《One Night (Completed)》1. Landon

"Aye! I bet you can't fuck that one right there!" I turned and looked at the girl Mark was pointing to as he sat there with a smirk on his face. We all busted out laughing once we caught sight of the girl.
"Hell nahh! I'd judge your ass if you even tried." Chris said with a look of disgust before shaking his head with a small laugh.
I was still laughing, "yeah, I'm good on that!" she was not cute, not even in the slightest.
My niggas and I were in the cafe, just scoping the scene. We always had this little game we played where we would bet money on who could fuck a certain girl in a certain amount of time. The shit was always comedy, some of these girls were just too easy. Barely took anything for them to drop the panties.
We hadn't did the shit in a while due to some crazy shit that happened with one of Chris' girls, which was bound to happen every once in a while when you just fucking a girl to win a bet and just cut her off when it's all said and done. I typically would wean a girl off, slowly fall back. But Chris could be a straight savage and just straight up stop talking to a girl after he hit. I tried not to be that bad, but I was far from innocent with the shit, I'd done my fair share of fucked up things in these situations.
"Aye, but on some real shit Landon, I bet top dollar you can't fuck her." Mark wasn't pointing or nothing just staring across the cafe, so I didn't even know who he was referring to.
Chris chimed in, "who?" then Bryan chimed in as well, "shit nigga the way you staring, you sure you don't want that to be a bet that you can't hit?" he asked pointing at Mark putting the emphasis on him.

I laughed, the nigga was looking like he was mesmerized. He chuckled then put his attention back on us, "nahh, I won't even try, I don't think that she's that type of chick. But Landon think he can hit anything so, I'm betting top dollar you can't hit shawty over there," this time he pointed across the cafe, "she sitting by herself, she got a sloppy bun on top of her head, glasses on, reading, with the black hoodie on."
It took me a minute but I finally saw who he was talking about. She looked like a decent girl, she was brown skin; not typically what I went for. No offense or no shit, but I liked my girls bright, or foreign like those Spanish or Brazilian girls. The girl was dressed real chill, just a hoodie, some Adidas sweats and some Adidas sneakers. The type of girls I typically went for stood out, dressed to kill no matter what; but she looked like she might have had some potential in her. I smiled deviously, "wait, you know her and you cool with betting her up?" typically we never bet on a girl that we were cool with.
He shook his head, still looking in that direction before focusing his eyes on me, "nahh, I don't know her yet."
I laughed, "you betting top dollar for her?"
Top dollar was $75 minimum, and everybody had to agree on the amount we put in because everybody put in, if a nigga hit it by the amount of time allotted he got all the money, if not, everybody got to keep their money and the nigga that lost had to split his portion of the money with the rest of the niggas in the group or put it in the liquor box depending on how much the bet was. We drank a lot, so it was easy money to go to when it was time to get bottles.

My nigga Jodie walked up to the table stopping the conversation at hand momentarily, "my niggas," he began dapping everybody up, "what the fuck is up!?" He was hype as hell as always.
"Shit, we bout to make a bet on Landon hitting a shawty over there," Chris said as he started pointing in the direction of the girl that Mark was talking about.
Jodie was squinting his eyes, "nigga who? It's mad bitches in here, describe her." Jodie was a hood ass nigga, we grew up together, before my pops started making big money and moved. He was always calling girls bitches. I used to be the same way, but I tried to limit that shit cause my moms stayed on my ass about it, typically only using it when I was mad.
Chris begin describing what she had on, "ohhhh, you talking about Aria?" Jodie asked. We all just looked at each other like motherfucka we don't know. Jodie started laughing, "my bad, yeah that's Aria, she smart as hell and chill as hell. I got a couple classes with her, yeah you can't hit that." He stated matter of factly.
This made everybody at the table laugh, I loved a challenge, so he wasn't really saying shit to me. I wasn't an ugly nigga, my parents were both light skin, and my complexion matched theirs to the T. I had hazel eyes complimentary of my mother, with the perfect smile, laced with dimples. Girls loved pretty eyes, and girls loved dimples, shit at least that's what they told me. I smiled and started rubbing my chin, "Then niggas lets bet."
Jodie looked at me like I was crazy, "nigga you sure? I'm telling you, you bout to be paying us nigga" he said while putting a hand on my shoulder.
I hadn't lost a bet yet, and I damn sure wasn't about to start. "Top dollar right?" I asked ignoring what Jodie said.
Bryan smirked, "shit, the nigga talking big shit, I'm down to put $100 on it since y'all so sure he won't be able to hit that."
Mark nodded his head in agreement, with Chris following behind, Jodie looked and thought about it for a second, "shit, just be ready to pay up."
I laughed, "I'm going to enjoy making $400 off of y'all niggas. How much time?" I asked with one eyebrow raise.
Mark began, "well since we know she a hard one, I say we give him a little more time," typically we'd give each other between a week and a month to make it happen.
Chris broke in, "shit, let's give him a month and a half."
Everybody was in agreeance, I grinned, "let the shit begin then!" I dapped my niggas up, "now's a prime time to go work my magic, I'll catch y'all," I smiled earnestly.
"Aye, she gon' turn you down, but don't let it break you," Jodie said with a big smile, everybody laughed, me included. "Yeah, picture that, a girl breaking me down? Won't happen." I said with confidence, I smiled, and made my way to Aria's table.

He began walking over to me. This is it. I'm dead. I saw his shoes come into my view as I was looking down, hair covering my face. "Look at me." He growled out. I started to cry, too afraid to look.
