《Secretly In Love || Dipper X Pacifica》Epilogue

Dipper's POV
Everybody seemed to be quiet. It was a painful quiet. The sky was dark, it seems like in a few hours- the rain is gonna pour.
I was surprised that a lot came, despite the way she acted with the people around her.
The first who read their eulogy was her mother, then her father.
"I remember the day that she was born. Preston and I were so happy." Her mother sniffed. "I still remember the time the first word she spoke- we were hysterical about it then. The first time she walked, then end up having her knee scraped." She sobbed.
"She was strong-hearted person. She would never give-up." She continued despite all the tears that reached into her mouth.
"She was a loving daughter. She's my everything. She's only my source of happiness. I'm sorry that I can't spend time with my daughter when she was still here." She wiped her tears.
"I love you, Pacifica. I'll never forget you, honey." She cried harder.
"She was smiling on her first day on this world, I hope that she's smiling right now." She says as she looks up into the sky.
I didn't notice that I too was crying. I reached for my hanky in my pocket and wiped my tears. This hurts more than anything.
Then next came her father, her friends, then Mabel. She talked about how great she is, and how they became best friends. She cried too.
Then next was me.
I hold on into the piece of paper which I prepared about a day ago. Then I looked into the crowd. I don't think they would like pity.
I tucked the paper back to my coat and cleared my throat.
"Pacifica, she was a great friend. All you could ever ask in a friend was already in her. She was kind, sweet, and caring. I loved her with all of my heart. She was my everything 'till we were nothing." I stop the tears. "She taught me a lot of things. Things that I could never understand alone."
I looked at the crowd and saw pure sadness. Like the guilt was consuming me all over again. Like a stab in a heart. Like a punch in the gut.
"She gave up her life to save me." My voice cracked and tears were streaming down my face. "I should have took that fall- not her. She has so much to live for."
"Things will never be the same without her."

The day ended with a rain. Everybody went back to their respective homes and I spent my hours left holding up an umbrella staring at her gravestone, emotionless.
> > > >
It has been days since her funeral and painful days of suffering the loss. It was all hard to take in, especially that I fell for her. It was more than just a burden. It was so much more. More pain, more guilt.
I sat on my bed, just staring outside the window. The sky showed blended colors of orange and blue- signaling that It was almost night. It looks scary, but at the same time fascinating. I think to myself, how is that even possible? Something scary could be beautiful in a way? Then it hit me real hard. It was after possible. It was Pacifica Elise Northwest, my miracle.
I curled up into a ball and lean on our wall. I couldn't take it anymore.
I push all my weight down to my legs and slam the door open. All I could think of was running. Maybe, just maybe- it'll make me okay. But I know that It was far too impossible to be okay from what just happened to her.
The first thing in mind that came to me was the woods.
My breath was starting to cut short, but I still ran anyway. I tripped into a stone and scrape my knee. "Ow," I grimace in pain. "Dang it." I lean into a tree to support me. I hug my knees, and stayed like that for awhile. I have never been this tired before, despite all the sleepless nights I've been in.
Suddenly, everything slowed down and faded into a color a black and white. "What the-?"
A faint light shines which blinds me for a second. A triangular shape appears from the abyss of deep space.
A maniacal laugh echoes through the woods which deafens me for whole four seconds. I'll recognize that voice anywhere.
"It is good to be back!" He says excitedly. His eyes land on me.
"What do you want, Bill?!" I scream with all of my energy that is left in me, but it only comes off normal, since all my energy was used up in sleepless nights, regarding to what had happen.
"Here's the deal kid. We all know what happened to Pacifica, and I know what you've been through." He says, trying to sound sympathetic about it, but fails anyways. Nothing can ever change that triangle's emotion. "And it isn't easy. I know."

"What are you trying to say?" I crossed my arms.
"I'm here to offer you a deal, of course. What else?" He says, as if he just dealt with a second grader.
"What deal?"
"Anything you want!" He says excitedly. "Do you want to save her?" He smirks.
"What?" I stood frozen on my ground.
"I gave you a clue kid! Don't be dumb." He annoyingly says, "Well, what do you say?" He rotates around me.
I think about it for a second. "Would she be like a zombie? From all the bringing her back?"
"Of course not! That's foolish." He gives me a look. "Turn back time perhaps? Wishing that it never happened? All will be back to normal?" He smirks.
"What do you want Bill?"
"It's just a tiny favor. We can discuss it later." He looks at his watch which appeared in a blink of an eye. "Tik tok kid. I don't have all day. These chances don't happen everyday."
I think about it for a second. Making a deal with a demon sounds pretty intense and dangerous. Everything went wrong the last time. But this will be my only chance of saving her. I'm just giving back the favor.
"I want that fall to never happen. I wish Sprott and his other members never thought of destroying and taking over the world." I say finally.
"Hmm, sounds good to me." He says, reaching for his chin. "But- I'll only do all of that in one condition."
"What is it then?" Sounding desperate for the answer.
"She won't remember you nor your sister. She won't remember you coming into this town. Everything that happened between you and your sister with her will be gone. Everything that happened with the cliff and taking over the world will be all a bad dream."
"What? Why?" I took a step back. Demanding for the answer.
"The reason will be my favor from you." He says simply. "But who cares if she won't remember you? As long as she'll be okay right?" He was right. "So do we have a deal?" He extends his hand.
As long as she'll be okay. Everything will be back to the way it was. I extend my hand to his and our hands gets engulfed with a blue flame.
"Great choice kid." It was the last thing I heard before everything swirls into a circle and my vision blacks out.
> > > >
"Dipper, Dipper," A voice calls me as groan. "Wake up Dipper." A very familiar voice wakes me up.
"What, Mabel?" I ask as I pull my blanket from her.
"I just had this craziest dream." She says dramatically. "Pacifica was in it."
My eyes went wide and I immediately stood up. I let her talk.
"She fell off a cliff."
"I think it wasn't a dream, Mabel." I say as I put my hand on her shoulder. "It all happened yesterday."
"What? What are you talking about, Dipper?" She asks with a puzzled look.
"Call Wendy and Soos."
> > > >
They remembered it all. We all walked into the doorstep of the Northwest Mansion.
"You knock," Soos says as he lightly.
"What? Why me?" I ask as I shot them a look.
"You're the one who wants to talk to her." Wendy says,
"Fine." I let out a sigh as I gather up all of my courage. I knocked on the door. We can hear muffled voices inside.
"I'll get it." It was her voice. The door opens and reveals her. "Hi Soos, Wendy. What's up?" She smiles at them.
I have never felt so relieved in my entire life. Seeing her alive was the best thing to ever happen to me.
"Who are these?" She refers to us. I felt my heart tear into pieces.
"You don't remember us?" My voice breaks.
"I'm afraid not." She says as she furrows her eyebrows at us.

Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
