《Tippy's Notebook》10 Strongest Supernatural Species

Hi, this is Mekhi.

I was asked by Damon to put together this list of the official rank of supernatural species based on strength.

Apparently, someone in the pack asked him to do this because there's a bit of inconsistency floating around about it, so if you're the one who asked for this... thank you for the extra work.

I elaborate on a few below, but not all. Sorry.

Here are the 10 strongest supernatural species known across all the realms.

-----------

In first place, the elven population ranks as the strongest species. There are many reasons as to why, the first and most obvious being their diversity in species.

An elven creature can be a dragon-shifter, a water nymph, an avian shifter and much more. But they are all still elven and in their primary forms - which carries heights of six feet and above, enormous strength that can level a skyscraper, a connection to natural elements that mixes between magic and science - a single elf is the equivalent of a witch coven.

Elves also have the unexplained, unstoppable ability to rewrite common history, and while they've only practised it one in our realm, the power is unlike any other.

The only reason werewolves rank as second is due to their pack structure.

A werewolf pack can directly impact the strength of the normal wolf which wouldn't be able to face a teenage warlock on its own.

But as more than 95% of werewolves live in packs, the average werewolf is incredibly strong. The basic principle is, the larger the pack, the stronger the wolf.

Werewolves run on bonds and a strong pack bond makes for a strong werewolf - it is that simple.

To add to that, werewolves have the ability to shift into beasts that were once caged to only shifting at night. Since werewolves found a way to shift at any time, their strength and danger levels have increased exponentially.

As wolves, werewolves have a speed just below a vampire's, a venomous bite and the size to make any fight an unfair execution.

Again, this is when they are part of a pack.

With or without others, an educated witch/warlock easily ranks as the 3rd strongest supernatural species.

Spells, though challenging, are near limitless which gives the species the power to do anything they please... once they can find the spell and energy to do it.

But that power is unstable within the inner workings of the species.

Though only a percentage of the species classes as an Ancestral Witch/Warlock, their naturally short lifespan allows for a great deal of power to be generated amongst that class. The more witches die, the more access to power they have.

Though it should be noted, most witches/warlocks do everything in their power to avoid death and successfully do so.

Earth Witches get their power from nature, not necessarily this planet, this is simply the one we live on. But as it suffers, our power diminishes as well.

Relocation is most probable for this class of witch in the coming generations.

Witches are stronger in covens, however, *yawns* due to their natural greed and jealousy, the power structure is as taxing as it is rewarding.

But similarly to the werewolves, the stronger the coven, the stronger the warlock.

The difference is that only 43% of the species are part of covens, a figure which diminishes with each century.

Before the 21st Century, Vampires didn't even touch the top 20 in strength ranking, this has changed in recent years because of the presence of the Kítpivoç Clan in the recent decades.

Unlike any other species, the entire vampire population runs under the same structure. Though there are different clans across the globe, individuals who live on their own and small factions, every vampire answers to the Kítpivoç Clan.

This shift in power has had a ripple effect on the entire species.

Where newborns were rarely guided by their sire's, newborn vampires are now immediately inducted into a clan to learn their rules, practices, history, and are trained formerly, making every new age vampire incredibly strong.

In the past, vampires didn't rank very high because their strongest were small in number - being the first of them who were wrongly thought to be very young.

While we are still putting together the pieces to the very secretive and elusive species, it has become clear in recent years that the species is not as harmless as they were once thought to be.

*takes in a deep breath and lets it out*

The aquatic creatures would probably rank higher if it wasn't so easy to avoid their songs.

At least it is for people with magic.

A nearby siren only has to sing a single note to slit your throat or decapitate you, I feel like that is enough explanation as to why they hold this position.

However, if one is aware of a siren's presence or is prepared for their attack, they can block their song with magic.

If you're not magical, then... you'll die.

This reason is why Sirens previously ranked as the 3rd strongest species, but as species intermingle and witches branch out in current times, they can craft magical tools to block out the siren's song for anyone.

Still, witches are mostly selfish so few of these tools exist.

My advice, don't go too far out when at sea.

Sirens prefer deeper waters, so shallows are your best bet.

...or just don't swim.

This is a surprise to most people but it is an indisputable fact.

There are less than a known 500,000 trolls in this world as they are made from folklore and are crafted from human's imaginations.

I'm not sure how the magic works, but I do know that if a person's thoughts surround a troll enough, one is brought into being - the species of the person doesn't matter.

As folklores die out in this modern world, the trolls' numbers do as well.

However, as they are cast by imagination, their strength usually reflects the fear or wonder that the human's thoughts constructed of them.

I'm probably not the best person to ask about how strong they are and how they use their gifts? I don't even know what they look like.

I just know they're fifth. Moving on swiftly.

I mean this one is really self-explanatory, do I have to go into detail here?

*Damon nods from far away*

*Mekhi sighs*

Giants are simply really tall versions of humans, like 15 ft and over. Other than that, their bodies function just like humans'.

The only difference is that they are very strong physically.

If a giant picks you up and squeezes, you're dead.

*looks at Damon* Is that enough?

*Damon nods*

While fairies live in little hovels and look 'cute' from the outside, they pack a strong punch.

Their magic is one that runs off of physical items and not spells or sourced magic, which is annoying because the energy running through their colonies would make any earth warlock excited. And they don't even use it.

Again, I really don't know the finer details about their magic or how it works exactly.

But, if it helps, I stole a branch from a fairy's elder tree once and that encounter was all I needed to know about the fairies.

*sighs* ... I still have the scar

Well, yeah.

That's the list of the current 10 strongest supernatural species, according to the Supernatural Board. I believe it was last June so it's pretty accurate.

I'm going to put it down below as a single list for accesibility.

Now please don't ask anything else, it's my day off.
