after the heartbreaking news still in daze that the young soul did leave the world. Uzma was broken the most in them so she sent her back home, coming back to his house barely walking.
She opens the door when she heard shuffling around and soon she found his parents, him and Aliya with her husband standing in front of her.
She didn't pay mind to any one of them her eyes were puffing from all the crying she had done and now her body is a verge of falling down so she decided to take steps away from them but Huzaifa stopped her.
"Where have you been?". Huzaifa asked
She frowns looking at him thinking of his reasons of suddenly interested in her life and asking her question like he has some right over her which he doesn't, at all. He made that clear year ago and the words still haunt her. But she remembers.
"Mahira is no more". She said gulping her emotions down
"Mahira?". Huzaifa said confused for a second when he remembers, "Uzma's daughter?. That woman you and I saved that night?".
"Yes". She said meekly wanting to just leave
"Woah! I remember Uzma saying that her daughter was leaving so she has to leave with her". Huzaifa mumble but loud enough for her to hear
"What?. What do you mean and when?". She asked worriedly
"I don't remember I came back after work when she was speaking to someone. She said that her daughter will leave so she needed to leave her job-". Huzaifa started
She stumbles taking a step back as she remembers her saying similar words to her just now. That she will soon go to where her daughter was and she just thought it was all just her grief.
She immediately takes her phone out of her pocket dialling her number which she picked in seconds.
"Uzma, listen to me let me come and please please talk to me-". She started as she head to the door but stopped
She heard the loud crashing sound then the phone went off.
"U-Uzma?". She said feeling her head getting heavy and she fainted
She opens her eyes the next time in the hospital room hearing voices around her. She takes a moment when she remembers Uzma and she jerks awake looking around.
She finds his parents, him and Aliya and her husband looking at her. They must be the one who brought her to hospital. Omar takes steps towards her but she removed her duvet running out of the door along with everyone following her to find Saqib standing there.
"Saqib". She said running towards him
Saqib had the pain-stricken face which confirms the news that indeed Uzma had taken her life as she intended.
"Amina, we have an emergency patient-". Saqib started when the stretcher with the patient came in
She frowns when the stretcher stops in front of her and a gasp escape her lips as she holds his lifeless hand.
"A-Arshad". She said shaking him
"Take him away". Saqib ordered and the nurses took him to the operation room, "Amina you are operating on him".
She shakes her head looking at her blood filled hand, "I-I-".
"Amina". Saqib said a little louder and strict, "I have a surgery, Hira is not here and his father (Amir) cannot operate on him. If you don't then he dies. Will, you be able to do it?".
She raises her head as tears brimmed in them nodding she immediately ran inside the operation room. Struggling with her feelings and doing the operation she walks out about five hours later.

Just as she exits a body collided into her.
"Is he ok?". She heard Moneerah asked weeping in her hold
She remains motionless then slowly wrapping her hands around her. She pulls back making her sit on the bench to find Arshad's mother looking at her anxiously.
"You shouldn't be stressing in this condition. Did you eat something?". She asked smiling lightly brushing her hair away
She shakes her head crying, "Is he ok?. Please tell me".
She gulped her tears, "He is perfectly ok. But he will be mad at you for not taking care or yourself. How about both of you go to Sir room and order some food?".
After assuring them they walk away from there and immediately Saqib holds her shoulder shaking her.
"What happened?". Saqib asked worriedly
She looks at her hands then the tears falls down her cheeks as she looks in his eyes this time, "H-He can't be a surgeon. He had hurt one of his main nerve in the accident and I had to treat it. It will cause him to heal but not completely. He won't be able to move his hand like before anymore".
Saqib eyes widen as he leaves her only for her to fall on the ground and sob.
"He can't be a surgeon anymore, Saqib. What are we going to do?. How can this happen?. How will he live?". She cried harder
"What do you mean?". She heard Amir's Sir voice
She turns to look at his broken eyes obviously he heard every single word but wanted her to repeat for confirmation. He walks towards her bending down to her left looking at her pleading to say he heard wrong which made her cry even harder.
"Tell me my son is ok". He begged tears forming in his eyes
She shakes her head trying hard to control herself but remember each time he said he wanted to be a surgeon since he was young.
