Rithu entered the room, she saw Vikram is sleeping by keeping his head on his mom's lap and she is talking with Raghav's mom.

"Aunty uncle is Calling you," Rithu said hesitantly because she doesn't want to disturb Vikram's peaceful sleep.

Hearing her voice Vikram woke up, "What he wants now I am not going anywhere. Vikram you sleep," Lakshmi aunty said.

"Mom you go I am OK I am not a small child to take this as a big issue," he assured and Lakshmi aunty and Raghav's mom left the room.

After they left, Rithu locked the door and looked Vikram.

"You!! come here," Vikram commanded pointing his forefinger towards Rithu.

Rithu went and sat beside him. She decided not to talk about anything that happened today with him.

Vikram looked at her for a second and placed his head on her lap. She smiled at his sudden gesture. She slowly reached out her hand and started caressing his hair.

"You are really a good man that I have ever seen in my entire life after my father," Rithu said.

"Why you suddenly saying this?" Vikram asked.

"I don't know but I wanted to say this now," she said.

Hearing that Vikram smiled, "I think I am not all good Rithu, I do have a lot of mistakes in me," Vikram said.

"Yeah maybe, but for me, you're the perfect man and that is why I am loving you crazily," Rithu said and kissed his forehead.

He immediately sat up and Rithu hugged him tightly.

"Let's forget about everything that happened today," Rithu slowly whispered in his ears. Hearing that Vikram nodded.

"Rithu we are leaving tomorrow," Vikram informed by breaking the hug.

"Tomorrow??" She asked him in a surprise

"What have you forgot that I am having work, I only thought of four days leave, my assistants were calling me to come and I am having a lot of work Rithu we have to go," Vikram told.

"Oh......" Rithu sounds like disappointed.

"Don't worry I am going to give you a surprise" Vikram said suddenly.

"What surprise?" she asked.

"I am not going to tell you, you know when it comes," he said and again laid in her lap.

"How dare my brother beat me in front of everyone for that bastard.

Ah, I want to do something I want to kill him that bastard I want to kill him..."

"Dad then why you're still waiting to finish him", another person said.

"Yeah I am going to do that," the person said and took his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello it's me, you have to kill a person, his name is Vikram and he is currently staying in our village. See the right time and finish him. Mostly create an accident", he ordered and ended the call.

"You have touched a wrong person Rajesh......." He said and gritted his teeth.

Vikram's POV

Next day I and Rithu started packing our bags. My mom wanted us to stay here for two more days, but there's no way I am having a lot of work over there and I have to go immediately.

After having our lunch we decided to leave. We Were Going to Coimbatore and after getting some things there we were leaving to Chennai in the evening flight.

Rithu got blessings from my mom and dad. And I said that we will come after a month.

After saying goodbyes to our family, my father walked with us to outside he asked me to drive safe. I nodded my head and get inside my car. I can understand that he's so down after that incident. But I hope that he will come back to normal after some days

I started the car, and after driving for sometime Rithu said that she forgot to bring the water bottle. And she said that she's so thirsty.

So I stopped the car in front of the shop but I have to cross the road to reach there.

I got down and said Rithu to wait here.

Rithu's POV

Vikram asked me to wait inside the car but I don't want to sit simply I got down. Vikram was trying to cross the road because it's very difficult to cross this highway where the vehicles were going continuously.

Then suddenly Vikram's phone started to ring and by speaking in the phone he walked in the road, at that time I saw a mini-truck was approaching towards Vikram and he's not even looking at that. I don't know whether to shout or not because it is approaching him at a high speed.

So I ran towards him and before that could hit him I pushed him away but the truck hit me. I don't know what just happened to me. It's just in a mere second and I was thrown in the road. When I fall on the road I felt an immense pain in my shoulder and hip. And I heard Vikram shouting.

Soon the things were Blacked out and I only heard Vikram saying my name and asking me to open my eyes......

Vikram's POV.

I don't know what just happened in front of me, "Rithu" I shouted and ran towards her.

Soon people surrounded us and the truck that hit Rithu was stopped by people and they captured the driver. But I didn't care about anything and held my Rithu.

"Rithu open your eyes, Rithu... Rithu, I cried.

"Someone please call the ambulance", I said chokingly and took her in my arms.

And soon an ambulance came and we rushed to the hospital, after admitting Rithu in the hospital I called my dad and informed this to him. And I also called Rithu's parents and said about the accident, they were so shocked and I felt really ashamed of myself for not protecting my wife.

I sat on the hospital bench and prayed God for the first time.

When I am waiting outside, a police officer came towards me.

"Sir is that your wife who got an accident, we got the information and people over there captured the driver and handed him to us", he said.

"Yes, what he said", I asked him.

"Sir, the driver when we investigated him, he's saying that this is all planned", the officer said to me.

"What??" I asked him confusingly.

"Yeah someone from your family wanted to murder you so they arranged this setup and your wife got into this like this he said", the officer said.

"Who did this", I asked him.

"Sir you have to come with me to talk with that driver then it will be easy for us to investigate", he said...

"Sir I can't come now, no one is here to look after my wife", I said.

"OK, sir we can wait".

While we were waiting my dad and Raghav came, they looked really worried.

"Vikram what happened? my dad asked me worriedly.

I said everything to my dad and he took his phone and called someone. I don't know what is happening here, everything is blank in my mind, at this moment I wanted only my Rithu, she has to come back to normal.

When we're standing the doctor came. I immediately went towards him,

"How is she doctor", I asked.

"Her left arm, hip, and leg is completely fractured, she's alright but she's still in the unconscious state, soon she will come back to conscious don't worry", the doctor said.

Hearing that I felt somewhat relieved, I asked Raghav to wait here, I and dad went with that police officer.

When we reached the police station, the officer asked some questions with that driver, seeing him I got really angry but I controlled that.

After several questions, he said my dad's cousin name that he's the one who tried to kill me.

I can't believe to hear that. What kind of human he is, how can he think like this, why he's this vengeful, what I have done to be killed. I am not going to leave that bastard, I thought.

Then my dad submitted a written complaint to him and the officer noted the drivers statement, then we along with other constables went to my dad's cousin house to arrest him.

When we entered his house he looked us like seeing a ghost, I didn't delay a second and give a strong punch to his face and kicked his stomach. His son came to beat me but I didn't leave him also and punched him hard.

Then the inspector pulled me away and asked me to be calm down. But I can't how can I be. What if something even more terrible happened to my Rithu, I thought and again tried to beat him but my dad stopped me.

After arresting them the inspector asked us to come when he calls us. My dad informed his lawyer to meet him and he also asked his friend the commissioner's brother to make this case even more strongly against them.

After some formalities, we quickly left the police station.

My dad drove the car and I became total silent because I don't know how I am going to face Rithu's parents. I am restless and tears welled in my eyes.

We reached the hospital and I walked immediately to the room where Rithu is transferred from the ICU.

When I reached near the door, I heard a sudden crying sound of Rithu's mom. My heart just stopped its beating for a second to hear that. I quickly opened the door to see what happened to my Rithu.
