I am driving the car at a moderate speed listening to my favorite song. Rocking my head lightly I looked at my kids with a smile.

"Mom, please turn off that song, today I am having an exam and it's distracting my focus," Ananya said in an annoying tone and looked her cute little brother Arjun.

"Mom, it's my favorite song please I want to listen," Arjun whined and gave a mocking look at his sister.

I don't know what to do. I am feeling very difficult to handle these two kids. Ananya was just like her dad, she's very hardworking, intelligent and also aloof sometimes. And my Arjun is just like me, he's cute when he talks and very naughty sometimes.

But yesterday they had a fight because of Vikram.

He said he bought a gift for Ananya and Arjun felt very sad that his father didn't pay much attention for him and he fought with her sister over frustration. I tried to console them but there's no use, only Vikram can clear this confusion between them. Until then I am the one who's going to suffer.

If I turn off the music Arjun will become even more sad, if I didn't then Ananya will consider that I am favoring for Arjun. So I drove fast to reach the school to escape from this very difficult situation.

I am trying my best to make them understand that I am loving them equally. But Ananya became distanced from me after Arjun's birth. She is sharing everything with her dad and not much with me. I am really sad because of this, I have to make her realize that I am loving her more than anyone in this world.

After reaching the school, we got down. Arjun hugged and kissed my cheeks and told bye cutely. Ananya watched us with a kind of dejection and when I reached my hand to hug her she simply said bye to me and prompted to leave. But I pulled her for a tight hug and kissed her cheeks. For that, she smiled lightly.

"Bye Ananya. Eat the lunch, don't waste the food kids," I said waving my hand.

I watched them until they reach to their respective classes and then I quickly went to my car and started to drive to my house. In these ten years, everything has changed just like my life. After twenty minutes of the ride, I reached home.

Seeing my car the security guard opened the gate. I smiled at him and wished Good morning while driving into our mansion.

After parking my car near Vikram's new Jaguar I looked around the garden area, it's so colorful to see the bloomed flowers. Recently I was interested in gardening and farming at home. I instantly took my mobile and captured a picture of those flowers.

Vikram bought this new house for our third anniversary and after coming here I found that I am pregnant for the second time. Vikram was so happy and didn't allow me to go to my mom's house for the labor, he took great care on me just like how he did before.

I went into the house and laid flat on the couch. It's very tiring to maintain a big house like this. Resting for ten minutes I went to the kitchen and filled a plate full of food and came to the living room. I turned on the TV and started to watch some news while eating the delicious recipe that I prepared this morning; that time I heard my phone's ringing, I halfhearted placed the plate on the table and noticed it was my mom.

"How are you? Mom," I asked excitedly even though we talk every day.

"Rithu one good news Riya is pregnant," she said in a happy tone.

"Aww, that's a great news mom," I exclaimed and I felt so happy to hear that. Then we continued our talk about my kids, she complained about dad being so careless in medications these days and so on. I sometimes envy Riya because she's with our family and she can visit them whenever she wants, but I can't.

After talking for some time, I got another call and I noticed it is from Vikram. So I told my mom that I will call her later to attend Vikram's call.

It is almost going to be twelve years since we married but still, I feel fluttering butterflies in my stomach to hear his sweet dominating voice.

"Rithu," he said my name, God... For this past three days, I really missed him and his voice. Vikram went to Bangalore for work and right now he has to be here, but why he's calling me now.

"Where are you? You said you'll be here in the morning?" I asked clearing my thoughts.

"I arrived but my car got punctured, so come and pick me," he told like an order.

After asking where he is, I took my car keys and placed the food in a container. I drove to the place and searched for Vikram.

He's standing beside his car and checking his mobile. I horned to gain his attention and he raised his head and looked at me.

I smiled and waved my hand, but as usual, he didn't. He crossed the road and walked towards my car.

God, what a handsome creature he is!! He is forty-two but still looking like a thirty. He got some gray hair but other than that, he turned even more muscular, manly and handsome.

Literally, I am drooling now.

He asked me to get down so that he can drive the car and I did without saying another word.

"Is everything gone well?" I asked.

"Hmm.... fine," he replied without looking at me.

"What about the car, did our driver asked the mechanic to take that?" I asked again.

"Yeah he did, he will take care don't worry," he answered without having the interest to talk with me and I became silent after that.

After reaching our house, Vikram got a call and he started to speak by standing near the car itself, but I walked into the house without waiting for him because I felt thirsty.

Vikram turned very successful after his Bangalore project. He is very busy and I am the one, fully maintaining the house and looking after our kids.

I went to the kitchen to drink water and my hunger is all gone now. I came out and Vikram walked towards me like he's going to tell something important.

"Do you know something?" he strides towards me.

"What?" I looked at him confusingly.

"I missed you," he stated before crashing his lips on mine all of a sudden.

"Hmm... wait..." I pushed him because I didn't expect this.

"No I can't, I really want this lips," he said and started kissing me like a hungry man. Not only him I also missed him terribly and started kissing him back.

Our kiss turned us hot, he pulled out from the kiss and carried me to our room in the upstairs. He placed me roughly on the bed and towered over me, I smiled and pulled him close to my face for another kiss. We kissed and kissed, Even if we do this for all day, we can't get enough of each other because that much love and passion we are having for each other.

After kissing for some time, Vikram laid beside me, but instantly he cuddled me giving no chance for me to go. He looked so relieved and calm while he is in my embrace. But he looked even happier today.

