(A month later)
Mom POV
I was on my bed, staring at my feet, still feeling hopeless and worried. I heard people outside, holding signs up. There was also the news reporter outside as well. My baby has been gone for a month and they still hadn't found her. The only thing why there intrigued by this case is because this is not a normal case. There DNA couldn't be detected, no tracks were found, no one has seen them. When I last went over to the police station they said this was like no other case they seen...because normal cases show there DNA, tracks, and someone had to see them. I sighed, feeling tears coming down my face. Then my mom came in the room with some pozole for me. I remembered Nayani would love eating that on cold days. "Baby. You need to eat". She said, giving me the soup but I moved away and shook my head. She sighed. "Come on. Comer". She said. I shook my head. Then someone knocked on my door. We looked up and saw chief David. The police man I been seeing about Nayani case..he's trying his best but..still no sign. "Hello Joanne". He said, sitting on my bed. I stared at him. "I have to be going to work. Call me if you need me". My mom said, leaving. I sighed, wiping my tears away. "What do you want". I asked, looking at him. He sighed. "...let's have dinner...just the two of us". He said. I stared at him. "How come". I asked. He smiled at me. "Just...to get your mind off things..make you feel more relief". He said. I stared at him.

Me and David went to Olive Garden. Nayani would always come here for her birthday...she always would love the Alfredo pasta here. I sighed, smiling at David. "Thank you David..for everything your doing". I said. He smiled. "It's my job". He said. I smiled. He sighed, staring st me. I giggled. "What". I asked. He chuckled, looking down. "I'm sorry. Your just so beautiful". He said. I laughed. "Shut up". I said. He chuckled. "I'm saying the truth". He said. I giggled. "Your too sweet". I said. He chuckled. Then he waiter came, smiling at us. "Would you and your girl friend like anything else". He asked. I gasped. "Oh no. We're not t-". "Yes. Me and my girlfriend would like a little more time". He said, to my shock. The waiter smiled. "Great. Take all the time you need". He said and walked away. I looked at David, shocked. "What was that all about". I asked, he chuckled, biting his lip and staring at me. I smiled at him. "...I just don't want anyone taking my women". He said. I smiled, staring at him.

I gasped, making out with David. He opened his door to his house, wrapping my thighs around him. I hummed, taking my shirt off and then playing with his hair. He laid against the wall, breaking something but we didn't care. He walked me to his room where all the Magic's things would happen in.
Nayani POV
I stared at the wall, bored out of my mind. There's no phone, no laptop, no iPad, no tv, no tablet, no books...NOTHING. I sighed, still staring at the wall.
(Time skip)
I stared out the window, watching all the cars drive by and stuff. The only thing that was amusing was kids fighting. They weren't even that good. I laughed at them while pointing at them.
(Time skip)
I laid upside down on the edge of the bed. I groaned. This is so fucking boring. I sighed, falling. I got up, looking around but then my stomach growled. I gasped. "Ooo! Lunch time". I said, getting out the door. I sighed, looking around. "This place is bigger than the anime itself. Damn". I said. Then I started feeling dizzy. I sighed, shaking my head. "No...no...no". I said, stopping and jumping up and down. "No dizziness. No fainting". I said, still walking. Then I stopped, seeing a mysterious room. I hummed, walking inside and looking around. I never seen this before in the anime. Hm. I walked around, seeing weird objects around, trying not to trip. But then...I saw something glowing. I walked over to it and gasped. The gem. The one Diana talked about. I grabbed it and put it in my bag, sneakily walking out the door. I had to get back to my friends now that I have the gem. Now that we have it we can move on to the next anime. But first we got to destroy the bad guy. Right when I was about to leave I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw ruki kun. I gasped, grinning. "Ruki. Sorry sweetie but I gotta go back to the sakamaki. I need to go back with my friends". I said, about to leave but he held my arm. "You wanna go back to those filthy monsters. I'm hurt right now. Why would a beautiful girl like you wanna go back with them". He asked. I giggled. "Awww. You think I'm beautiful. But anyways. I just need to get back with my friends". I said, about to leave again but he teleported us to his room. I groaned. God damn it. He's gonna mess up everything. He sat down, smirking at me. "Sorry beautiful but I can't let you go until our mission is completed". He said. I sighed. And I need to go to complete my mission. I looked at his photo of his parents which made me smile. He walked over to it, placing it down. I sighed, smiling at him. "Your mothers beautiful...i bet she loved you very much". I said. He stared at me. I giggled, walking to my couch. "I got into a fight with my mom...sometimes I feel like she doesn't love me at all". I said, feeling like I was gonna cry. "But you know that's what mothers do right...they do whatever is best for the daughters....even if they regret it". I said. He sighed, looking down. "You'll...you'll sleep here for tonight". He said, walking away. I sighed, staring down.

Risen
Note: Slight edits to early chapters (and removal of one chapter - previously chapter 2) have been made 2/2/21 The city, my city, had once been alive in a way that was hard to describe. Thriving, active, hopeful. Vibrant. But life, as I had come to learn, sometimes possesses only the most tenuous of grasps. Finally, in the end, it became my city - mine alone. I was, after all, the only one left. Worse, it was entirely my fault. There was red in my ledger that could never be wiped clean. Not while I still lived, anyway. This story follows Eran, a man who became the opposite of everything he had ever wanted to be; in a world where superpowers began to appear in a rare few, his lack of control over his own power relegated him to the role of a terrible villain - the Reaper, named so for the countless lives that he absorbed and made his own, each only furthering his deadly lack of control. Gone mad with guilt and isolation, he strove for a single heroic act - his own demise. Death was less permanent than he hoped. Centuries later, he woke to a changed world and in a body not his own. Unfortunately, his power came with him. Yet this time, things would be different. This time, he had a chance to bring it under control. He could never truly make up for the things he had done; he could never achieve redemption. That wouldn't stop him from trying to be a hero. Hero
Kuren is just your average boy. He's just been asleep for one thousand years. Heroes and grand epics. Kuren doesn't have the time to think about things like that, nor does he really care. Join Kuren as he wanders the fantasy land of Alurca in search of his lost memories and the reasons behind his lengthy slumber. This is sort of a reboot of Anomaly, the first novel I tried to write. I gave up Anomaly after going to college. I thought about going back to it, but... when I look at it now, it's not very good. It was very edgy and not much substance behind that edge. The story wasn't quite going anywhere since I hadn't given the main character a goal. I had planned out a story, but I forgot to to plan out the details between the beginning and end. So this one's for real. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.
