said frowning at his vivid anger that even scares him, "I was just inviting her to my sister's wedding".
"She doesn't need to come". Uzair said taking long stride towards her pulling her away from Ibrahim
"Who are you to decide that?". She argued moving from behind him to stand between the two men, "I will come to your sister wedding, for sure".
"Don't even-". He started
"When is the wedding?". She asked cutting him off
"In a week". Ibrahim said grinning and Uzair was so close to snap his neck, "I have your number so I will send you all the details".
"Why do you have her number?". Uzair asked angrily
"Because I can". Ibrahim said confidently- if he were to die at least he should look cool
"You-". He started
"Perfect! Please send me the details. I will come". She said smiling
Uzair glares hard on her petite figure and his eyes narrow when he finds her in a white shirt and black pants. He almost felt like taking her back inside and away from Ibrahim charms but he decided he can simply take Ibrahim out instead.
"Get out". He ordered Ibrahim
"I will wait for you". Ibrahim said running away like a dog was chasing him
She rolls her eyes shaking her head as she starts to take steps inside but he pulls her back towards him.
"You will not go". He said glaring down at her
She smirks, "Ok. I will go".
"Listen to me-". He started
"Why?. I have asked this many times already, Uzair. Why should I listen to you?". She said trying to free her hand from his grip, "Unless you have an answer to that question don't even dare to order me. I am not your toy that you can throw away when you like and then when you wish to play again you take it back".
She sits with his mother looking through the magazine.
"I was wondering how long do you think a person needs time to heal?". She asked sincerely, "Honestly! After everything that went down and continues to go further down, I used to hold this grudge in my heart and my brain used to ask me to continue living in this pain because that is how it's supposed to be. That I have given a painful life to live in and somehow I don't deserve to be happy because every time I am happy it only ends worse".
She sighs leaning in the couch, "Then I started to think that everything that went down wasn't ever my fault and things were supposed to be taken from us. We are told about death from the day we are born and that souls belong to Him so why is that we hold onto the souls that went away torturing ourselves?".
She continued after a long moment, "I realised the one who was to leave was their destiny however they have left me behind to make my own life. I understand that all the pain, hate and grudge I was holding onto with my life was nothing but my way of dealing with everything. I started by forgiving everyone. I went to my father grave telling him that I will live a beautiful life for him. Then, I started my own new life. 8 years later, here I am in front of you. Isn't 8 years enough time to grief?".
She looks at his mother as her own eyes filled with tears at the thought of her father leaving her in this world.
"It was a scary world and it continued to scare me more. That doesn't mean I stopped living. It just meant that I start fighting now. He stays in my heart, I often cry for him but that doesn't stop my life from moving on. I keep him safe in my heart, wrapped around my heart like my shield. But, I just keep on moving". She said holding his mother hand, "If I had a mother I would have shared my pain with her even if she can't help me. We could have cried together and healed our heart together. We need our mother for emotional support and I learned that not having one caused me to be unstable for a long time".

She went into her room to refresh herself after crying with his mother she feels her heart much more at peace. She prayed her prayer reciting Surah Baqrah in which He says that He never burdens a souls more than they can take and she feels much more comfort from knowing that her tests are only the one she can bear.
She places her scarf and mat on the table taking her phone from the bedside but when she turned she shriek with her phone falling down on the floor to find him sitting casually on the small couch.
Now, the couch isn't small it's just that he is a giant that makes the couch looks small. She stops her mind to wanders and speaks more about his details because that's dangerous for her heart.
"What are you doing in my room?". She asked holding her phone checking if the screen cracks because if it did, she will make him pay for it
Thankfully, it didn't. Maybe it was his lucky day or something.
"Did you forgive what happened 8 years ago?". He asked nonchalantly however he was more than impatient to have the answer
She looks at him watching how his eyes were trained at her, "Yes".
"Why?". He asked taken back from her words
No one should ever forgive anyone for what happened years ago. No normal girl will ever do that.
"Why not?". She retorted rolling her eyes as she looks into her email to find the email from the snow show making her grin widely
His eyes trained on her lips that slowly turns upwards stretching into a breathtaking smile of hers making his heart pounding loudly.
"Why can't you answer it?". He said losing his cool as he strode towards her snatching her phone not liking that she is smiling at the screen ignoring him completely
"What is your problem?". She said annoyed because he was behaving like a child, "Give. it. back".
"No. Not until you answer me". He said stepping back smirking
She wasn't average or short height. Her height was as tall as him so when she moves towards him he ran to the other side of the bed and soon enough they were chasing each other. However, her stamina and patience snapped and she always seems to lose her patience with his presence.
"Fine". She said gritting her teeth halting as she glares at him, "I forgive everything because I understand that even if my marriage ended that way at least I didn't enter into a marriage where my husband didn't even want me. I want to be valued, respect and cared for, not to be disposed of as a speck of dirt in someone way. So, I was thankful that it ended before I went into the death trap. HAPPY?".
