"Where's the safest place we can go right now?" Jennifer asked as they dodged the avian dinosaurs left and right.

"Off the island." Lily answered weakly.

"That's not an option right now Goodwin." Jennifer snapped but stopped when Lily fell to the ground, Jennifer held onto her tightly before she collapsed completely.

"What's happening?" Gray asked frantically.

"She's lost a lot of blood. We have to get her inside." Jennifer said. "Help me, lift her up Zach."

"Allow me." a voice interjected. The three looked over to see Owen and Claire arrive. He weaved himself through Zach and Gray and picked Lily up in his arms.

"Lily?" he called to her with a slight shake. She let out a slight mumble but didn't open her eyes.

"Let's get inside, now."

Lily was set down in the control room with Owen holding onto her tightly trying to wake her up.

"She needs medical attention and fast." Jennifer said looking to Claire.

"No one can evacuate the island with that thing running around!" Claire said.

"I think I know of a way we can stop it." Vic Hoskins said walking in.

Owen arose to his feet leaving Lily in Jennifer's care as Vic discussed using the raptors to bring down the raging hybrid.

"No, how many times do I have to tell you? It won't work, that's not what they're training has prepared them for-"

"Do you have any better options right now?" Vic said hotly. "They can hunt and right now we need to hunt down that thing out there."

Owen seemed torn in his decision, he looked down to Jennifer and Lily. "Owen we need to get her off the island." Jennifer reasoned.

Owen sighed in defeat. "Alright."

"Good now-" Vic began but was cut off.

"I'm calling the shots." Owen said before kneeling down to Lily's side. "I'll be back, I promise."

Owen and Barry stood in front of the girls in their restraints as Vic and the other InGen workers waited behind them. Owen held up the ripped chunk of flesh that once held the Indominus Rex's tracker. The girls sniffed it before they began thrashing around and chirping.

"They're ready." he said looking to Barry who nodded. Barry didn't like the idea of this anymore than Owen did but they had no other choice at this point.

He sat on his motorcycle ready to go when the girls were released. The hunt was on.

Lily forced her eyes open to see Jennifer sitting with her on the floor in the control room. Lowery was looking at the screen intently.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"Lily!" Jennifer grinned in relief at her. Lily sat up a bit, slightly dizzy as she held her head. "Easy there."

"Where is everyone? Owen, Claire-"

Jennifer frowned. "Lily, they're using the raptors to track down the Indominus Rex."

"What?!"

"Owen is with them. Claire is outside with Zach and Gray."

"This isn't good." Lily said attempting to push herself up.

"Lily you need to rest."

"Rest? At a time like this?!" She stood up finally placing all her weight on her good leg. "Jennifer, I don't think you guys understand what we're up against right now."

"Lily...Lily..where are you going?!" Jennifer asked jumping to her feet.

"To the lab."

"Lily-" Lowery stopped Jennifer.

"I think she's already made up her mind." he said.

Lily used the wall as support as she headed down the hallways to the lab. Inside, she saw Dr. Wu collected several vials.

"What did you make ?" she asked him slightly startling him.

"Dr. Goodw-"

"What did you make...what is that thing?!"

"You look hurt, perhaps you should sit down.." he walked over to help her sit.

"Don't fucking touch me!" she snapped. "What did you create out there!?"

Dr. Wu's expression darkened. "I did what I was asked to do." he said." I did my job."

"Your job? I thought it was your job to create dinosaurs, not terrorizing monsters."

"I created a hybrid which was what my job here as head geneticist is. You did your job in this too, Dr. Goodwin, or did you forget?"

Lily frowned. "You all tricked me. I thought I was helping settle a debate, not giving you ideas to create that thing."

"Doesn't pay to be a know-it-all, all the time now does it?"

"How could you just stand here and be so calm when there's all that destruction going on out there? People are dying."

"That's what happens in a field trial." he shrugged.

Lily's eyes widened. "That's what this is?! A field trial?"

She thought of Vic's interest in the raptors that Owen had told her about and then Dr. Wu's work with InGen.

"Innocent people are dead and Owen's out there now with the raptors...oh my god..the raptors...you used Velociraptor in... you son of a bitch! That's a death sentence!" she lunged at him but with her injuries Dr. Wu was easily able to over power her pushing her to the ground. She tried to get up but she couldn't.

"I guess you should have listened to your pal, Winston, huh?" he said with a smirk. Suddenly, there was a loud clang and Dr. Wu was on the ground.

Lily looked up to see Winston holding up one of the lab trays in hand. He dropped it with a loud clatter.

"I've been wanting to do that for awhile now." he said before limping over to Lily.

"You alright, dear?"

"Yeah," she said, "I'm so glad to see you!"

Winston helped her up and they headed out of the lab, leaving Dr. Wu's unconcious body on the lab floor.

"We're limping buddies." Winston said trying to make light of the situation. Lily smiled with a small laugh before they reached the control room. Lowery and Jennifer's faces were filled with horror.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked.

"The..raptors...they're not on our side anymore."

"What?"

"They're team Indominus Rex!"

Lily groaned. "I should have just stayed with bones." she said to herself. "We have to go help them."

"You're not exactly in the condition to do so!" Jennifer reminded her.

"I don't care, Owen's out there and so is Claire and her nephews."

"Why are you so incredibly stubborn?!" Jennifer asked helping her out of the room.

Lily smirked at her as they headed down the hall. "You think your parents will still be thrilled about you working here?"

"Shut up Goodwin."

When they reached outside, they didn't see Claire, Owen or the boys. They glanced around when Echo suddenly jumped in front of them with a screech. Jennifer screamed but Lily threw her hand over her mouth. She slowly lowered her hand.

"Lily, I want to go back inside."

Echo snapped at them taking a step forward.

"Jennifer look down."

"What?!"

"Look down, dammit!"

Jennifer lowered her head.

"Whatever you do, don't look her in the eye."
