"Yes, I came back for you". Noman said taking a step near her

She pushes him away as her anger grew, "You didn't know I loved you if she didn't find it even when she was dying you couldn't possibly know a thing. You are just a coward who is trying to blame anything that is possible".

"I am here for you". Noman said, "You have no idea how I felt back then. I was scared and I had no money to do anything".

"So?. You choose to run away leaving her with two infants to feed". She shouted angrily, "You think because you were scared you can just run away from everything?. You know what?. I don't care. I know the more I speak to you the more Amir will be in pain. This is the last time I am saying this don't make me break my promises because when it comes to the people I love I will break all the promises".

"Why is he here?". Amir said sadly

She hugs him, "No reason. Just for something that is not for him".

"You?". Amir said

She looks at his shock, "How do you know?".

"I heard him". Amir said crying, "He did so much how can he?. But don't worry I know Waali will keep you safe from him".

She looks at Waali who is standing at a distance from them. Before she can say anything Amir runs towards Waali.

"I want you to promise something". Amir said as tears still remain on his face

"What is it, beta (son)?". Waali asked worriedly

"You will keep her safe no matter what. I don't want anyone taking her away from me too. Please". Amir said crying

She hugs Amir tightly, "Amir-".

"I promise". Waali said cutting her off

She looks at him frowning, "Don't do this".

"I promise I will do it". Waali said firm

She walks inside her house with her eyes heavy from the long day.

"What do you think you are?". His sister said

She didn't say anything walking towards her room only to receive another slap. She closes her eyes not wanting to do anything instead he stands in front of her receiving the second slap.

She looks at him for a moment before she moves back to walking back to the room. She sits on the couch holding her head. She had been feeling nauseous and headache more often these days.

She closes her eyes resting it on the side of the couch when she heard the door opening and closing. She didn't move a muscle because even if she wants to she is too tired to do so. She feels him standing in front of her making her heart beat faster.

He looks at the frown on her head and he knows she is in pain. Her facial expression always changes and even her face colour goes away. He didn't like to see her like that. He used to not say anything when his sister lashed out on her now watching her being slapped hurts him more.

He places his hand on her cheek where the red mark stays. She opens her eyes looking at his eyes who are already looking at her. She can feel and see all of his emotions making her feel them. She didn't want to feel not when he didn't even try to speak about that night once.

She didn't want him to either, the hurt would be too much for her heart. She knows how much she can take and she is sure she cannot take that hurt. She pushes his hand away even when she wants to hold it and cry her heart out.

"Don't touch me". She said angrily turning around

"Sleep with me". He said

She turns to look at him more angry, "What did you just say?".

"Sleep beside me. I don't want you sleeping here anymore". He said

She chuckles dryly sitting on the couch, "And what changed?".

"Please, Almaas. Just come". He pleaded

"No, I don't want your pity. You shouldn't be saying or doing things you are doing right now. You should be pushing me around blaming me of sleeping with other men". She shouted angrily

"I never said you sleep with them". He argued, "I never meant it".

"Really?. Because you clearly said more than that. I am after money, men and more. Don't you remember who I am or do I have to remind you again?". She said as tears brim her eyes again

She blinks her eyes rapidly not to cry when he wrapped his hands around her waist carrying her to the bed even after she resists. Once they lay down he tightly secures her to him not allowing her to resist any movement.

"Just this once". He said softly making her stop

The next few days went by quietly. She didn't speak to him and ignore him. While her health keeps playing with her making her crave things and leave things at the same time.

She walks downstairs towards the door just as she opens the door she found Noman standing there.

"What?". She said angrily

"You need to listen to what I have to say". He said

"I don't care. Leave". She said moving away

He steps closer to her only inches away from her. Waali stands with the others watching them interact but just as she steps too close to her he fists his hand.

"I will make you mine". Noman promised

Before she can react someone kicks Noman away from her making him fall on the ground.

"Is it your life or the house that brings all the cheap men to you?". Safa asked

"Y-You-". Noman said scared

"Get lost". Safa said angrily

Almaas rolls her eyes as she sees him running away taking the files from Safa.

"It's my life". She answered

"God! If I were a guy I would marry you just to keep you safe from these men". Safa said irritated

Almaas leans on the wall looking through the notes when she sees Muzamil coming in with a huge grin.

"I will never marry you". Almaas said

"Why?. I am everything a girl would want. I am intelligent, incredible and an amazing partner with all the benefits".

"Number one reason why I will never marry you. Self-obsessed". Almaas said hiding her smile

She looks through her iPad to find the files she needs.

"At least I can keep you happy". Safa said she turns serious, "What did he want?".

"Me". She replied

"You know the more you keep your promise the more he will take advantage of it?". Safa asked, "I liked the old you who used to put people in their places. What is the plan?".

Waali frowns at her words looking back at Almaas expressionless face.

"I am thinking about it. It's-". She started

"Isn't it better to end it all?. There will be no reason to think too much or worry that he will come back again". Safa said

"You love doing that, Safa. You can break the people to not have them stand again. I can't". She said

"It's is far better for people like him to never stand again. What's the use of avoiding?. He is back again". Safa said angrily, "Did he meet Amir?".

"He appeared in his performance and then he went to the orphanage". She said sighing

"What?. Did Amir meet him?". Safa said roaming around to calm herself

"No, he hid in the room". She said angrily

"What is it?". Safa asked

"I didn't know. That day I had the president meeting again so the guardian didn't inform me. She said Amir told her how important it was. So, I had no idea and he stayed locked the whole day until I came to speak to him". She said as her anger rises

"What did avoiding actually bring?. He will hurt Amir and you know he is not emotionally strong". Safa said

"I know. That is why there is no more avoiding". She said as her eyes went to coldness

"Almaas-". Safa started

"I sent you the files. Make him rest in peace". Almaas said

Safa smirks nodding.

