The days that led up to the battle were long and filled with anxiety. That following Monday everyone including Leila was preparing for what was to come.

"Let's go kick some ass!" Leila chanted.

"You do realize that you'll be staying home with my mom right?"

"What? How come?" Leila whined

"Leila, I love you for wanting to help. I truly do."

"Then why can't I ?"

I sighed. "Not only are you human, but you don't have any experience with weapons. Plus I would feel so much more at ease if you stayed at the house and kept my mom from losing her mind."

Leila's pout lessened and she cracked a smile. I smiled back at her and gave her a tight hug.

"I just got something super useful!" Kai said in a sing-song voice.

"What is it?"

Kai held out his hand and tapped his palm twice. We all watched in amazement as what looked like a hologram of Astrazia's HQ appeared.

"Nice! Where did you learn that?"

"I found it in one of my dad's family grimoire. Totally convenient, right? It took a while to learn though since I've never actually been to their HQ."

Noah came up behind me to take a look.

"Are we going for a subtle attack or are we fucking shit up?" he asked

"Fucking shit up, duh."

"Good choice." Kayden chimed in with a smirk
