《Fated To Marry You✔️》Chapter-6 I am grateful for everything

I was busy in talking with the contractor in the phone, everyone was preparing for the engagement, Raghav parents were only coming with us cause I want this engagement to be simple and I don't think there's no one more important than my parents and Raghav's family because they are the one who always stood beside me in odd times.
The engagement function is at evening, I was not excited or interested, everything I am doing now is for my parents. But I don't know why my mind was thinking about that girl. I don't even know her name. I never thought I will be in the situation... I thought and decided to get ready for my engagement.
When I am putting my shirt Raghav entered into my room, he dressed very manly and looked handsome. He asked me to give the car keys because he wanted to drive my car and I gave that to him.
I got ready in my white shirt and blue pant, when I came out my mom super busy in talking with Raghav's mom, they looked at me and praised that I am looking good. Then we all went to that girl's house. Raghav and me in one car and our parents in another one.
When I entered into their home it was neat, though it was small but it's very unique, kishore uncle and a man next to him greeted us I was waiting to see her even though I don't know her name.
Then kishore uncle called, "Rithu" then only I realized it was her name, it suits her, I thought and waited eagerly to her.
When she came out of her room my heart just skipped for a moment, she's so gorgeous and beautiful. As I thought she had her shocking look but not that much as I expected.

Then she greeted everyone and smiled. Then her dad asked her to come and stand beside me she slowly walked near me and I can understand she's so nervous.
Then my dad gave me the ring which I bought yesterday after buying my clothes. I put that ring on her fingers gently, I don't know I can fully commit to this marriage. I am doing this only for my parents and I don't know I can love her, or I can open my heart to her.
After putting the ring, I looked at her but she was still facing the ground. Then Raghav asked me to hold her hand for the picture my parents were seeing me I want to make them happy so I grabbed her hand and smiled.
The rest of the evening where everyone talked about me and I also heard that rithu going to complete her master's degree and also she's just 23.
I was sitting and seeing everyone, its a great day and I turned over to see Rithu she was sitting with her cousin Riya and they were talking about something maybe about me, I thought.
Then it's time for us to leave so I stood up and greeted her grandmother she was a nice person then I said goodbye to her parents and her uncle's family.
Rithu was standing I walked near her and said goodbye to her, she looked very calm and there's something that she wanted to ask me but she didn't she said bye and smiled.
I opened the door of my car and looked at everyone and smiled, I looked at Rithu but she wasn't looking at me, I entered into my car and left.
After reaching our home I went to my room and started to pack my things because I going to Chennai in the early morning flight but my mom didn't like this she wanted me to stay here for two more days but I can't. I don't know how I am going to manage to get time for this marriage.

When I came out of my room mom was talking about Rithu and her family with my aunt she was so happy about her future daughter in law then I went to see my dad he was standing in the balcony I went near him, he looked at me and smiled.
"Dad I leaving tomorrow morning", I said.
"Why Vikram just stay here for two more days", he said.
"No dad I having a lot of work it's an important project in my whole career dad and this going to be a reward for my 6 years of hard work I think you can understand me", I said.
"But Vikram you don't have to strain yourself we're having more money and please consider about taking our business and helping Raghav," my dad said.
"Raghav is doing great dad I think he's more suitable than me for our business. And dad I want to ask you something", I said without looking at his eyes.
"What Vikram?"
"Did Rithu parents know about me", I asked him.
"Yeah I have told about you and they didn't think that is a big problem, I think they didn't tell anything to Rithu and I think its the best way. Why we have to confuse her", my dad said.
"Ok dad", I said but I have to say everything about me to her when the right time comes.
Then next day 6.00am my dad dropped me in the airport and he said to care of my health and left. I reached Chennai at 7.30am.
I went to my apartment and laid down on my bed it was very quiet and I am missing my family. Then I prepared myself to leave for my work.

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have.
