《Dark Past: Abuse- Anakin & Ahsoka》Chapter 14: Saboteur or Saviour?

She rushed through the ship, trying to find the exit the mazes they called "hallways". Her dizziness made it difficult to navigate the wide halls, and she had to avoid the clones.
Might as well go grab a drink, she thought. Should help.
She rounded the corner and spotted a water dispenser. She grabbed a cup, filled it, and greedily drained all its contents. Feeling slightly better, Ahsoka began to run to the end of the hallway- but stopped herself. She felt something cold. Bitter. Icy. She peeked... and drew back in shock.
Kina! She felt hot rage boiling inside her. What was she doing? Why was she here? Ahsoka slithered up the wall and clambered over to where she was. Kina was tinkering with the power grid, and sparks were flying. She had a face shield and was very focused, pulling wires and rooting out the capacitors.
Zzzzzzt
The lights went out, causing Ahsoka to breathe heavily in shock. Kina turned around suspiciously, her eyes darting from side to side. Seeing no one there, she sighed in relief and scuttled away.
"Snips? Ahsoka?" Ahsoka jumped in surprise, then landed on the ground, feeling unsteady again.
"I'm here, master." She quickly shoved away her backpack into a corner and tried to look like she wasn't plotting to fight in the battle. Anakin turned around, smiling.
"Someone turned the lights out." He mused, but to her surprise, he didn't seem angry. Rather, he looked content.
"Yeah, it was-
"At the exact right moment, too. A Separatist capital ship a couple hundred parsecs away- a few minutes in hyperspace travel- and it was scanning for electric signals. They probably wouldn't find this simple ship, but it's best to be cautious. Thankfully, whoever turned out the power was as well." He grinned, looking at her.

"It wasn't me!" She exclaimed, almost indignantly.
He thought for a while. "Must of been an accident then," He said unconvincingly. "I mean, nobody else is aboard this ship..."
"Master, you know I'm barely capable of fixing a droid. How could I turn out an entire power grid?" She asked.
"True, true. You did put on the head the wrong way." He laughed. Ahsoka elbowed him playfully. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll have to finish the battle."
He ran outside, not noticing that Ahsoka was trailing behind him. He jumped onto the battlefield, and the nearby B1 battle droids immediately began to fire. He chopped them down with ease as the ship aimed its cannons at another group.
She edged away, slicing any droid blocking her path, until she spotted two OG-9 homing spider droids shooting at some petrified clones.
"Get away!" She ordered. They looked surprised, but said nothing. She leapt onto the spider droid's back, but it fought back, swaying from side to side to through her off. Ahsoka was terrified; not directly of the droid, but the fact that she was feeling extremely dizzy and unsteady. She plunged her lightsaber- but missed, falling into the sand.
How did I miss that? She thought angrily. I should get checked at the MedBay when I'm done. They should be able to prescribe some pills or medicine to help the wooziness go away.
She leapt again, cutting off the spider droid's cannon. She darted to around the fat globe that was the droid's head, until its counterpart could see her in full view. The other spider droid fired.
Bad move, droid. She gloated. Should've thought twice before utterly destroying your friend!
Ahsoka leapt onto the other droid, slicing off the cannon and then moving on to the legs, before it crumpled into a useless pile of metal.

The clones nodded appreciatively, before dusting off their armour.
Probably time to get checked out now, she mused. Before the dizziness befuddles my head permanently. Probably should've re-thought out the idea of fighting when I'm sick.
She crept back onto the ship, before pressing a few buttons to summon an expense med droid. It began to scan her, the yellow light enveloping her thin body.
"Full diagnosis: Sepsi-
It stopped, abruptly shut off. Ahsoka panicked. She needed help with whatever was happening. But before her brain fully processed what to do, it lit up again.
"Separation anxiety. Maybe you are cut off from a mentor." It said. There was something... eerily strange about the way it spoke. A mechanical hand opened a cabinet. "Take some pills of meclizine hydrochloride and scopolamine transdermal liquid. It should help you regain focus." It handed her two pale grey pellets and a bottle of clear liquid, before bowing and disappearing.
"I guess I'll go back on the battlefield." She shrugged, holding the medicine and walking away.
"Not so fast." A voice said smugly.
Ahsoka could recognize that icy voice anywhere. Kina.
"You're under direct orders from Master Skywalker to stay here." her blonde torturer laughed humourlessly, tossing her lightsaber in her hand. It flipped and landed perfectly in her palm every time. Her stance was relaxed. Ahsoka, on the other hand, was tense and cold.
"And you were under direct orders not to board this ship." The Togruta hissed, trying her best not to shake.
"Poor, poor Ahsoka." Kina smirked. "Suffering from separation anxiety! Is it because you left Master Plo Koon? Such a little baby."
"Shut up, you brat!" Ahsoka spat indignantly. "You aren't even apprenticed yet. Who's the baby now?"
At the mention of being apprenticed, the blonde flared up and punched her in the face. She was about to fight back when she exclaimed, "When did you hear my medical report?"
Kina growled. "I wish you didn't notice that." She knocked the medicine out of Ahsoka's hand, then twisted her arm behind her. Angered, the Togruta jumped up, using the girl's stomach for support. As she stumbled back, Ahsoka regained her balance and landed a slap, right on Kina's face.
"You're not getting away." She muttered darkly, then delivered a roundhouse kick that sent the Togruta spiralling into the wall.
"Good luck, Ahsoka..." She smiled devilishly. "I really wish we could see each other again. But I know, deep down, we won't."

Twoen
The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
