clothes makes you high and mighty?". She asked angrily
"It does". He replied nonchalantly
"Well, it shouldn't". She argued, "Those clothes won't stay on you for too long then why the pride?".
"Why? Will, you take them off?". He asked smirking
She made a disgusted face, "I would rather skin you alive".
"I-". He started
Someone pulls her hand dragging her away and she knows it's none other than her boss.
"Camilla". She said smiling
"Hajar, how many times do I have to say it?". Camilla said sighing, "Just go in, do the dishes I will see here".
Hajar smiles at her walking inside not before glaring at the man.
How dare he?.
She walks inside looking at the mess of the kitchen. Camilla is not the most organized person. She knows. She started with bringing all the things that need cleaning to one counter and one by one she divide the tasks.
"You know with that amazing brain of yours you can be in space by now". Camilla said leaning against the wall, "Why don't you think again, honey?".
Camilla is an older woman who is in her late 50's trying not to end in an old age home working her way through.
"Because the things that come with it are not worth it". She replied smiling at the sight of a clean place
"However, if you reach somewhere high no one can reach you without your permission". Camilla chipped in
"But the people who are there in high are even worse". She said softly walking to her hugging her, "Chill babe, I am not in need for a degree to prove my brain".
"Well, unfortunately the world needs to see that paper to recognise you and your exceptional brain". Camilla said as they walk back to the cafe
She looks at the table planning her cleaning that is something she is good at. She holds the items she needs to clean walking around the now empty cafe. She cannot believe the silence around her when the place was buzzing just a while ago.
"I want to get that paper too, Camilla. It's just not for me at the moment". She said sighing
Camilla nodded sadly.
She ended her work in an hour sitting with a coffee in her hand watching the people walking around from the window.
"What are you thinking?". Camilla asked
"Remember the files I hand you?". She asked and Camilla nodded, "Please make sure they are safe with you".
"I will take care of them". Camilla said smiling warmly
She nodded.
*****
"Find out every single thing about that woman. How dare she?". Momim said loosening his tie in anger
"Yes, Sir". His guard- Mahmood said nodding walking away
He banged his hand on the table almost breaking it in his anger. He cannot believe she stood in front of him just because he broke the line to place his order.
Of course, he could do that.
He is no ordinary man he is the multimillionaire who owns more than those cafes and his time is money. He decided to get a coffee for himself today and that was what he was gifted with.
A hot temper and dumb woman.
He brushes his hair away in frustration putting himself in a robotic mood to get through these meetings. After spending all his day being angry from time to time when he remembered her face and yelling then managing his office.
"Do you have it yet?". He asked angrily to Mahmood
Mahmood nodded handing him the file as he starts to speak, "Her name is Hajar Yaqoob and she is 25 years old. She lives only with her mother in a poor state and barely makes it through a day. Also, she lived her whole life in her-".

"I don't care. What about her education?". He asked
"She is a high schooler but she-". Mahmood started
"So she is actually a dumb woman. I cannot believe she did that". He said banging the file on the table, "I am not going to leave her. No one misbehaves with me and goes on with it".
"Sir-". Mahmood started
"I am leaving. But we are going to her tomorrow morning". He said walking away
He reaches his house walking inside with large stride.
"What made you so angry today?". He heard his sister sweet voice
He turns around looking at his smiling sister.
"Hanifa, how are you?". He asked
She walks near him hugging him, "I am good. What happened to you?".
"Nothing". He grumbled moving away and walking towards the couch
"No, tell me". She insisted
"I am not speaking. Where is Ammi?". He asked
"She is in her garden". She replied, "And before you ask my husband (Ayub) is in his office".
"I am home and he isn't". He said teasing
"Shut up". She said stern, "He has an important meeting tomorrow so he needs to stay".
He chuckles ruffle her hair, "Fine. I won't say anything about your husband".
"Better not". She said then lean in closer to him, "Ammi is thinking about marrying you".
"What?". He said
"Yes, she was talking to me earlier saying she wants you to settle down". She explained
"Does she have anyone?". He asked
She shakes her head, "No. Do you?".