"Tumhari zubaan bohat chalti hai". He commented impressed by her thinking but he wasn't going to say it
(You speak too much)
"Kum se kum akal wali baat karti huin, tumhari tarha nahi k fazool ki bukwas karuin jub mu kholo". She snickers crossing her hands over her chest
(At least I speak of wisdom unlike you who opens his mouth to talk nonsense)
"That's it". He said throwing her phone on the bed marching towards her
She glares at him, "What-".
He throws her on the bed hovering over her locking her every movement though she was in shock to do anything for a minute or two. Then, her breathing hitched as she feels his hard rough body against her soft petite figure. His every touch sends waves of shiver courses around her body making it impossible hard to ignore them. And her poor heart, oh God, her fragile heart seems to be running a marathon as she tries to hold it but she couldn't.

No one can control hearts.
"Ab bolo". He said watching her face turning red from anger (now talk)
He had done it. He had done himself a grave crime because he had invaded into the forbidden territory though it was to close that mouth of hers now words seem impossible to escape his own lips.
She turns her eyes towards him narrowing them as she feels his hand playing with a strand of her hair," Tumhari maut ayi hai".
(Your death is here)
He laughs at her words," Kis k haatho?".
(With whose hands)
"Mine". She said kicking him hard on his stomach throwing him beside her as he cries in pain and she hovers over him this time holding him down, "Tumhay seedhay tareekay se baat samjh nahi ati na". She said holding his collar as her eyes turned cold,"Mujhe haath na lagaya karo".
(You don't understand simple thing) (don't touch me)
"Warna kia?". He said trying to restraint all the feelings that were blooming with her over him (or what)
"Batati huin mai". She said pushing him and standing on the ground,"Abhi ja kar tumhari ammi se bolti ho phir dekhte hain kitne baare sher ho tum".
(I will tell you) (I will go now and tell your mother and see how much of a lion you are)
"Chalo tum nae sher toh mana". He said smirking (At least you think of me as a lion)
"Sher bhi sherni k samnay jhukta hai". She said narrowing her eyes at him (Lion bow down to the lioness)
"Meri shairni kaha hai?". He asked hiding his smile (where is my lioness)
"Pata chale ga tumhay. Abhi ammi ko sub bata k ati huin. You aren't scared of her, right?". She said raising her eyebrows (you will know. I will tell your mother everything)
"Dekho hum dono adults hain-". He started (look we are adults-)
"Toh?. Tumhae seedhi baat jub samjh nahi a rahi toh mai seedha jao gi waha jaha se samjh a jaye". She said smirking at his pale face
(So?. You don't understand a simple thing so I will go where you can understand it properly)
"Acha theek hai. Mai nahi karta. Bus ammi ko na batana". He said sighing (ok, fine. I won't do it again. Just don't tell my mother)
"Kasam hai?". She asked (promise)
"Nahi". He said shaking his head,"Lakn mai try karo ga". (No) (but I will try)
"Nikalo room se abhi k abhi". She said angrily ( get out of my room right now)
He sighs walking out of the room and she immediately falls on the bed screaming in the pillow. She didn't want to hover over him what has come over her to be that way?.
After full half-hour cursing, she went downstairs entering inside the lounge to find some guests. She looks at the mother and daughter avoiding him sitting beside his mother.
"Who is this?". The girl mother asked
"She is Heer. She is working for my mother". He said plainly, "This is our neighbour Amna and her daughter Eisha".
She nodded.
"So, what was I saying?". Amna said thoughtfully, "Oh! Yeah. So, I was watching television and the news showed that the teenager committed suicide. I mean they weren't even in the real world like us to be like that. Today generation kids are so weak".
She turns to watch the distaste and discomfort on Eisha's face.
"Weak?". She asked with a small sarcastic laugh having everyone's eyes on her, "Why do you think today kids are weak?".
"How would I know?. They are not working hard enough or maybe it's because of their addiction to wrong stuff". Amna said shrugging like she has no care
She raises her eyebrows at her ignorance," Or maybe because they are exposed to things that you never faced. Hmm, let's see for example- world economic crises, rapid population, no job opportunities, online bullying and that is far stretched to their own friends and teacher. Perhaps because of the world at war and the uncanny exposure to the media who feeds nothing but hate, fear and hopelessness. Maybe because of health problems, lack of paternal support, society pressure, ignorance, less consideration of their emotions and feelings. Continuous increase in crime rates and most of them targeted to the teenager. Rapes, drugs, harassment, bullying, abuse and whatnot in every single day of theirs and they are told to stay quiet or they are what?. Weak?".
"We had problems in our times". Amna said angrily
"I had problems in my time but that doesn't mean that I force what I faced on my children, it means that I understand them better, care for them and teach them how they can fight the world. Not throw them in it with forcing them to learn to run when they were barely crawling". She snarled
She heard a whimper and her eyes turn to look at Eisha who was trying to hold herself back from crying.
"What are you crying about?". Amna asked his daughter
"N-Nothing". Amna said biting her lips
She sighs opening her book starting to draw one of her pictures from her textbook.
"What are you doing?". She heard Eisha curiously soft voice as she sits beside her
"Drawing. But I must say I am very bad at it, so don't laugh". She said smiling
Eisha looks at her drawing trying to hold back her laughter but breaks into soft giggles.
