"Harry."

"It's five in the morning. I have classes in the next two hours so I need that two hours of sleep."

"Yes you dork. What were you thinking?"

"You lucky person."

"What?"

"Wh-"

Louis stared hard at his phone after Harry disconnected the call. As usual, his heart thudded in a good way and a smile graced his face at what Harry said. The two hours of sleep didn't seem to come anymore.

The school was usual for Louis. Name callings, tripping in the middle of the hallway or lockers stacked with threats and insults. After the last class of the day, Louis sighed as he removed the papers from his locker. At least he was glad that he didn't have to face Nate or any of his goons today. They had a practice match so it was a lucky day for Louis. Both Nate and his bitchy girlfriend would be at the match.

When his locker was cleared with unwanted trash, he stacked his books inside and closed it after which he walked towards the school gate so that he could go home and sleep. He tried to ignore the name callings and safely made it outside the school. He's not the only one who is bullied but it was not too much for him to handle as long as he didn't let it get to him. Also, no one tried to injure him fully because they all knew it was Nate's job.

A cold shudder passed through him when he thought of Nate. Like something bad was abo-

"Well well, you sure must be happy thinking you wouldn't get to meet me today", Nate's voice made a chill pass through his body, definitely not in a good way.

"Get a life, Nate", he managed to croak out and tried to walk past him.

But he was roughly pushed back to his spot by his arm. Nate had a tight hold on him, one that was enough to leave another bruise.

"I have a life. And it includes humiliating you in every way possible", he smirked nastily.

An emotion of fear flickered in Louis' eyes. What would Nate do today? Tell his girlfriend to lock him up in the girls' locker room again? Pour drinks over him right now? Drown him in the swimming pool?

, a familiar voice said.

But it was mixed with a hint of anger and repression. It held disgust. When Louis turned to look he was surprised to see Harry looking like he was about to kill Nate.

A big crowd soon formed around them when the students noticed the two star-quarterbacks of the rival schools looking like they were going to go after each other's throats any time now.

"What are you doing here?" Louis asked instinctively. 'What could Harry be doing here possibly?'

Harry pried off Nate's hands from Louis' arm and pulled him closer before looking down at him a small smile. Louis looked almost relieved to see him there and Harry wanted to do nothing more than kiss him senseless.

, he grinned.

The students began to question their close proximity. After all, a star player from the rival school was almost hugging the victim of Nate's bullying. This was big news and everyone was curious.

Harry's face turned hard when he turned towards Nate.

Nate's eyes flashed with fear for a second before they turned emotionless again. He just glared at the both of them and walked out of the crown with his goons following after him.

, Harry said and took Louis' hand before pulling him towards the parking lot where his car was.

"Yo Harry!" Louis recognized Liam, as he ran towards them. "Oh hey, Louis, you look pretty today", he winked.

Harry slapped his head out of instinct to which he scowled after.

Harry asked.

"We're having an after-party at Horan's corner. You coming, right?" Liam asked, looking at Harry and then at Louis.

Louis' eyes turned wide at his words.

"Right. You should go and have fun. You guys won right?" he tried to smile.

In fact, he wanted to spend some time with Harry because for what happened earlier but he also understood that Harry's life didn't only involve him. He should be considerate and not greedy.

, Harry smiled at Louis, then looked at Liam.

Liam looked at both of them and grinned, "I get it. Doing the dirty huh?"

Louis looked confused for a moment before he blushed in realization and playfully hit Liam's shoulder, "You shouldn't be talking about it when Veronica's waiting by your car."

Harry pushed him away, trying to hide the smirk creeping onto his lips.

Liam ran away laughing loudly and placed a kiss on Veronica's lips, hugging the life out of her.

Harry sighed and looked at an embarrassed Louis,

"You should have gone with them. They would have wanted their captain to come", Louis softly said, playing with the straps of his bag.

, Harry replied and then took Louis' hands in his making him smile.

"Where?"

And Louis let him lead the way.
