《With You (A Kamijirou Fanfic)》Chapter 15

(Kaminari's POV)
I woke up feeling a cold hard surface beneath me and groggily opened my eyes, my body aching all over. Where am I? The room seemed unfamiliar yet familiar...if you get what I mean. I tried to stand up only to be pulled back by a chain shackled to my wrist. What had happened? Oh right, a fake Mineta had knocked me out...the work of a villain it looks like. But only one person I know has the quirk to resemble someone else.
The door to my cell creaked open to show a small girl in a middle school uniform, grinning from ear to ear...really creepily. "Oh, you're awake now, Kaminari-kun?" Toga Himiko
I grimaced. "What do you want, Toga?"
Toga giggled, possibly belittling me. "It isn't want I want, Kaminari-kun. It's what the boss wants..don't look at me like that! You know who I'm talking about! It's Shiggy-kun! He's been really mad when you didn't show up last time!"
That took me by surprise. "What do you mean by I didn't show up last time? I don't recall me having anything to do with villains."
Toga's smile faltered, looking a little deadpanned. "Seriously? You didn't know? We even left you a notice at your house."
"Okay, first of all, how do you know where I live? Second, what notice are you talking about?" Honestly, what was happening? I don't remember ever being associated with these guys! Well, other than the times I had to fight them.
"We tried to set a trap by inviting you to a "party". It was boring when you didn't show. I could've got to stab you all over! You may not be Izuku-kun or Ochako-chan..but you're third best in my heart! That's why I even captured Kyoka-chan...so I can have you all to myself!"
This girl is the definition of yandere. I even regret downloading that yandere harem game two years back.

"I-I don't remember receiving an invite...you must be mistaken," I uttered, trying to keep my composure.
"Seriously?! I must've gotten the addresses mixed up! My bad!"
The league was beginning to get on my nerves. "Where's Kyoka?"
Toga smirked and shook her head. "I'm not supposed to tell you or Shiggy will get angry with me!" she giggled. "Forget about Kyoka-chan! You've got me instead!"
Why the heck would I want her? And why would the league want me? A guy with a halfie mask approached my cell door. Twice.
"Toga-chan, it's time," he said. "Why are we keeping a dude like this? He looks whack," he continued in a voice with a higher pitch. Excuse me? Who're you calling whack? If this is about my hair again, you don't have a sense of style! My hair looks amazing!
A villain who resembled a reptile pulled at my chains. Spinner was his name...if I'm not mistaken.
"The boss called for you. Honestly, I don't know why we're wasting time on you instead of All Might's successor. Only he is worthy." Yeesh..thanks for the warm introduction. He roughly dragged me out of the cell and threw me into a damp, musty bar. It's giving me the chills... I'd give anything to go back in that cell...this place is giving me the heebie-jeebies.
"Finally...I was wondering why you were taking so long. I was getting impatient," an eerily familiar voice sounded from the dark corner of the room. The man stepped out and I immediately recognised him: Shigaraki Tomura. "Welcome...Kaminari Denki. I have waited. Ever since I've failed on recruiting Bakugou to join...I've been even more careful in choosing recruits for the league. And I've decided...you're perfect for the job!"
My blood started to boil. "No, I refuse! I'm a hero, not a zero! And villains are definitely lower than a zero....negative numbers! I'll never join you, you shits!"

Something about Shigaraki's reaction to my rebound just didn't match up. He was grinning. The sneer was so wide that it was even visible behind that hand we was wearing on his face. "I knew you would say that. As I told you before, we're more careful now with choosing our methods," he drawled, beckoning to the door. "Dabi, bring the girl in."
Whatever boiling blood that was in me drained out, leaving me to feel like throwing up. I saw Kyoka being carried into the room by that Dabi guy, unconscious (hopefully not dead), tied up and muffled. The other reason I felt uneasy was beacause some other guy was touching my girl... but that's not the issue here.
The guy in the top hat seemed to have read my expression because he said, "No, your little girlfriend isn't dead. We only ask one favour."
"And w-what is that?" I uttered cautiously, trying to appear as brave as possible. It was clearly not working.
Shigaraki wrapped four of his fingers around Kyoka's neck. "You join us or the girl gets killed. You may have known before, but if my fifth finger even touches her, you can say bye bye and you'll join her later. So make your pick, the girl dies or..." He slowly moved his pinky to her neck.
"NOOO! I-I'll join you guys.." I said, hesitantly. I was in a really bad position. I would attack with my quirk, but remember, I was kidnapped in my UA uniform, not in my hero costume, so I didn't have my pointer and shooter with me. They also apparently took my phone away while I was still knocked out so calling the school wouldn't have been an option. Plus that guy could kill Kyoka way faster than I can dial three numbers, let alone unlock my phone. And I was really good when it comes to most technology. I don't even have my headset with me...I don't even think there's any signal down here for me to contact help anyway. I didn't really have a choice.
Shigaraki smiled. "Excellent. Kurogiri! Dabi!" He beckoned to the black mist guy. "Send the girl back. She's not needed in the plan."
"Yes sir," Kurogiri said and left the room.
" 'You'd do something important' he said. 'It would be dangerous' he said. But here I am doing errands as the delivery boy," Dabi muttered under his breath as he passed me.
I sank to the floor, shivering. What would everyone think when they found out I joined the league??! I'm in a mess I couldn't even get out of. And for once, it was a mess that I didn't even cause!
"Now, onto business, Kaminari-kun," Shigaraki said. One minute he's all threatening and now he's talking to me as if we were familiars! Well..we kinda are, but not in a good way. "I have a job for you."
I didn't really have a choice, do I?
"Now, onto business, Kaminari-kun."
"What is it?" I asked, skeptical.
Everyone in the room pulled out their phones. Wait...hold on...
"Well, the electric bill is getting pricey so we decided to save on it, limiting to only the lights," Mr Compress said.
"So we kidnapped you to take care of everything else, mostly to charge our phones so I-I mean we can keep tabs on All Might and Midoriya," Shigaraki continued.
Toga ran up to me and pushed her phone into my chest. "Charge my phone, please, Kaminari-kun?" she asked sweetly, batting her eyes. "I need to keep up with my Insta feed!"
Are you kidding me? I was kidnapped and Kyoka's life was threatened...to charge phones?!

"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
