《Muichiro Tokito x Reader》Chapter 11 Those Dimwits and the Idiot

The next morning, I had to wake up those lazy low ranks for the train. It wasn't much of a surprise since they were partying all night. Once we finally got to the train station, those dimwits expected ME to pay for their train ticket. I had to go out of my way to wake them up, defeat the demon without their help and pay for their train ticket?!?! That's absurd ! Once I got onto the train, the conductor was blocking the lower ranks' entry to the train.
"Stop, you don't have a ticket to board the train." the conductor said having security guards help him block the entrance.
"Wait but we do ! She bought a ticket for us !" one of the dimwits said, pointing at me.
"Sorry sir, she only bought one ticket today." the ticket seller said walking up to the group.
"That's right, I did. All of you need to get back by foot." I said plainly boarding onto the train.
I sat down on a seat with a window watching with a smirk on my face, as all the lower ranks were crying on their knees and begging at the sight of me to not make them walk. As the train moved, I was smiling at the sight of them trying to catch up to the train, but miserably failing and falling into the dust. A few moments later, I found myself staring outside and zoning out looking at the clouds. I didn't notice we stopped for the next people to get on to the final destination. I was still zoned out when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly turn around and hold a kunai knife at the neck of the person.
"Aren't you Y/N...?" The person said.
I noticed they were from the Demon Slayer corps so I lowered my weapon. They looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on who.

Muichiro's POV
I boarded my assigned train after I finished my mission when I saw a (h/c) girl sitting at a window seat. I decided to sit next to her. After a few seconds of her not noticing me, I decided to tap her shoulder. My eyes went wide when I saw she was holding a knife to my neck with immense speed. She doesn't seem to recognize me.
"Aren't you Y/N...?" I said with my eyes going back to it's usual expression.
She slowly lowered her weapon, I'm guessing she saw my uniform. I was kinda hoping that she would recognize me not as a Corps member but as her friend. Maybe even more.
"You don't recognize me Y/N?" I ask with a hint of sadness in my voice.
She hesitated a bit before answering.
"I feel a strong connection to you. Maybe you could enlighten me with your name, I might be able to remember." she said, now fully facing me.
I took a moment to take in her beautiful features not noticing that I was staring. I was snapped back to reality when I felt Y/N poke my cheek to grab my attention.
"Are you back down to earth yet?" she said tilting her head a slight 20 degrees angle.
"U-um yea what were we talking about again?" I asked, scratching the back of my nape with a nervous chuckle.
"You were going to tell me your name." Y/N said, I was surprised at how patient she was.
"O-oh right ! My name is Muichiro, Muichiro Tokito." shoot why did you stutter Muichiro now she's gonna think you're a nervous freak. I mentally cursed.
"Oh I remember now you're the Mist hashira correct?" she asked, cupping her cheek into her hands.

"Y-yea that's me..." I said with a small hint of disappointment in my voice.
Y/N's POV
I heard a bit of disappointment in his voice, were we more than teammates? Oh that's right we were becoming friends. I put my hand on his shoulder.
"We're friends right?" I asked with a small smile on my face.
"Yea we are." he responded, his face enlightening a little more from his blue expression.
We sat next to each other peacefully for a while until another demon slayer from the corps walked up to us. He was a tall guy but not really of my interest.
"Hey there cutie." the random guy said winking at us.
"If you're talking to me I'm a boy." Muichiro said, nonchalantly sighing.
"No I mean the girl next to you and I know you're a guy." The guy says, touching my face with the back of his hand.
Muichiro slapped his hand away from me.
"Don't touch her with your filthy hands." Muichiro spat, giving the boy a glare of death.
"Well she isn't yours isn't she so she could be mine for the taking." the boy said, reaching out a hand to grab me.
"She's not a prize to be won and to keep." Muichiro said, grabbing his wrist almost crushing his bones.
I saw that man wince in pain as Muichiro tightened his grip, making the pain more agonizing.
"Please leave us alone unless you want more than a broken wrist." I simply stated, now crossing my legs in annoyance.
The boy looked at me in fear as Muichiro let go of him and scurried away. My eyelids started to close as I slowly drifted to a sweet slumber.
Muichiro POV
After that dimwit left I felt a weight that fell onto my shoulder. I turned my head to see that Y/N fell asleep on my shoulder.Wait.... On MY shoulder !?!?! I suddenly felt heat rising up to my cheeks, making myself a flustered tomato. I shifted her head to the side a bit so then she could rest her head on my lap instead. With my sudden movement she curled up into a little ball and fell back into her deep slumber. Once the train announced that we arrived I didn't wanna wake Y/N up so I carried her bridal style off the train and brought her to her estate. Her estate was pretty plain, not much inside. I laid her down onto her futon and tucked her in. She looks so cute when she's asleep. I thought to myself. I bent down and placed a peck onto her forehead and walked to the door, not before having one last glance upon her sleeping form...

Rise
20 years have passed since the Chaos Energy Quake rippled through the Milky Way Galaxy. The galaxy has since moved on from the Quake, but to this day no one knows what could have caused it. The only broadly possible hints lie with the woefully few Chaotics born during the Quake, such as the seven Chaotics born on the world of Nimalia, homeworld of the Nimalian Territories. The other galactic civilizations see little correlation between the Quake and those born during it, but now that the seven have reached the age of 20, some Nimalians think they may be able to finally learn exactly what caused the galactic disruption two decades ago…
