(Kyoka's POV)
"Kyokaaaaa!!!" Denki hollered and pounced on me, trapping me in a tight hug. Ever since that day, he suddenly became clingier. Wherever I went, he was always nearby, with the exception of the bathroom.
I struggled to release myself from his grasp. "Denki, let go. I can't breathe," I huffed.
The evil boy just snickered and replied, "Never! I'm gonna make sure we'll never be separated again!" I gave him a jab in the ear, instantaneously making him release me. Aha! He rubbed him ear and whined. "Kyoka, you're so mean! Oh, but I can't stay mad at you forever, you're just too cute!"
Honestly, what has gotten into him? "What's gotten into you?" I questioned, poking his cheek. For a second, Denki hesitated, as if he was wondering what to say. He opened his mouth only to close it back up again, just like those dumb goldfish they have at festival stalls. "C'mon, Denks, you can tell me. You're not hiding anything, are you?"
All of a sudden, the frivolous act blew away and I was left with a nervous, fidgeting mess. He stroked his hair, pulling it over his face so I couldn't see. "K-Kyoka...can I ask you something...important?"
Feeling slightly self-conscious, I bit my lip. "W-what is it?"
"I like you. Remember the first day I said it? What's your answer?"
I was completely taken aback. I've completely forgotten about it ever since the whole kidnap scenario. He stared at me with an intense look in his eye. I needed to give Denki an answer, he's waited long enough already. I still kinda feel bad for making him wait.
"I-I like you too..." I mumbled, nervously playing with my earphone jacks. He leaned towards me and put a hand to his ear. This guy-

"What was that? I couldn't hear you," he teased. He just wanted to hear me say that again, didn't he? That jerk! Forehead throbbing from sheer irritation, I grabbed his face with both my hands and looked him straight into the eye.
"Listen up, I won't repeat it a third time. I. Like. You. Kaminari Denki."
His astonished face suddenly grew a cheeky grin. "Aaand...stop recording!" he said happily. I'm pretty sure I accidentally swallowed a fly because I was so baffled right there that my mouth just dangled open. Was this guy playing with my feelings? What the heck is he gonna do with the recording anyway.
I threw out my arms, trying to take that stupid phone out of his hands and delete that stupid recording, but unfortunately failed miserably. "Give it...delete that!.." I begged, desperately trying take the phone from him.
"Nope! I won't have a nice ringtone if I did!"
"Ringtone...?! I don't want the whole class hearing this! Especially not Mina! I'll never see the light of day again! C'mon..." An idea filled my mind. I started sniffling, looking at my feet and shaking. This guy was dumb, this plan would definitely work.
Denki froze upon my unexpected reaction. He was completely lost at this point. "K-kyoka...I'm sorry I made you cry. It was just a prank...I didn't really want to set it as my ringtone. I just wanted to keep this to myself to be honest, listen to it over and over. You made my heart beat really, really fast when you said that, y'know? So...I'm sorry, I'll delete it now....OWW!"
His phone flew right into my hands and so I deleted the recording myself.
"Kyoka....!"

The awkward silence is killing me. We were just sitting on opposite sides of the bed, unsure of what to say. I glanced over at the boy beside me and meeting eyes with him, only for both of us to blush and turn away. This cycle had been going on for a while now.
It was Denki who broke the silence first. "So...does this mean we're now.."
"A thing? Yeah, I guess. If you wanna."
"Y'know, Kyoka. From all the girls I've tried going out with, you're the first one who made me feel this way." He stepped closer to me, his face just centimetres away from mine. "And I think you'll be the only one who did ."
Completely taken by surprise, I jumped. He stopped in mid track, his eyes questioning me. "S-sorry...it's sort of my first time doing this," I chuckled nervously. "To tell you the truth, this is my first relationship."
Denki looked surprised. "So...I'm like, your first love? HELL YEAH!! Just to warn you beforehand, Jirou Kyoka, this man right here will be taking all your firsts!" he quipped, grinning from ear to hear. I practically melted on the spot from how red I've gotten. "Heheh, just kidding! It's okay if you're not ready, we'll take it slow, yeah? Until you're mentally prepared, I'll do all sorts of things with you!" All sorts of things?!
"K-kyoka...?! Hey, don't faint on me...!"
Kyoka = 1
Denki = 1