"No". He replied plainly
"You are so boring. No wonder you have no one". She said rolling her eyes
"I am sure woman out there disagree". He said proudly
"The woman that disagree to that statement are all in for the fame and money however when I find the one who is willing to agree with that statement is who I am marrying you to". She said determinedly
"I hope you don't find one then". He said shuddering at the thought
******
He looks at the broken house sighing for the millionth time. His big shining car stood far from the here because his car cannot enter inside. Now, in all his glory he stood here with one thought in mind.
She is going down.
With that, he rings the bell waiting until he heard the sound of the door opening and an older petite woman looking at him.
"Can I help you?". She said softly
"Yes, I am here to meet Ms Hajar". He replied kindly
It's not like the woman did anything wrong.
"Why?". She asked
"Well, your daughter has exceptional talent and I have seen her on my visits to the cafe and believed she is suitable for a job in my company. If it's ok with you I wanted to see if she wanted to do this job since I can't find her number to contact?". He lied
She narrows her eyes but allows him to come in.
"Hajar, someone is here for you". Her mother yelled
He looks around the house and there wasn't much to see anyway. All the pictures in the house were of the mother and daughter and one consisted of a smaller child.
He heard the sound of footsteps and his head turn to the woman he had come down to meet. She looks at him frowning for a few minutes.
"Who are you?". She asked suspiciously
"I wanted to speak to you about something". He said smiling tightly
She looks at her mother smiling not wanting her to stress as she signals him to walk outside with her.

"What?". She asked when they were away from her mother prying eyes
"You don't remember me?". He asked a bit taken back
All he knows is he is someone no one can forget.
"No. I don't remember you". She said confused
"I am the person you insulted in your cafe yesterday". He said through clench teeth
She frowns thinking about it until she remembers him again making her narrow her eyes at him.
"Oh yes. The rude guy". She said angrily, "Why in the world are you in my house?".
"Well, I am here for the payment". He said smirking
"What payment?". She asked
"Payment for insulting me. I don't like people looking down at me and you did exactly that". He said angrily
"Really?. I wouldn't have guessed". She replied sarcastically, "I didn't like the way you broke the line too do you see me complaining?".
"I don't care". He said dismissing, "I am here for my insult".
"That's your problem. Not mine". She said trying to walk away
He blocks her path, "No, you cannot leave until I am done".
She raises her eyebrows, "Watch me".
She turns again taking two steps in victory when he blocked her again and she groans.
"Look, I insulted you because you were wrong if you can't deal with it then it's not my problem". She said huffing
"I can deal with it just in my way". He said smirking
She rolls her eyes, "Let's hear it".
"Well, for starters I know that you are barely living through your day and I want you to come work under me". He said
"And you are being this generous because I insulted you?". She asked
"No, I want you to work under me so I can make your life living hell for the payment". He explained
She laughs, "That was some good offer which I refuse to take. Now be on your way".
She takes a step but stops when she heard his next words, "If you don't agree to me right now I will have my men close down Camilla's cafe and this house will be sealed".
"That's illegal". She said raged
"Law doesn't work on me". He said smirking
******
"So, you accepted his offer?". Her mother said after he left saying she joins tomorrow
"Yes". She replied trying to calm herself
"I knew someone will one day recognise your intelligence. I am so happy, beta". Her mother gushed
She taps her feet thinking about tomorrow. All she knows is she is going to make his life difficult no matter what. There is no backing down in front of him.
It's war.
*******
The next day she enters inside the big building with a mission. A mission to get fired as soon as possible.
"And here I thought you would give up". She heard his annoying sound as she was waiting for the staff elevator
Apparently, he has his own elevator.
"Surprise". She said not interested watching as the employee looks at her curiously
Great. Now she will have people coming to her to know how she was selected.
"You should have left your sarcasm out on the door of the building". He said annoyed
"You should have left your attitude too". She said entering the elevator, "See you in the office".
He clench his hand when he heard Mahmood chuckling beside him and he glares at him shutting him.
"I was going to warn you but you choose to not listen to me". Mahmood said walking into his elevator with him
"I am not going to listen". He said firm
"Ok, Sir". Mahmood said shortly
The door opened at his floor and he walks down hearing her voice making his mood sour more.
He enters the office to find her old age assistant Melissa standing with her.
"Can you teach this dumb woman something?". He said startling them
"Son, is that a way to talk to a woman?". Melissa said accusing
"Teach him some manner before that I am sure he would need a lot more time than me trying to learn this stuff". Hajar said irritated
Melissa looks at her admiring her courage and looks at Mahmood who nodded at her making her even more excited.
