(Kyoka's POV)
I shut the door to my dorm room and faceplanted into my bed. If only I could stay here, on this soft creation from heaven, forever. I wouldn't be facing so many problems if that was possible. But I'm a hero in training, sleep is almost never an option once I'm a pro. I grabbed the nearest pillow and screamed all my worries into it and suddenly I felt a lot better. Who cares about the if life gives you lemons, you make lemonade thing. Just squeeze 'em into your eyes. I'm not. I'M NOT, DAMMIT.
I pulled away and took in some deep breaths and noticed the pillow I grabbed. It was the Pikachu pillow Denki had gifted me back at the carnival. I looked at it and felt the anger, confusion, sadness and frustration I felt before. I scowled and flung the dumb toy across the room, which made me feel bad later. I picked it up again. Was I feeling jealous? Why do I feel jealous? Just what is wrong with me? Maybe visiting a friend would help. Maybe I should visit Denki and sort this out, yeah that sounds about right.
As I made my way to Denki's room, something or rather someone bumped into me. I looked up at the face I dreaded seeing most. The Shinsou guy. He gave me a smile that I swear looked fake. There was the smallest hint of hatred in his eyes.
"Oh hey. Jirou-san was it? What are you doing here?" he asked, with that fake smile still plastered on his face. I returned the "smile"
"Hi, Shinsou-san! I could ask the same of you. What are you doing here?" His "smile" turned into a smirk like he just won a wrestling match.
"I live here now, since I'm in class A from now on. I'm in the room next to Kaminari-kun's, " he said, pointing. All I can see now is red. "Now answer my question, what are you doing here?"
"I-" Before I could even reply, Denki's door opened.

"What's all the fuss about? Oh! Kyo, you're not mad at me?" Denki asked.
"No, I was just embarrassed. Did you know about Shinsou moving in next to you?"
"Sure I did. So are we still going to the cafe?"
I nodded shyly then shot a look of victory at Shinsou who's grin had become a small scowl.
"Lemme just grab some stuff from my dorm," I said, waving.
"Sure! I'll meetcha at the entrance," Denki replied.
I don't know why, but I feel a little more excited than usual, nervous even. Eh, whatever. The only thing I should focus on are my grades if I want to become a pro hero someday.
~~~~~~
"EH?! You're serious?!" Denki asked with his mouth agape as we were walking to the café. "You actually went to the Coldplay concert?"
"Yeah, weren't you listening? Or are you deaf?" I teased.
"I'm just surprised. I heard that its difficult to even get a spot at the lawn, tickets sell out fast. Just tell me how you did it, Kyo, please...?"
"A magician always keeps their secrets, Baka-chu."
"Bak-" Denki choked, looking a bit insulted and lost for words. "That's mean..." He pouted.
I nodded. "It suits you." Then I looked away and thought, "Because it's cute, like you." At least I thought I thought it .
"You...think I'm cute?" ACK!!! Shiiiit! You're the baka, Kyoka!! I want to die!!! I tried to say something but no words came out.
"Thanks! I knew going for this style was a good idea!" he yapped. What....did he catch the Aoyama disease or something? Ah well, it's better than a Mineta disease....
I rolled my eyes and laughed it off. I should have more confidence in myself, huh?
(Denki's POV)
Kyoka called me cute! I swear, my heart was skipping ROPES in my chest. Skipping veins? Agh, never mind, that's not the point. But if I don't do something quick, she'll get embarrassed and avoid me again. I rambled off the first thing on my mind.
"Thanks! I knew going for this style was a good idea!" God, I sound almost exactly like Aoyama. My face started to heat up.
Kyoka laughed. My heart skipped a beat, I just heard the most angelic sound I've ever heard in my life. Waaaaaaaah!! SHE'S TOO CUTE, I CAN'T TAKE IT. Suddenly, I heard wedding bells and pictured Kyoka in a wedding dress, an angel?
"Huh? Denki? What's with the weird look on your face? Denki? Hello?"
Kyoka would look good in a veil....I wonder if she'd let me have chocolate fondue and hamburgers as the appetizers.
"Earth to Denki! You in there? Are you possessed?"
