《Twice Bitten ✔》Chapter 25

My throat tightened as Vanessa walked out. I wanted to run out of the class and apologize. I wanted to take everything back. I wanted to promise to be and do better.

"Are you good, baby?" Bianca asked, rubbing my arm.

I sighed and packed up my bag. " Meet me at my house later."

Bianca flashed me a sultry smile. "Yes, sir."

I walked downstairs when I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door to find Bianca in the skimpiest outfit I've ever seen. If this doesn't get my mind off Vanessa, then I don't know what will. Twenty minutes later, Bianca has her head on my chest, both us panting slightly.

"How come we never make love?"

Her question throws me completely off guard, and I'm not sure if I've heard her correctly.

"Huh?"

Bianca lifts her head to look at me

"We always fuck, why can't we make love?"

Why does she have to go and make things complicated? I honestly don't want to hurt her feelings, but she has to understand that our relationship isn't going anywhere beyond sex.

"Bianca, we don't make love because that's not us."

"What do you mean that's not us," Bianca demanded

I let out a frustrated sigh. "All you and I will ever be is fuck buddies."

Okay so that came out a little harsher than I intended, but what else was I supposed to do? I saw hurt flash across her face before she narrowed her eyes at me.

"You can't seriously still be in love with Vanessa!" she outraged

"Of course, I am! I've always loved her, she was the only one!"

"Then why the fuck did you sleep with me?!" she screamed, her eyes filling with tears

"You obviously didn't love her enough to be faithful, so why?"

Bianca was nearly crying now, but she knew all of this from the beginning. I was ready to protest, but she quickly cut me off.

"Vanessa will never take you back, you've cheated on her multiple times, and now Dylan swooped into the picture treating her like a princess, can you really compete with that?" Bianca smirked

"She'll reject you, and you'll come running straight back to me,"

That was the last straw, and what she said only made me even more determined to get Vanessa back. I got up and started searching for my clothes.

"Where are you going?"

"Out."

"Oh, well, let me get dressed, and we can head out."

"I'm going alone." I grounded out.

Surely Bianca isn't that dumb. I'm not sure how I'm going to get Vanessa back, but I have to. She's mine, and I'll be damned if I let Dylan Alverez have her.

My jog didn't do anything to calm me down. I was still angry. I was angry at Bianca, at Dylan, but above all, I was angry at me. I sat on the edge of my bed when my phone went off. My body trembled with anger as I opened Bianca's message. There was a picture of Dylan and Vanessa with the caption: She was mine and yet she was with him. Showing him a face that was only I was meant to see. A gaze filled with so much love and adoration. I let out a roar of frustration and threw my phone across the room. I winced when I heard the crack. I walked over and picked it up, tapping on the screen a few times. It seemed to work for the most part. I opened my contacts and dialed Derek's number.

"You owe me, and I'm ready to cash in a favor. Gather up a few guys and meet me at my house."

I hung up and dropped onto my bed. I scrunched my eyes closed as I tried to regain my temper. I took a deep breath and felt myself calm down when the realization settled in. Vanessa was still mine. I just had to let Dylan know that.

"What the hell did you call us over here like that for?" Derek asked as he sat down on my couch.

I watched in disdain as his boys lingered behind him.

"I want you to rough someone up for me."

"Who?"

"Dylan Alverez."

Derek whipped his head around to look at me.

"Are you crazy?!"

I raised a brow. "Is there a problem?"

"Hell yeah! That's like asking us to die for you! And that just if we're talking about Dylan! You know his brothers are never too far away. The whole family sticks together!"

I shrugged my shoulders. "That's not my problem. Might not want to owe people favors."

Derek grimaced and nodded his head. He showed himself out, and his boys followed him like lost puppies. I laid my head back and smirked. Did Dylan think I wouldn't fight for my girl?
