"Giyuu"
"Do you think there's a star up above for me, and only me?" I asked my lover quietly.
He hummed and replied, "I'm sure there is."
I sighed and asked, "What do you think it's like?" Then I looked away from the dazzling night sky and glanced at my partner.
He stayed in silence for a couple of seconds.
"It's warm and bright. The brightest of them all." He responded.
"Like the sun?" I eyed back at the sky.
The male closed his eyes "Like the sun."
I giggled and said, "What do you want your star to be like?" He opened his eyes and confessed "I want it to be small, and not very bright. But still, give hope to those who lose it".
"We're so different. Even in the galaxy." I answered calmly. "Yeah" Giyuu mumbled.
"While I am shining like the bright star I am. You're slowly fading out. When you do fade out people will be left hopeless." I said with tears in my eyes.
"I will be left hopeless."
Giyuu glanced at me and put his hand on my small head.
"You're my sun, and I am your hope. You will always shine brightly. And I will always give people hope. Together we are one, your flame will always keep mine going."
His words sent hot tears down my cheeks. My mouth was slightly agape, and I responded, "that's why you'll never fade out."
His rare smile returned and I chuckled.
"We're keeping each other alive, isn't that wonderful, Giyuu?" I asked him with joy written all over my face.
He took his hand off of my head and brought me into a cozy hug.
"Thanks to your warm soul"
"And our everlasting love"

8 151The Final Dream
This is a D&D style Choose Your Own Adventure story focusing on you (an investigator for the Order of Chaos) as you try and uncover a serial killer within the city of Alderbrand. Your failure could doom the very world itself. This story will continue for the next writathon, I'm putting away time to write for it during the next one. I am sorry that work got the better of me during this one.

8 199Teddy Bear
As it would stand, the truth of the matter was that aliens had visited Earth before. Roswell was neither a hoax nor unique. It was simply a consequence of a world growing smaller as communication systems became more and more advanced, partly a result of said visitations. For the most part, past interactions between one of the planet Earth's more intelligent species of lifeform and the alien visitors were along the lines of obscure scientific surveys and tests disturbingly similar to attempts by some human scientists to estimate the intelligence of simians. For any species capable of travelling the stars. Visiting planet Earth made about as much sense as backpacking through the Ural Mountains of Siberia with nothing but a flint and a compass. That is to say, most people would prefer to stay close to someplace within walking distance of a mall or a population density slightly higher than four sapient beings per parsec. Still, statistically speaking, there are bound to be some weirdos who find joy rides though a nowhere solar system fun. Just buzzing a frantic farmer or two and playing chicken with an F-16 for the heck of it. Maybe even bring home a bovine to show off to the guys at the office.