If we had kids...two boys, maybe, I'd name them Yuu and Ryuji. But a girl, uh.... Mio?
I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my ear.
"YOWCH! Kyoka, what was that for?!"
"You looked all drooly, as if you've fried your brain and went all Jamming-yay on me."
"Did I? Sorry...I uh, thought of something."
"What did you think of?"
If she knew, she would kill me. "Nothing. It's a man's issue."
Kyoka gave me this eerie smirk. The kind a serial killer would give you.
"Forget it! Let's just order already!" I said in embarrassment. "What do you want? My treat."
"Anything is fine, take this as one of those rare times I actually trust you to make decisions for me."
"Ouch." I joking clutched my heart and headed over to the counter to order. I'll just get her what I'm having and surprise her.
~~~~~~
(3rd person POV)
Kyoka looked up from her math notes as Denki placed a tray in front of her. She raised an eyebrow, a little doubtful. Last time she let Denki get her anything, it uh, didn't go so well. It technically wasn't his fault she had a mild peanut allergy. .
"What'd you get?" she asked the electric user.
Denki smiled. "No, peanuts."
Kyoka smiled a bit as she accepted the hamburger Denki offered her. "Passed and approved. Thanks."
She took a bite of it and her face lit up. "Yum! This stuff is good."
"See? You can trust me when it comes to this sort of thing. I didn't know you were allergic to peanuts last time."
"You're forgiven." Kyoka said, sipping her coffee.
"I see you're enjoying the peanut latte I got you," Denki grinned. He then begged for mercy as Kyoka threatened him with her jacks. "OKAY, OKAY! I'M SORRY, I WAS JOKING! IT'S PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!!"
This guy...just doesn't learn his lesson. Wait, that's normal, he doesn't learn anything, Kyoka thought.
"We should start working on some revisions if we wanna pass," she said putting her coffee and empty plate to the side.
"Hmm, fine," Denki replied, finishing the rest of his burger . He pulled out a book from his backpack and flipped open a page. Then he knitted his eyebrows in confusion at the problems dancing in front of him. "I understand nothing."
Kyoka looked at him. At least the boy was honest, she'll give him credit for that. She looked over at the problem he was looking at. Oh, this was easy, she had gone through the topic with Yaomomo the week before. She carefully explained the question in full detail to the clueless boy who actually listened for once.
"Oh! I get it now!" He reached out his hand to take back the pencil she took from him when she explained the question. His hand accidentally wrapped around hers making the both of them blush.
"S-sorry!" They both said in unison. He hastily scribbled down the workings and proudly showed her his answers.
Kyoka studied the work and nodded in approval. "Well done, you actually got it right for once."
"Do I get a reward?" he asked, his face sparkling.
"What would you like?"
Denki jokingly tapped his chin his thought. "Hmm...I don't know. A kiss, perhaps?" He smiled slyly. Kyoka flushed an even deeper shade of red and flicked his forehead.
"In your dreams, baka!"

The fallen (?) hero and Aži Dahāka's soul fragment
I have to apologize.A certain real life problem that I thought I got rid of has caught up to me once again.I tried to continue writing, but my mind was not in the right track to do so and thus, as some people had said, the quality of the latest 2 chapters had turned from the usual "bad" to "worst". So, I reluctantly have to say that I will be away until I can sort things out.I can't say when, but I do intend to return to writing. I might lurk around to read other people's works though. I will be turning my attention to stories with "tragedy" and "despair". The five of us were summoned to this world from our clubroom two years ago to be made as heroes.Shouldn't forceful summoning like that be counted as kidnapping?Well, we chose to go with the heroes route.After harsh training and battles, not to mention all the killings, we finally defeated the demon lord.However, all those achievements literally became nothing, it wasn't just forgotten, it was erased to be totally nothing as even the written records were somehow being disposed of. I was too naive. Who would have thought that the side we have been fighting alongside with, the side we were fighting for, was the one to bring our demise?After I had to see everyone else turn into nothingness, somehow... I alone survived. Note: I will attempt to fix the grammar problem with the help of lieutenant colonel fletterman. This may delay the release of future chapter. Chapter 1 is fixed. Chapter 2 is fixed.