"You're looking so happy, what happened?" I questioned.

"Rithu I am going to tell you that I realized recently," I looked him curiously of what he's going to say.

"When I am without you I am feeling incomplete like I have nothing, if you're beside me then I am feeling so happy and satisfied like I am having everything. You complete me Rithu and I can't describe how much you mean to be," he said and gave a light kiss on my cheeks.

My cheeks turned red for his confession and I hugged him tightly. "Let's stay like this for this whole day," Vikram mumbled in my ears.

"Then your work?"

"There is not much work today and the kids were also not in the home, it's only you and me Rithu," he smirked mischievously.

I bite my lower lip to control the blushing but I couldn't and kissed Vikram.

We stayed like that and talked about our kids, I told about Ananya and he said that she will eventually understand me when the time comes, after all, she's my kid.

"I really missing Arjun and I want to see him. When you said that he became sad after hearing that I didn't buy any gift for him, I am worried Rithu that he will take it as wrong. To say a truth I bought the latest video game and I planned to play with him, but I kept that as a secret to surprise him." Vikram worried.

"Don't worry he will understand you," I thought my kids are really blessed to have a father like Vikram.

"Today I will come with you to get them for school," he said with full of happiness.

I nodded, "Vikram we have to buy a cake," I said because tomorrow is Ananya's birthday.

"Yeah... We will go in the evening," he said.

Though we wanted to stay like only us, we can't stop thinking about our kids. But this is what life is after we became parents we totally forget to think about our self and everything wanted our kids to be happy. Every parent is like that, in that Vikram and I also not an exception.

After talking, kissing and cuddling, Vikram went to take bath and I went to the kitchen to prepare the lunch for Vikram and I ate my breakfast at lunchtime.

Then we started to clean the house, Vikram helped me, we played and talked while cleaning. When the clock struck 3.30PM, Vikram asked me to get ready. He drove the car to a cake shop.

"Vikram let's buy a chocolate ice cream cake, our kids love that," I suggested when he was in a confusion of which flavor to buy.

"Ok, madam," he teased.

After buying the cake he drove the car to the school. When our kids noticed us, they immediately ran towards us. Ananya hugged me and Arjun hugged Vikram.

Ah... I can't understand these kids. I smiled at Vikram in amusement.

"Why dad? You didn't buy any gifts for me, are you hating me?" Arjun asked Vikram and he looked like he was about to cry.

"Oh... Arjun, you are my cute little boy how can I hate you big man??" he lifted Arjun in his arms and kissed his cheeks.

"Do you know, I bought a new video game for you and we're going to play that tonight", Vikram said and hearing that Arjun kissed his cheeks.

"I love you dad", Arjun cutely said to Vikram and I smiled seeing them.

Then I shifted my gaze to Ananya, she looked worried and gave a puppy face.

"What happened, dear?" I asked her.

"I am sorry mom I thought you're only thinking about Arjun so I got angry but you're doing so many things for me. I am sorry mom", she apologized.

"It's Okay my dear," I hugged her.

Finally, everything solved. Then Vikram drove the car back to the house. I seated in the passenger seat and our kids seated behind.

They reconciled with each other and started playing, now it's even more difficult for me to handle them because they will turn the house upside down if they start to play.

After reaching home, Vikram and Arjun started to play that video game and Ananya just sat on the kitchen counter and observed me how I am cooking. My kids are the best!

We had our dinner, Vikram feeds the food to Ananya and Arjun and they enjoyed and had a lot because it's their lovable dad who's feeding them.

Then we watched a random movie on TV. I felt sleepy but they didn't. They were seriously watching the film without blinking their eyes. I noticed the time is 11.50pm and I signaled Vikram to see the time.

He and I moved to the kitchen without causing any commotion and took the cake from the fridge and I placed a candle, lights it.

Vikram carried the cake and we both walked into the living room.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ANANYA...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU....." we sang the song in unison.

Ananya gazed us with astonishment but soon she smiled and hugged us with excitement and we both asked her to cut the cake. We wished and celebrated her 11th birthday beautifully.

We sat in a group and had a chocolate ice cream cake. It's so delicious, then after having some I carried the cake back to the kitchen and placed it in the fridge cause It's not good to have too much at this time.

"Kids go up its time to sleep," Vikram ordered and they halfheartedly went up to sleep.

"Vikram we should sleep too," I mumbled and grabbed his hand and we went to our room.

I laid on the bed and Vikram laid beside me, as usually he pulled me close to him and hugged me tightly.

"I love you Rithu," he said in my ears.

"I know," I said looking at his eyes.

"Thanks for giving me a family and completing my life with full of happiness and love, till death I will love you and our kids and I won't allow anything to hurt our family," he said with happiness filled face.

I nodded my head and smiled. I placed my head on his chest and hugged him tightly feeling his warmth.

I think my life is very beautiful, full of love and joy. I got Vikram, Ananya, and Arjun, they are everything to me. I don't know everyone will have this kind of life, even I didn't know that my life would change like this. I too had a hardship in our married life, I never thought that Vikram will love me this much.

All I had in my mind at that hard time is to never hate anyone and never hurt anyone. Whatever life is, accept it and go through it, you may find it hard first but you eventually develop yourself to face everything, and I think that attitude made my life beautiful. I felt unknown satisfaction and that made me smile out of relief. I closed my thoughts and slept peacefully in Vikram's warm embrace.