"I am sorry. I am so sorry. I tried but his nerves were injured badly and in order to save him I h-had to do it". She said cursing herself
He stumbles back sitting on the floor holding his head in his hands.
"He wanted to be like us. He said you and I were his idols and he would die to be like us. How?. Why?". He asked
"Baba". She heard Moneerah speaks
They clear their eyes from the tears turning to look at her.
"Jee Beta". Amir said
"Come. We will eat together". She said softly unaware of the chaos
He nodded looking at Amina one last time before walking away. She took a deep breath standing on her feet to find them (his parent, sister, him and Huzaifa) looking at her while other looks at her ignorant not really caring the only that held something were of Omar.
"A-Amina?". Hira said running inside enveloping her in a tight hug, "I heard everything. I-I am sorry I came late".
She knows Hira was barely holding herself like everyone. By now everyone should know about the surgery because of her nurses leaving and everyone spreading the words.
She pushes back from Hira comforting hug finding even her family entering inside now. She remembers that she had to see Uzma and prepare for the commentary too. Her heart clench feeling her body swaying with the amount of burden she feels on herself.
All the pain.
It started with Omar, that innocent child leaving and his mother following with her best mate that she considers her younger brother that she had adored so much now lost his precious dream because of her. How is that she was the centre of everything bad now?.

She pushes Hira away taking steps towards the morgue where the two bodies lay without any family for their owns. She remembers the first time she has saved them and today they left the world.
She feels someone holding her elbow turning her around and she came face to face to the man she hates.
Uzma's husband.
Or is he not?.
She glares at him snatching her hand away when she speaks, "Where are my child and wife?".
That enraged her as she slapped him hard on his face and before he can take a step towards her Saqib pushes her back standing in front of her.
"What wife and child are you talking about?". She screamed angrily as Hira held her back, "You killed them. They are dead now because of you".
All of her family members gasp looking at this side of hers. She cried harder trying to break away from Hira hands as she feels her body now giving up and it did as she fainted yet again.
This time she opens her eyes the next day not even moving faster or anywhere hearing her grandfather voice calling her probably her family got the news of her fainting. She turns towards his voice watching him blankly. She sits on the bed to find the same people who once rejected her standing there.
"Appi yeh kia hai, huh ?". She heard Arshad voice making her still (sister, what is this)
Her eyes widen as she looks at him, "A-Arshad".
"Yes, it's me. Why do you look like you saw some ghost?". Arshad asked chuckling
She shakes her head.
"Come on. You are my doctor and here you are being a patient yourself". He said grinning scratching his shoulder, "Are you sure you did a good job?. Just joking, I know you did. Just my shoulders feel itchy. Will you look at it?. I don't want anything to happen to my hand you know how they say surgeon's hands are like gold I can't hurt it".
Tears brimmed her eyes as she looks at him looking down at her hands.
"I am sorry. I am sorry. Don't be sad. I will not disturb you. Just rest". Arshad said smiling widely at her
"Arshad". She heard Saqib voice from behind them, "I told you not to be here. She cannot stress and you know she will watch you. Come on, let's go".
"Don't worry, Appi I am perfectly fine obviously you did my surgery. I trust you". Arshad said making her even worse
"Ok. We are leaving". Saqib declared
"Saqib". She said once Arshad was out of the room and he turns to her, "Hand me the tablet".
The tablet that held the department reports of the patient.
"Amina-". Saqib said hesitated
"Hand it to me". She said stern
He hands it to her and she finds Hira walking in as he left. She pushes her hair back looking through the reports to find his. Once she saw the reports declares that he had no hopes. His shoulder took the most effects from the accident damaging his muscles that his hand wouldn't heal from it. He will not be a surgeon because his nerve were damaged and he won't be free to move his hand like a surgeon needed to.
"Amina". Hira said placing a hand over his shoulder
She slumped down on the bed holding her head when the door opens again.
"Amina Appi (sister) you will tell me about my reports right?. Is this it?". She heard Arshad coming towards her
She loosens her grip on the tablet as it fell on the floor making Arshad gasp.