"You-". Momim started
"You have a meeting". Melissa cut in
Momim glare at her one more time before walking inside angrily.
"It's so nice to meet you". Melissa said pulling Hajar into a tight hug
"Ummm.... thank you". Hajar said shyly
"Let's learn all this quickly so he leave us alone". Melissa said smiling
"Yes, please". Hajar said sighing as she starts to learn
******
"You shouldn't have underestimated her". Melissa said entering his room
He looks from his files to her, "Why is that?".
"She is a very intelligent woman, Momim. You wouldn't believe how fast she grasped things". Melissa explained, "What exactly happened?".
"I am not speaking you will shout at me". He said
"Fine. It means you did something wrong to that girl. Be good to her she is a gem you don't want to lose". Melissa said, "I will leave in a week".
"I think you said a month". He said confused
"As I said, she doesn't need to learn in a month she can do it in a week". She replied walking away
He groaned.
He walks towards his window looking down but his mind seems to not actually be thinking.
*****
Melissa is gone.
She retired from her job and now it's on Hajar to do everything on her own. She already made friend with Melissa who said she is going to stay in contact with her after work too.
The rest of the employees she hasn't had a chance of making sure to learn all the hours in this office.
"You know I am paying you to do your job". He said leaning on her desk
"You are paying me to take your revenge which made me think I should be paid double or triple of what I am getting for bearing someone like you". She said satisfied when she sees how red he gets
"You should know that the more you-". He started
"Insult me the more I will make you pay". She said mimicking him
He made a face, "I do not sound like that".
"You do to me". She said shrugging
"No-". He started
"You have a client waiting for you". She said cutting him off
He glares at her while she ignores him.
"It's the Jonas brother?". He asked and she nodded, "Then you are joining me".
She shrugged.
She enters inside the meeting room and immediately she feels the male eyes turning to her eyeing her up and down.
She shudders.
Her steps become slower and slower as she tries to hide behind him. But he moves to sit in his seat in the middle while she has to sit on his side in front of those two male prying eyes.
The meetings start but she can feel the environment getting thicker and her every nerve now rising. The more they look the more her heartbeat increases. Her skin seems to be on fire and she tries to remain calm to not end this meeting when he asked her to leave the room.
She did immediately.
She walks slowly until she was at the door and once outside she ran into the restroom. Mahmood watches her running and her face seems to be getting red.
He frowns.
He wonders what happens until he found it was the Jonas brother who is the one woman should stay away from.
Momim regretted it.
He shouldn't have asked her to be in her. No matter how angry he was at her for the whole week he shouldn't have asked her to be in front of these men.
No woman should be disrespected like that.
He wishes he can undo it but he can't no matter how much he wants so he threatened those moron cancelling their projects immediately.
She looks at herself in the mirror knowing she is losing herself slowly. She enters one of the cabins sitting down as she tries to regulate her breathing again. Approximately 30 minutes later she was back on track with the help of the technique she learned online.
She walks outside after she knows she will not kill him but finds him leaning on the floor.
"I am sorry I shouldn't have done that". He said guiltily
She waited for him to laugh when he didn't she just nodded.
"That was cheap even for you". She said
"I know. I am sorry I won't do anything like that again". He said softly
"There shouldn't be an again or I will kill you faster than I thought". She threatened
He nodded raising his hand in surrender, "Deal".
"Good". She said walking away
She sits on her seat twirling around thinking of the ways she can finally kill him.
"I am here to meet Momim". She heard someone say
She looks at her a little embarrassed that the young woman sees her twirling on her seat.
"I am sorry. You have an appointment?". She asked softly because the woman looks sweet
"No, but I am just here to meet him". She replied softly
"Oh, I would have allowed you in if it wasn't that the dragon spits fire". Hajar said irritated
She watches the surprise on the woman face as she leans in closer," He is annoying, isn't he?".
"Very". Hajar said, "Did you have an encounter with his mood swings?. I swear he has worse than I ever had".
The woman chuckled, "I have had enough of my share of experiences. Trust me he is the most boring and stupid person I have seen".
Hajar eyes lightened up when she finally finds someone who seems to have the same view as her.
"Yes, yes a thousand times. I agree with you". Hajar said excitedly
"Sister". She heard Momim stern voice making her face pale
Oh, no.
