The bell rung meaning class was dismissed. Taehyung said his goodbyes to Bogum and walked over to Jeongguk.

"Kookie", Taehyung said wanting to get Jeongguk's attention.

Jeongguk however, didn't bother to look at him and continued putting away his books.

"What's wrong, Kookie? Are you mad at me?", Taehyung questioned feeling a tad guilty.

Jeongguk still hadn't answered and started walking out of the classroom. Taehyung just followed him like a lost puppy, tapping and hitting him lightly.

Nothing seemed to get Jeongguk to talk to him so he gave up for the time being. Jeongguk clearly needed space.

Taehyung stopped following his best friend, headed the opposite direction and went to go find Hoseok.

I texted Hoseok to meet me in front of Mr. Lee's classroom. We had about 15 minutes left before our next class started.

When I got there, turns out that Hoseok had made it before me.

"What's wrong Tae? Why the long face? Need a hug?", Hoseok said spreading his arms.

I needed one so I hugged him tightly while crying.

"Jeongguk's mad at me and I don't know what I did wrong", I said with a saddened expression breaking the hug.

"Let him cool down. Talk to him when he's relaxed. That would be the best thing to do", Hoseok suggested.

"Yeah, I'll try that", I said.

Hoseok smiled at me but then his expression changed to a more confused one.

"What's wrong?", I asked.

"Look. People are heading outside with their camera open. What's the fuss this time? Let's go check it out", Hoseok said and dragged me with him outside.

I couldn't really see what was going on due to the huge crowd surrounding the people that were fighting but curiosity got the best of me so I made my way to the front of the crowd.

My eyes widened. J-Jeongguk? He was fighting with two guys. The other two couldn't get a hit on him no matter how many punches they tried throwing at him.

"I DARE YOU!! I FUCKING DARE YOU TO TALK ABOUT TAEHYUNG LIKE THAT AGAIN!!", Jeongguk yelled while pushing both of the guys to the floor.

What?... Were they talking bad about me? He got in a fight for me?...

Tears started running down my cheeks.

Just then, Jeongguk stormed out of the scene and I followed him.

"Jeongguk!!", I yelled.

He turned around looking at me with a shocked face.

I sensed that Taehyung stopped following. I low key still wanted him to keep trying but I guess he was taking my feelings into account. That's what I like about him. He's an understanding person.

I went outside to get some fresh air when I heard two guys talking. Their conversation didn't interest me until I heard the name Taehyung come out of their mouth.

"Let me ask you something", the first guy said.

"Sure. Go ahead", the second guy replied.

"What do you think about Kim Taehyung?", the first guy asked.

What? Why would he want an opinion on Taehyung?

"Who's he?", the second guy asked.

"You know Jeongguk, right? Kim Taehyung is his best friend", the first guy stated.

"Ohh. So that was his name? Well, I find him very attractive. He has feminine features that rival a girl's. Heck, even his body is better than the girl's here at our school. Don't get me started on his ass. I always did wonder how it'd feel to have sex with him. Surely, it would feel amazing", the second guy said.

What the actual fuck...

"Same but he has Jeongguk next to him 24/7. It'd be impossible to court him. We should wait for a time when Taehyung is alone and take advantage of the situation. Will you help me out?", the first guy said.

"Ye-", the second guy was trying to say but was interrupted by my fist hitting his face.

"You want to say that again you bastards?", I questioned.

"What the hell m- Jeongguk??!", the first guy said surprised.

I looked at him with pure hatred and punched him as well.

The other guy tried to hit me but I managed to dodge it, kneed him in the stomach and before I knew it, a crowd of people were surrounding us and filming the fight. Tch.

"What's wrong with you?!", the first guy asked about to throw a punch at me but I caught it on time with my hand.

"What's wrong with me, you ask? I should be the one asking both of you that!", I said grabbing both of them by the neck and pushing them to the ground.

"I DARE YOU!! I FUCKING DARE YOU TO TALK ABOUT TAEHYUNG LIKE THAT AGAIN!!", I yelled at them.

I didn't want to continue this fight or get into more trouble so I left the scene.

They have better learnt their lesson.

As I was walking, I heard someone call out my name. That someone was none other than my best friend, my world, Taehyung.

"Jeongguk!!", he yelled and I turned around to face him. Yet when I did, I was shocked. He was crying...

I walked up to him and embraced him in my arms.

"Why?... Why are you crying, love?", I asked worried while holding him as tight as I could.

"I... I thought you were mad at me. I thought you h..hated me and that I did something wrong. I most likely did but then I saw you fighting those guys because of m..me, it got me emotional. Don't ignore me, p..please. I n..need you", he said breaking between sobs.

"Tae, don't cry. I'm sorry. I was just jealous that you let Bogum sit next to you and kiss you. I was mad because I thought you betrayed me. I thought I was your best friend", I said.

"You are my b..best friend! My o..only best friend as matter of fact. I won't do it again. Just please d..don't ignore me. I wouldn't be able to b..bare it", he said hugging me just as tight.

The sight broke me so I made him look up at me and I smiled at him.

"Don't cry. You're too precious to cry", I told him.

This only made him cry more.

His words only made me even more sentimental and I cried even more. Why am I like this?? Why can't I stop crying? You're so pathetic Kim Taehyung.

"Baby..", he said catching my attention.

Baby.... I could feel my cheeks turn red.

He then leaned down and kissed me lightly a few times on my neck which got me even more flustered but it felt nice...

After that, he kissed my forehead and I smiled pulling him closer to me.

"I Love You, Tae. You're my best friend and I don't want to see you cry ever again. Especially if it's my fault", he said.

It was then that I realized I had feelings for Jeon Jeongguk. I had fallen for him. I wanted to be his but then I remembered...

He only sees me as his best friend...
