom.

When Taehyung reached the lunch room, he saw Jeongguk sitting on his usual seat. He was looking at his phone.

Taehyung walked over to him, sat on his lap and kissed him. Jeongguk of course, kissed back. The kiss, getting more heated by the moment.

"We're here too", Jin said with attitude, rolling his eyes.

"Shut up. You're just jealous because you and Joon are boyfriends yet you don't even do half the things Tae and I do. To think that we're just best friends", Jeongguk said back with the same attitude.

Jin gasped.

"You did not just say that. At least, Joon and I are dating. I found out not that long ago that he'd love to do all that with me. Just not in front of others. Unlike you two who are 'best friends'. That's some serious disrespect, young man", Jin said, crossing his arms.

"What's wrong with being best friends with Koo?", Taehyung asked.

"Honey, you have to stop your current relationship with Jeongguk. You won't get a boyfriend like you wanted if you keep this up with Jeongguk", Jin said with a soft gaze.

Yoongi then whispered something in Jin's ear, making Jin's eyes widen.

"Jeongguk, you son of a bitch! How dare you play with Taehyung?!", Jin said.

"I'm not. The hell? Yoongi what did you whisper to Jin?", Jeongguk said.

"Nothing that concerns you", Yoongi replied, leaning his head on Jimin's shoulder.

"It's fine, guys. I'm actually the one who decided to keep it going. This is all part of the plan. I'm actually trying to make Koo fall for me by the end of this week. It's like a bet", Taehyung said, resting his head on Jeongguk's chest while still on his lap.

"Bro.. Kook has already fallen for you. I mean, just look at him. He lets you sit on his lap and LOVES making out with you. It's so god damn obvious that it hurts to watch", Hoseok said, face palming himself.

"Koo... have you fallen for me already?", Taehyung asked, his head still laying on Jeongguk's chest.

"No. I don't have feelings for you in the slightest. Not yet", Jeongguk lied.

The rest looked at Jeongguk judgmentally.

"I knew you were stupid, alright. Just not this much. Unless, you're pretending", Jimin said, stroking Yoongi's hair.

"I'm not. I really don't like Tae", Jeongguk kept lying.

Namjoon and Jeongguk locked gazes. There was no point in trying to fool Namjoon. He's very observant and knows a lot. He just doesn't like getting involved with other people's business but he's gonna have to reconsider this time around.

"Jeongguk. I highly suggest you stop. You're gonna end up regretting ever lying", Namjoon said, already done with Jeongguk's bullshit.

There was this weird tension going on with Jeongguk and Namjoon.

"Guys, stop. If he says he doesn't like me, then he doesn't. Don't force his feelings all up on me.

Jimin. Hobi. Koo. You three, go get lunch. There's something I want to talk with Joon, Jin and Yoongi", Taehyung said, getting off Jeongguk.

The three left and Taehyung spoke.

"Okay. I know you three aren't fond of the relationship Jeongguk and I have but I chose this. I'm not completely sure if Jeongguk likes me the way I like him. Wait, no. I mean love because what I feel for Jeongguk, goes way beyond the word like. Don't get mad at Koo. I brought this onto myself. If I get hurt in the end, then it's my fault. Not his. I beg of you to please understand", Taehyung said with watery eyes.

"Tae.. I'm sorry", Jin apologized.

"I understand", Namjoon said.

"All this time, I was against Jeongguk because I thought he was the one that kept initiating everything. I owe Jeongguk an apology. Tae, be careful", Yoongi said, placing his right hand on Taehyung's left shoulder as a way of comfort.

"Don't worry. I know what I'm doing. Let's go get lunch", Taehyung said smiling.

Where is he? I could have sworn I saw him go by here.

"Kookie. What's your relationship with Taehyung?", I heard a girl ask on the other side of the door.

What could that girl want? Then again, I would like to know even though I heard enough today at lunch.

"We're best friends", I heard Jeongguk answer.

"If you're just best friends, why do you kiss and do stuff that only couples would do?", the girl asked.

"It's normal for us. We're very close. The kisses and stuff don't really mean anything", Jeongguk said.

No way.. does it mean absolutely nothing to him?

"Then why don't you flirt with us girls anymore?", the girl asked.

"I'm not really sure", Jeongguk replied.

"Does it have to do with Taehyung? If there aren't any feelings attached, why stop? A lot of girls including myself, want the old Jeongguk back. You've changed so much in the past week. Can you please come back?", the girl said.

What's her goal here by saying all of that?

There was a long silence.

"I guess you're right. Maybe I should go back to my old self", Jeongguk said.

I don't believe it. He can't! He told me he would give me a chance to prove to him that I could make him fall for me. He.. told me he wouldn't go back to those girls as long as the best was still on. So why?...

"That's fantastic! Can't wait to hang out with you again! See ya~", the girl said before opening the door, revealing myself.

Why do I feel like I just committed a crime and was caught red handed?

"Oh! Hey Tae! I was just leaving. I have to go. I'll see you around", the girl said with a smile, leaving Jeongguk and I alone.

"Did you hear?", Jeongguk asked, a look of guilt taking place.

"Yeah, I did. It's fi-"

"Let Me Explain!", Jeongguk interrupted me.

"It's fine. Like you said, there are no feelings attached so why stop? I've actually thought about it for a while now. I know I'm always cutting bets off so forgive me for that. The reason for the bet in the first place was to see if I could change your sexuality. Now, it just feels dumb. I wasn't thinking. Forget the bet. I'd like us to go back to being only Best Friends. Without the kisses and stuff", I lied.

"Baby, no. You-"

"Oh, I forgot. Stop calling me couple pet names, as well. I don't want other girls to get the wrong idea anymore", I interrupted him.

"Tae...", Jeongguk tried to say but he couldn't even find the right words.

I guess I was right. Damn. I didn't know it'd hurt this bad. I feel the pain in my chest.

"Shit! I have to go to my next class. Such a shame but maybe you'll find yourself a hot girl roaming the hallways. I'll see you home, best friend", I said, speed walking away.

"KIM TAEHYUNG!"