"Oh no. Baba will be angry. I will tell him I did it you don't tell him, ok?". Arshad said hurriedly
She didn't speak watching the joyful boy still not known to reality.
"Arshad". She heard Amir sir speaks as he enters inside the room, "Go to my office I will send her there to explain the reports".
"Ok". Arshad said excitedly running away
"I-I can't". She said shaking her head
"Wear your coat and act as a doctor should. Doctors don't involve emotions in work. If you don't tell him the truth then leave this job immediately". He said stern, "Hand her coat".
Hira moves forward hesitating but hands her the coat she wore and he gives her the files.
"Now". He said
She nodded looking at Hira, "U-Uzma?".
"Her husband took her". Hira said sadly
She nodded meekly walking outside of the room towards the cabin.
Amir stumble holding the wall as tears fall down his face thinking about his heartbroken son. Hira holds his hand for support taking him outside as they step outside they find Arshad and Amina rushing towards him.
Amina holds her hand watching his broken eyes," Arshad please-".
Arshad removes her hand, "Let me go".
She takes a step forward feeling her own heartbreaks but he shakes his head taking steps out of the hospital. She looks down as tears fall down her cheeks.
She had broken him.
Why?. Why was this happening to her?.
"Is the princess crying?". She heard Ali mocking voice, "Why daddy didn't bring you thing?".
Saqib pushes him away from her standing in fronts of her like a shield and Hira hold her hand dragging her away.
"Amina Appi". They heard Moneerah calling from behind
She looks at Hira wide eyes quickly clearing her eyes turning to her. She holds her watching her running.
"Moneerah running is not good for the baby". She said strictly
"Sorry sorry. I saw Arshad leaving and he didn't even stop to talk to me. Is he ok?". Moneerah asked worriedly
She gulped nodding with a tight smile, "Of course. He is perfectly fine. Just some fresh air. Maybe he didn't saw you. You go home with Amir Sir and I will bring him back, ok?".
Moneerah nodded and she signals Amir to take her away from her. Arshad hand was the most injured so it doesn't require him to stay in more. Just a few checkups.
She turns to Hira, "I need your extra clothes, please".
She changes walking out to find her namesake family standing waiting for her. She turns to her grandfather moving towards him.
"I will talk to you when I come home". She said shortly without any emotions
"Which home?". Dada asked concerned trying to hold her hand but she steps back
"My home where I was born". She replied walking away
She walks away from the hospital knowing where exactly Arshad must be. He used to come here whenever he was stressed. She walks the same path and found him standing alone.
"Feel like running away?". She asked softly standing beside him
"I do". He said honestly
"I want to too. How about we run away together?. But before that, you have to stay with Moneerah until the baby is here". She said smiling lightly
"Obviously I am not leaving her in this condition I promised her. I can't be that selfish". He said immediately smiling at the thought of his baby
"Good! Come on I have to be somewhere so I will leave you home and go". She said walking back to the car with him
She enters inside the house which she didn't even want to call hers. She hasn't been here for almost a year as she walks in she finds everyone sitting there.
All of her family, father, Dada, cousins, aunt, uncle, her so-called husband and his family.
Everyone.
Everyone who rejected, humiliated and left her all alone.
She turns her eyes towards her grandfather who looks so weak in just a year like something had eaten him from inside.
"I want to talk to you". She said stern not wanting anyone to see the way her inside is breaking
Being in this home now doesn't bring her any smile, comfort and peace. It starts to suffocate her. She looks at everyone looking at her and her eyes turn to the one person who had actually managed to bring her to the edge.
Omar.
His eyes held emotions she doesn't want to acknowledge anymore. Maybe once she did and she really did wanted it now she wasn't sure anymore.
She felt every single wall of her breaking down.
Her grandfather nodded as they walk out to the garden away from everyone reach.
"Was it a sin to like someone?". She asked looking at the sky
Her grandfather breaks down like she has heard him crying over some calls she attended of his. She didn't look at her not wanting to break with him.
"It wasn't a sin. It wasn't your fault". He cried harder, "Please forgive me".
"I am leaving". She said biting her lips as her heart thunders in her chest in agony, "Please don't tell anyone and I might call you sometime. But please do not search for me".
With that, she walked away for good.