"You are bad". Eisha commented, "I can do it".
"Really?. Show me". She said excitedly handing her the book
Eisha went to drawing at once with her full concentration.
"I have decided that she will be a doctor". Amna said looking at Eisha with pride
Eisha tensed beside her.
"What do you think Eisha want?". She said not wanting the 15 years old girl living a life she doesn't desire
"She doesn't know what's best for her". Amna argued
"And you expect her to live her entire life like that?. If she can't make a decision of what she wants to be in life how do you suggest she will take the bigger decision?". She snapped back
Silence.
She turns to look at Eisha who was done drawing looking at her grinning.
"Woah! This is so beautiful". She commented smiling patting her head, "You did great".
"What is this?". Eisha asked looking at her book
"These are various emotions and their reactions that human feels under certain circumstances". She explained briefly
"Is it fun?". Eisha asked curiously
"Depend on you". She said shrugging, "But I honestly think we need a psychiatrist in every household today because every other person needs it".
"My mother will not understand". Eisha said as her lips quiver
"But you do, don't you?". She whispers and Eisha nodded, "I think it's hard to change an aged person unless they want to. However, if you understand then you can change things around for your children so they live in a world you desired for".
Eisha smiles nodding.
"I don't think the weak generation is just because of what you said". Amna said taking her attention again
"You are right". She said nodding, "Quick question- when was the last time you sat down with your daughter to hear her concerns?. When did you last worry if she was doing all her religious duties and if she knows all the values of it correctly?. Does she knows her rights given to her?. What her Lord ask of her and how much power He had?. As much as I know you worry about her grade is higher than the entire colony when was the last time you simply praised her?".
Amna didn't speak.
"These children are yours and the only person they need to please is their parents- not the society that doesn't even care about their well being. Likewise, parents are supposed to care and protect their children from harm not force them into things". She said as her eyes hardened, "My father taught me this- I always used to run to him with my report card and all my family members after me to know if I scored less than their children to humiliate me. My father never once looked at my report card- he used to wrap me in his arms shielding me away from everyone and he would whisper to me 'are you happy with your result' and when I would say yes he would say 'then I am happy and proud of you'. He taught me that this competition is unhealthy and hence the reason for children deviating from everything in their lives putting their blood into grades because they think those grades define them and when they fail they feel they are a failure at life".
Eisha starts to cry and she shakes her head hugging her patting her back, "Maybe we should start listening more than ordering around".
The time went on and Amna was the only one speaking while Eisha was speaking to her.
"Are you married?". Amna asked
Her eyes immediately went to his eyes that narrow and darkened looking at her clearly telling her the answer to give but she won't listen to him.
"No". She said watching his anger rising again
"I have a son you should meet him. He is amazing...". Amna started
Eisha leans into her whispering, "You shouldn't marry my brother. He is lazy, useless and narrow-minded".
She chuckles whispers back, "I can't marry him anyway".
The day went on and Eisha went home after having a session with her which made her light-hearted. It is easy to be pressured by the world and the way the world looks right now- the fire burning everything in it, there is more need to know that still you need to fight it, giving up is an option that one shouldn't take because that's the way out of all it but the more one fight the ends will look beautiful one day.
She looks around to her room sighing sitting down on the bed with her textbook. She lay down placing her book in front of her as she starts reading forgetting everything.
She heard a throat clearing when she was almost done with her assignment making her frown. She looks ahead to find him standing there with a darkened expression.
"What?". She asked confused
"You know you cannot marry her amazing son". He said angrily
She shrugged nonchalantly smirking inwardly knowing he was fuming more because of her being so calm about it.
"I can marry anyone I want". She commented
"Heer". He said in a dark tone that made her shiver as she stilled not able to move or look at him, "You will not marry anyone else".
With that, he shut the door walking away as he exits her room he punched the wall angrily. He just couldn't understand why she needs to make everything so difficult and much more as to why was he so involved with her?.
The next day she did the same routine and his mother was answering this time but not actually speaking. The week went on until a day before Ibrahim's sister's wedding and she looks at her casual dresses which were all western and not a single one is traditional.
She sighs.
She heard the door opening and her eyes widen looking at the mess she made around her. There were clothes everywhere.
She heard a soft chuckle and her eyes further widen when she finds his mother looking at her with a beautiful smile and her eyes soften.
"Mera beta bhi yahi karta hai". His mother spoke shaking her head picking her clothes (my son always does this)
"Nahi nahi ap-". She started (no-no, you-)
"Beti jaisi ho tum meri yeh toh kar sakti huin". His mother said and she quickly helped her not wanting her to do all of it because of her health (you are like my daughter I can do this for you)
As she was done placing the last clothes back in the cupboard his mother spoke and her hands stopped in the air, "My son did something same 8 years ago. He left his bride on the altar without any explanation".
"Is that why?". She asked softly gaining her composure as she walks towards her
"Yes, he didn't care about his dying father last wish". His mother starts to cry harder and she holds her in her arms comforting her, "My husband never asked for anything else he just asked one thing from him and he did this. I hope he is happy now".