(Denki's POV)
"So the two of you...?"
"Yup! We are!" I proudly stated. "Me and Kyoka are finally dating! All my hard work has paid off!"
Kirishima clapped me on the back. "Well done, man! Congratulations!"
Mina cheered. "Yes! Mission Kamijirou was a success! So, Kaminari, now what?"
Wait. What did she mean by now what? Was there something I'm supposed to do? "What do you mean by now what?"
"Kaminari, you silly boy. One word: date."
Still dazed by the memory of Kyoka accepting my confession I stupidly asked, "Date? You mean like, the fruit?"
Mina just stared at me, like she couldn't believe the words I just vomited out, while Kirishima facepalmed. Did I say something wrong? Dates are tasty...do they not like dates?
Kirishima patted my shoulder. "Sometimes, man, I wonder how far your idiocy goes. No, Mina didn't mean the fruit. She meant date as in date date. Your first date with Jirou."
For once, I wanted to slap myself for being so dumb and for forgetting such an important thing, the first date. Why did I go thinking of the fruit? "Oh. That kind of date. Oh shit...what do I do? What do we do? Where do I take her...?"
The two sighed and just smiled at me. "Don't worry, that's where we come in! The Love Doctors!" Mina exclaimed excitedly.
"Wha...?"

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01

New ones coming after that! _________________________________________________________________ Sneak Peek: Next to the kitchen, there was a small squared table and two wooden chairs, each made from different wood. The bookshelf behind those contained a decent amount of books. I stood up to take a closer look at them and even opened a few out of curiosity. While I could read most of them just fine, some of the oldest-looking books were written in a language I didn't recognize. "Hm? Was my hand always blue?" I didn't remember. In fact, I couldn't recall anything about myself, not even my name. Inspecting the rest of my body, I found that it was the same all over. I didn't feel sick; quite the opposite. Still, my blue skin felt out of place for some reason. Trying to find an answer to my situation, I kept investigating the odd room. _________________________________________________________________ Big thanks to Alice Griffin for helping me out with the cover.

I hope you take my words to heart. I would hate to kill you myself one day. Now listen carefully." As Master Thrass spoke I listened. He told me that the process was fairly simple but very dangerous as well. This is after all Black Hive Mountain. Home of the greatest Assassins in the world.

The Solstice Wars
In the grey-cloaked cityscape of modern London, student William Whiteswift has two secrets: the Fae walk among humanity, and they are just as vulnerable as us. His childhood was filled with them; they spawned nightmares and episodes, dreams and obsessions. The nightmares remain, of course, but the fae are his normal. Now, he heals them, for William is gifted. When he saves a faerie -- a humanoid fae -- from an injury he can’t explain, William is forced to let her stay. Finally, he may have taken on more than he can handle; Ainsel could uproot his life in seconds. Instead, she cracks a Pandora’s box of mysteries: someone just flipped her home on its head. And because of that, she did something unspeakable. And somehow, she doesn’t want to hurt him. The longer she stays, though, the crueler his nightmares grow. Worse, governments hide secrets, too: they know of faeries. To them, all fae are monsters fueled by solstices and equinoxes. As the autumn equinox approaches, the culling agency COURT hurries to track Ainsel down. With teams across the United Kingdom and Ireland -- iron-strong despite the region’s history -- they are nearing success. A world away, their country wounded, the faerie leaders hunger for justice. In the looming shadows of war and of Ainsel’s mistake, can a human and a faerie protect each other against their own kind? Could their plight mend rifts between bitter nations and bitterer people? Or will it, like past attempts at peace, shatter? Quick note! I hope you all enjoy the Irish (Irish Gaelic) words here and there! All are defined or explained within the text. This is my chance to show off speaking it at least somewhat decently. Still learning. ;D -K

Or I could just sleep and worry about it later... Yeah, I'll just sleep... Sleep sounds good.
