[Long Chapter]

Dipper's POV

e all spread out as we heard footsteps moments later. Mabel and I hid behind a huge boulder while Soos behind the tree, expecting the unknown man to not see him there in such body mass, I mentally face palmed myself. Wendy hid above the tree, where Soos was hiding, and Pacifica was behind the Boulder across us.

The footsteps became louder in every second, sweat was already running down my face. Who could it be? Or worse, What could it be?

After a few seconds he was already in our area, we prayed that he wouldn't suspect anything fishy about this place.

"He's a man!" Mabel's eyes widen as I covered her mouth to shut her up.

"Quiet, Mabel." I scowl at her as I glance at the mystery man. He's features were quite familiar. "Wait isn't that," I say as I realize.

"Sprott!" Mabel and I say in unison as we exchange a look of disbelief each other.

"The man, who you got Waddles from!" I say out loud. "Why would he do this? Stealing boats and I don't know?" I say, utterly confused to what is going on.

"But why would he do that? He's just an ordinary guy." Mabel ponders, "Wait, he did became a member of the Society of the Blind Eye." She shrugs.

I look across Pacifica and she looks confused just like us. Our eyes meet, "Be careful, stand down." I mouth as she nodded back. I hope Soos doesn't seem visible than he think he is.

"Hmm, I know it's here somewhere," Sprott says, as I take a glimpse at him. "Dang it! Where is it." He says, frustrated.

"What is he looking for?" Mabel asks me,

"Seriously? You're gonna ask me that?" I scowl at her.

"What? I'm a curious kid, okay?" She rolls her eyes and folds her arms, while I let out a sigh of frustration.

"Well, well, well. . ." A voice says, Mabel and I froze at our spot. "Dipper and Mabel Pines," We all turn to him slowly, and there's a smirk present on his face. "What brings you here, kids? I know you're there 'Question-shirt-guy'," He points to the tree, clearly referring to Soos.

"Aw man!" Soos says, "That was the most excellent hide-out I ever had in my life."

"You too, Corduroy." Sprott says, not even taking a glance back at the tree. A sigh could be heard as she climbed down the tree. "What a pleasant surprise, What are you meddling kids doing here?" His tone darkens,

"You're stealing boats! Why are you doing that? Do you have any idea how many Fishermen lost their jobs, because their boats are missing and couldn't afford to buy one?" I say, "And what's with these monster cave?" I point to the dark abyss. "What are you planing?"

"I just want power, domination and money, kid." He says as chuckles, darkly. I could here Pacifica, Mabel, Soos, and Wendy gasp behind me.

"And you steal boats? How would that even help you for total abomination?" I scowl at him. He's going nuts man, I'm telling you.

"This is just phase one kid," He laughs, "Stealing boats of fishermen will cause them to stop working and people will be forced to buy from us farmers, and that's how money come in, kid." He smirked.

"I thought you wanted it all by yourself?"

"I do, child." He says, "The closer the people with money, the easier I get to steal, right?" He laughs maniacally.

"Phase two will be rather- dark."

"And you think we're afraid of you?" Pacifica speaks up.

"And what? You're gonna stop me?" He chuckles, swinging his head slowly in disapproval.

"If we logically approach this, there are like five of us against one, which is you." I say determinedly, while letting out a small chuckle. The gang standing behind me.

"And whoever said I'm the only one?" He laughs and four caped individuals stand behind him. They all remove their hoodie, and there faces are revealed; The Woodpecker's husband, Toby Determined, Bud Gleeful and Skull Fracture Bouncer.

"Oh no."

We we're all tied up in this huge tree. This scene literally happened, weeks before. It happened when we found out about the Society of the Blind Eye, and we were tied up as well. Talk about coincidence. What freaks me out is, the members are still the same.

"Let us go!" Pacifica squirms beside me, struggling to be free of the rope tying all of us. "When my parents find about this, they'll sue you! I'll sue you!" She demands.

"Ooh, we're so scared." Sprott mocks her and the others laugh.

"I thought you were cool dude!" Soos screams at the Woodpecker's husband.

"I'm cool, very cool." He whispers to him, but very audible to us.

"They do know, that they were the same members of the same team right?" Mabel whispers to me.

"I don't they know. We erased their minds about it right?" I reply, reminding her.

"Oh right." She nods and turns her attention to the men in front of us. "Why are you guys doing this?" Mabel asks,

"I'm always bullied around." Toby Determined says and frowns. "I want Shandra to notice me, too."

"I love power. Always have and always will." Skull Fracture Bouncer cracked his knuckles.

"I always wanted domination," Blind Ivan says, "And I want to perform worldwide, or do I?" He ponders.

"I want to legalize the marriage of a Woodpecker and Human." The woodpecker's husband says, obviously.

"I want money," Bud Gleeful says, "and my son wants to have you this." He says as he hands Mabel envelopes, probably love letters.

"Get that away from me!" Mabel squirms, avoiding the letter.

"You guys are doing this for silly things!" Wendy screams.

"Silly things?!" Sprott screams, "Our plan is not silly! This is silly. Evading everyone's business." He scowls at us. "So if you don't mind, we have business to finish." He says as they leave us. "I hope you'll make it out alive here, I heard there's a monster on the loose around here."

"You are not controlling the monster?" Soos speaks up.

"Of course not. why would I?" He says, "Oh, here it is, I have been looking for it for a while now." He says as he picks the hat from the ground. "Good luck." He smirks and leaves with his group.

"What? No no no no!" We all say in unison as we panic. We could here them laugh as they leave us.

"What are we gonna do now Dipper?" Pacifica asks me, "I don't want to be Dinner!"

"Don't worry. We're gonna be okay, Pacifica." I say, as I reach for her hand. I'm also scared, I have to admit. Who wouldn't be if you know that you're gonna be a snack!

Her breathing slowed down, "Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure." I smile, "I'll protect you." I struggle to reach for her forehead and kiss it, despite the rope tying us.

Her cheeks show a shade of pink and Mabel nudges my elbow, smirking at us. "Aww, true love." She teases.

"Wendy, do you still have your axe?" I realize.

"Oh, right! Thanks for reminding me." She struggled to reach for her axe. "Got it!" She smiles and cuts the rope, then in a beat we were all free.

"Come on guys, we have a town to save."
