After I was done cleaning things up in the living room I called everyone and asked them to meet at the house. I waited until everyone was here before I began. While everyone was piling in Kai pulled me to the side.

"Are you okay?" Kai asked grasping my shoulders.

I giggled. "I'm fine! I already told you guys I haven't had the urge to take a bite out of anyone."

"That's not what I meant and you know it!"

"What are you talking about?"

Kai sighed "I'm talking about the nightmares. I spend most of my night here and sometimes even in the same room- the same bed! Did you really think I wouldn't notice the nightmares you've been having?"

I leaned against the wall and swiped my hand across my face.

"I keep having the same dream about my death. It's like the impact, and my bones cracking, it's all on replay. I always feel silly after I wake up. I have all this power yet I let a dream scare me."

"It's not silly! Vanessa, you died. You can't expect everything to go completely back to normal, hun."

I looked down and Kai pulled me to him.

"I love you. I'll be there whenever you need me. Whether you need me to kick someone's ass, help you get through a nightmare, or even get rid of all the monsters in your closet, I'm here to help."

"I love you too. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Kai laughed " Who knows. Let's go, I think all your guest are here."

I walked to the center of the living room and cleared my throat.

"I thought I should update everyone on the situation at hand. Zion apparently knows that I'm still alive and he's waiting for the opportunity to finish what he started-"

"So you want to attack before he can even try to," Tony said with a smirk

"Exactly."

"Got any plans?" Mason asked

"I was thinking about letting Zion see that I'm alive with his own eyes."

Kai blinked slowly. "That's a good plan if you want to get captured."

I nodded eagerly. "That's exactly what I want!"

I chuckled as everyone looked on at me incredulously.

"Think about it, they still don't know about my most recent transformation or about the fact that I not only have witches but vampires and werewolves in my corner. "

Leila snorted. "That's like the ultimate team."

I laughed. " Isn't it though?"

Dad thought it would be good if we talked about strategy, so Dylan's pack offered to prepare space for us at the main home. Of course, they weren't too happy with the fact that vampires would be accompanying us and the vampires were just as excited about it as they were, but they all promised to behave.

I was relieved about their mutual agreement to play nice. If they couldn't handle playing nicely with each other, then how could they be expected to fight next to each other? Meeting everybody was great but hectic. There were so many faces and names to remember on both sides. At the end of the day, my brain was fried. It was worth it though, everybody was freely talking to each other and teasing each other in a playful manner soon enough. It made me smile to see everyone together.
