《With You (A Kamijirou Fanfic)》Chapter 10: Fight

(No one's POV)
It's been a few weeks since the "date" and Denki hasn't hung out with Kyoka much. The times they even held a decent conversation was getting scarce. Nowadays, Denki seemed to be hanging with Shinsou more often.
The bell rung, signaling the end of school. She packed up her stuff and walked up to Denki who was packing his belongings.
"Hey, Denki, do you want to walk to the dorms together?"
"Sorry, Kyo, I'm hanging with Shinsou after school. We need to buy a few things for the project we're doing," Denki gave her an apologetic smile as he swung his bag over his shoulder. "Maybe another time?"
"O-okay. See you..." Kyoka watched as he went to join Shinsou. Was it just her, or was Denki holding a sad expression on his face?
As she continued to watch his retreating back, a hand patted her shoulder.
"Hmm, you too, huh?" Kyoka looked up to meet the eyes of Kirishima Eijiro. She gave him a questioning look, indicating she didn't understand a word he said. "Kaminari ditching you for Shinsou, I mean. He hasn't been hanging with the gang since that guy joined our class."
She sighed. What's up with Denki nowadays?
Kirishima gasped. "Do you think Shinsou is brainwashing him?"
"Nope, Denki looked normal to me. If he was brainwashed, he'd look a bit more lifeless."
"Guess you're right. And we made plans with the gang to hang at the arcade today..." Kiri groaned. "Say...since he's busy, care to join us?"
"Eh, sure. I could use a break."
(Denki's POV)
I really feel bad for ditching Jirou and the gang. And I was supposed to be at the arcade with the squad today, too. Shinsou keeps dragging me along with him, he does it so often that I don't even get to exchange a decent conversation with anyone else. But he's my friend, I'm probably his only friend in the class...aside from Midoriya but he's tied to the hip with Iida and Uraraka. Shinsou might be feeling a little out of place here.

"Which shop should we go to first?" Shinsou asked.
I looked around before a shop caught my eye. "That one," I said, pointing at a bright art and crafts store.
We approached the shop and sifted through the products.
"Hey, should we get some tape?" Shinsou asked, holding up a roll of cellophane tape.
"Nope, I'll just ask Sero for some. No need to buy that," I replied without looking up.
"How about paintbrushes?"
"I was planning on asking Yaoyorozu to make them."
"Then why are we even bothering to buy anything?!" Shinsou asked in disbelief.
"Window shopping."
"W-" Before he could continue his sentence, I continued.
"We need paint and glue. I don't think Yaoyorozu could make liquids."
Shinsou huffed then headed to the paint aisle. I snickered to myself, proud of how I managed to tease the guy.
(Kyoka's POV)
Me and the gang (the whole Bakusquad except for Denki) had just finished our session in the arcade and we were casually walking around the mall window-shopping. We spotted a bright looking art and crafts store that immediately attracted Kirishima and Mina. Honestly, those two are made for each other.
I felt bored so I decided to strike some small talk with the two I was left behind with.
"So, how have you guys been?"
Sero shrugged. "Pretty good. I actually started dating a girl from class B."
I was little surprised, Sero didn't hit me as the dating type. Life is full of surprises. "Who?"
"I'm sure you're familiar with Tokage Setsuna, Jirou," he said, his face showing the most tiniest of blushes.
"Oh, good for you." I turned to look at the shop. What's taking Kirishima and Mina so long? "Hey, Sero, Bakugou, I'm just going to check on them. They're taking way too long."

"Whatever."
"Sure thing."
(When she left....)
Sero turned to look at Bakugou.
"So it's just you and me now, huh?" he said waggling his eyebrows in a joking manner.
"Oh God, Flat Face. We both have girlfriends, you're hopeless." Bakugou rolled his eyes, annoyed and left, leaving Sero on his own.
~~~~~~
(Still Kyoka's POV)
I looked around the huge shop. They sell some pretty interesting things. There's even some materials I've never seen before! I spotted Mina and Kirishima goggling at some tiny pompom balls.
"Mina, they look like mini you's! Cute, small and fluffy!" Kiri gushed.
"Ahahaha, Kiri, you're too cute!" Mina flirted.
Oh gosh, they're flirting. I cringed and left the aisle. Don't wanna be third wheeling their cringey flirting, do I? They've been at it any chance they got since they started dating...it's gets more and more awkward every time. At least they weird snogging in public... I gagged just thinking about having to watch. A picture popped into my mind, Denki and I kissing deeply like how Mina and Kiri always do. Weird, the idea doesn't seem disgusting to me. I wonder what it feels like to kiss him? I know I've kissed him before, but that was a quick peck, I barely felt anything. Wait, what am I thinking?! Bad Kyoka, BAD! I slapped myself with both my hands. Like a sandwich. An idiot sandwich. Get it together, Kyoka!
Wait, is that Denki over there? And he's with Shinsou.
(Denki's POV)
I was rummaging through the tubes of paint when I heard footsteps. Oh, it's Kyoka! What's she doing here? I walked towards her.
"Heya, Kyoka! What brings you here?" I waved wildly.
"Nothing, I came here with the squad," she replied, her voice getting more and more monotonous with each word. It was a little scary...
Shinsou came up from behind me and pulled me behind him. "Are you sure you're not here to stalk us, Kyoka-sama?"
Kyoka-sama? Was he insulting her? She hates being called sama!
I could see her clenching her fists and trying hard not to explode.
"I'm very sure I came with the Bakusquad on my own, and I fora fact didn't know you guys would be here."
Shinsou started to lose it. "Oh yeah? I'm sure you decided to stalk us, because you have a lil crush on Kaminari!"
A crush on me? That's not the point, they're fighting, in public!
"Speak for yourself!" Kyoka retorted. "You've been hogging him for two weeks straight! Two weeks without letting him talk with anyone else!"
I turned my head, back and forth. I have no idea who I should side with nor how I'm supposed to break up the fight.
"So what, shorty?" Shinsou spat.
"Shorty? Is that all you got, Aizawa Jr?" Kyoka challenged. How is Aizawa Jr an insult?
The Bakusquad came over to check out the noise.
"What's going on here?" Kiri asked.
"I don't know....they started fighting the moment they met," I sighed.
Mina seemed to know what was going on, I could tell from that weird smile she has on her face. And I don't like it one bit. Does Shinsou and Kyoka have a thing for each other? If that's true, Shinsou is probably my rival. I can't help but feel jealous, okay?
Suddenly the area glowed around us and a weird bluish smoke surrounded us. The smoke cleared after a while and.... Shinsou, Jirou, Mina and Bakugou are...toddlers?!
