*****Warning! Mentions of blood, and flesh towards the ending********

Dear diary, these last few weeks have been rough, Bonnie is still missing, my magic is acting weird, which caused me to accidentally put Matt in the hospital. I haven't felt this stressed in like...ever. Damon, bless his soul, is doing his best to hold me together , and help Stefan find my cousin. On top of all of that, two vampire siblings called "Originals" have entered Mystic Falls. They're acting all cordial, but I just know they want something. Anyway, Caroline is on her way to force me to shop for my dress for the Miss.Mystic Falls competition...pray for me

-Blaise

So here we are at 8 in the morning, shopping for the Mystic Falls Festival, the mall is empty as all hell. Which I'm not really complaining about, considering the mall is usually filled with creeps. My eyes wander over to a section of earth tones, each one more fancy than the last. All decorated with laces, iridescent colors, some had bright shimmery fabric, and fell to the floor. Of course Caroline was playing it safe with the basic colors, she was picking out anything that matched her blonde hair and blue eyes. I loved Caroline, but I wish Elena would have come with us, she's the only one that truly understood my depression.

"So the other day, Tyler totally ditched me for his uncle, we planned that date night for a week and half. It's not like I sprained it on him at the last moment, like I get family is important, but what about us. His uncle just shows up out of nowhere, and I've been there from the beginning of everything with him." Caroline babbles, she's got a point, she really does care about Tyler, but I don't see the point in complaining about it. It's not gonna change that fact that at the end of the day Tyler is gonna choose his own personal life over his relationship.

"Yea well Tyler has always been selfish like that, why even invest yourself into a relationship if you're gonna be half ass about it." I say rolling my eyes, I didn't mean to instigate, but I was just being honest. Caroline was a good girlfriend, and if he didn't wake up, someone else is gonna end up sweeping her away.

"Oh my gosh, you're right, you know what? Maybe I should pull back some, it's time for him to start working just as hard for my love, the way I work for him." Caroline declared, a determined look in her eyes, as she looks off into the distance no doubt plotting on how she's gonna get back at Tyler for being a stupid jock, someone's cold hand grabs on to my shoulder I nearly jump out of my skin.

My whole body tensed, an ice cold feeling shooting up and down my spine. I whip around to meet two big chocolate brown eyes, I would have been fooled if I didn't have any experience with Vampires.

"Wow and here I thought the only color you owned was black." The taller brunet said, sarcastically, she tried to feign happiness, but her eyes said she was bored.

"Kathrine...what's brought you out of your crypt so early in the morning." I greet her, my tone dry, I don't hate Kathrine that much. She's just so...sketchy, I can't trust her.

"How are you always able to tell me and Elena apart?" She questioned, looking at me with weary eyes.

"Oh I don't know, maybe it's because your eyes are dull, you're deathly cold skin. Elena may be depressed, but she's still more warm than you are, and Elena never curls her hair." I said giving her a thoughtful look, actually I could keep going down the list of differences. Elena is always frowning nowadays, Kathrine is too, but Katherines frown is more of an annoyed glare. Like she hated everyone.

"What do you want Kathrine?" Caroline demands jumping straight to the point. Kathrine stepped forward, and so did Caroline, her arms at her side, fist balled tightly.

"What I want is to rip your throat out, and suck the blood from your heart...unfortunately I've been ordered to play nice, and he did convince me well." Kathrine clenched her teeth, trying her hardest not to snap Caroline's neck, and kill Blaise. If she wasn't compelled to be here she wouldn't have been, and then Damon made his promise to her as well, in order to get Kathrine here to keep an eye on his girlfriend Blaise.

If she was being honest, Kathrine was very much jealous of Blaise, Damon never looked at her like that, or any woman for that matter. Kathrine wasn't dumb, it was obvious why he was so smitten with her, she had such a perfect balance of light and dark. However she notices how Blaise's darkness seeps through a lot, even more now, than before. Damon is a sucker for a girl with a dark side, that's one of reasons he and Elena didn't last. Blaise was definitely a wild card, you'd never really know what she was feeling, unless she said it out loud.

"He?" Caroline asked, her perfect blonde eyebrow curled upwards. Kathrine smirked, she probably shouldn't have said anything, but she couldn't help herself.

"Damon, promised me something very special if I came and played house with you." Kathrine's tone playful, it was very suggestive, but whatever she claimed Damon promised her, could be anything. She could also be lying, something she does well. If you blink in the middle of one of her tall tales, you might actually believe it.

Caroline scuffs at Katherine's sketchy claim of Damon doing anything for her. I shrug my shoulders, it did burn me very much that she even had my boyfriend's name in her mouth, but I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction.

"Blaise, you're okay with that? I bet she's just waiting to get her claws into Damon again." Caroline argues, clearly not wanting to take anymore disrespect. I don't sweat it though, I take my time inspecting a royal blue silk dress. I liked the cloth, but I didn't like the color.

"I'm not worried about it, you know what they say...once you go black you never go back." I taunt Katherine, throwing her a smug look over my shoulder before walking away. Suddenly there's a sharp shooting pain in my left arm, I drop down one leg, losing my balance. The pain was hot, unlike anything I've never felt before.

"Ahh!" I shouted, some people turned their heads to see what was going on, but the racks of dresses were so tall you couldn't see us. Caroline caught me, as I stumbled downward, she sat me on a bench nearby. The sales lady comes out, and before she could react, Caroline was instantly on it. She compelled the sales woman to turn around and pretend like nothing was going on. She instantly whipped around to Kathrine, of course this was her fault, bad things always happened when she showed up.

"What the hell did you do?" Caroline whispered shouts at the brunet in front of her, Kathrine raised her hands in self defense, though she found the timing of this situation hilarious.

"Don't look at me, I don't know anything." Kathrine tried to defend herself, which she was partially telling the truth. Caroline wasn't asking the right questions. Suddenly Blaise started groaning, her face twisting in pain, her harm was profusely bleeding as numbers started to carve themselves into her left arm.

"What in the Harry Potter?" I try hiss out, I try to catch my breath, I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. My arm was stinging, a weird sharp twisting pain I could feel all in my spine, and up my neck. The sound of my flesh ripping apart made me want to throw up, these weren't clean pretty cuts, it felt jagged. Whatever it was, was cutting into me so deep and fast, I was bleeding everywhere. I could faintly hear Caroline's voice in the background, I couldn't tell if she was talking to me or Kathrine. I saw Bonnie's face flash across my eyes, she looked tired, and dirty, it was tear stains on her cheeks. Her golden brown skin looked pale like she'd been subjected to straight darkness for weeks. I felt tears fall from my eyes, but when I touched my face, nothing was there, my face was dry.

When it was finally over, my vision was blurring, Caroline was hovering over me with her wrist bleeding. I looked over and Kathrine was on the phone with someone, it looked like she was arguing. "You're going to die please Blaise, just take a little bit of my blood." Caroline begged me, tears in her eyes, voice as shaky as her hands.

"No...call Damon, he has to find Bonnie...Damon...has to- he..." The last thing I saw before I passed out was someone's pretty chocolate brown eyes. They seemed warm and kind, so I decided not to fight anymore and let the darkness welcome me.