Once Safa leaves Almaas looks at her hands because she remembers she promised her Aliya that she will never go after him or allow her anger to control her. But the more she waits the harder it gets. She knows Safa is a politician daughter so she can threaten him with those files to keep him far away. That is all that meant by him resting in peace. He will never be coming back again because he would be scared of his illegal secrets coming out.

"She lost her child". She heard Muzamil say

Her eyes widen listening to the words. She knows his sister baby meant so much to her and she cannot believe something like this happens.

She knows it's no use if she goes to visit her because she is not stable enough. She prays by her heart she finds some peace at least.

With that thought, she waited for her husband but he never came.

The next day her phone rings as she walks the mall parking where she came to pick a present for Amir. She walks when she picks the call but some bright lights and people shouting stops her.

She looks in front of her a mob of people some holding camera while others have things in their hands. She cannot make sense until someone throws something at her but before it can reach her someone stands in front of her hugging her tightly.

She closes her eyes tightly scared from the shouting of the people and the things they are throwing.

"I am here, it's ok". She heard her husband say

"You are safe now". Waali said holding her shaking hands

"What was that all about?. Who are they?". She asked confused

"They-". He started when her phone rings again

She looks at him waiting but then answers Safa call.

"You are accused of her miscarriage. There are pictures of you and Gulzar in media and they said that you had an affair with him which caused this. It's not safe outside, please say in". Safa explained

The call ends but her whole existence shakes. She has no idea what pictures or why is she blamed for. She stumbles when dizziness comes in front of her eyes but he holds her.

She regains her consciousness looking at him, "What does this mean?".

"Almaas-". He started

"You don't know?". His sister yelled angrily

She turns around looking at her, "What?".

"You are really good at acting. You had an affair with my husband behind my back all this time. You tried to seduce him and take his money". His sister said

She looks at her weirdly, "I have affair with him?. Who said that?".

"I know everything. I saw those pictures of you". His sister shouted, "That is the reason my brother married you".

Her heart stops.

"What?". She said barely in a whisper as she looks between Waali and his sister

His sister smirks, "You don't know, do you?".

"Appi (sister)-". He said but was cut off

"No, she has to hear it all. I told him about you and your affair. He married you because he wanted to keep you in front of his eyes so you don't destroy my house". His sister explained

Her heartbreaks.

She looks at him accusingly, "Is this true?".

She wishes it isn't but it didn't take long for a confirmation. As his silence said many words.

Tears fall down her face as she tries to compose herself. Waali takes a step only for her to take several steps back.

"I had an affair right?". She said laughing menacingly, "I will show you then".

She walks outside to the corner where she knows Gulzar is. She sees him while coming back from her walk. She wondered why he wasn't with his wife but he doesn't care about anyone.

"Gulzar". She said angrily knowing that the siblings hid, "I will tell them the truth".

"What truth, beautiful?". Gulzar said smirking

"The truth that you have been after me for years. That you were after various girls and what you did to me". She shouted

"You think they will believe you?. I have my charms on them they will never believe you. True, I have been after you for years and it was all me but who will believe you?. Even the world is accusing you of a murderer". Gulzar said laughing, "No one will ever believe you".

Before she can say anything a punch lands on Gulzar face one after another.

"You were right. No one will ever believe me". She said loudly making Waali stopped

Waali looks at her broken eyes standing up handing him to his guards. Before he can stop her she runs away sitting in her car driving away.

"I will follow her". Muzamil said

He allows him to do that but he cannot sit still so he goes after her too.

She drives fast until she has to stop at the traffic light. Her heart breaks into pieces as she cries in the car alone until she heard a loud sound making her look in front.

The front mirror of her car is broken.

She looks around to find people trying to open her car door while others damage the doors hurting her in process.

"I didn't do anything, please, leave me alone". She cried harder by the second

Waali jumps out of his car running towards her car pushing the people away. He covers her side of the door with his body receiving the hit by the mad crowd.

"Please". She cried before passing out

"You are going to have a baby". The doctor said

She held her head when she heard the news from the doctor.

"Because of the accident and the stress, there are complications". Doctor further explained

She nodded.

She heard the door opening and in walk her boss.

He stands in front of her as the doctor leave. There were only Waali, his sister, Muzamil, Safa and her guardian here.

"I am sorry, Almaas". He said forwarding the papers

She frowns looking at the papers as her boss walks away. Safa snatches those papers out of her hands as she read them instead.

"You are fired". Safa said not believing it

"What?. No, no, wait". She said removing her blanket as everyone tries to stop her she runs outside towards the elevator pressing the button

She waits impatiently as the door opens and she walks forward only for the bright lights blinding her momentarily.

Waali runs behind her taking the stairs as the elevator isn't coming. He exits on the ground floor looking around to find her. He sees the security trying to hold back the cameraman from her. He sees how she looks scared looking at them that made him angry.

He runs towards her hugging her to himself hiding her away from them.

She comes back at her hospital bed looking at the paper her boss gave her.

She looks at the last page chuckling shaking her head as her anger grew.

"What is it?". Safa asked softly

"He took everything". She said clenching the paper in her hands, "He took away the president designs I worked so hard on, Safa".

Safa eyes widen as she looks down at the paper reading them.

"I will kill him". Safa said walking outside with the paper

She holds her head trying not to break but everything is falling apart. She feels someone hugging her.

"I am not Asad but he used to say when you are angry if someone hugs you then you always calm down". Amir said softly, "It will be ok, Khala (aunt)".

She hugs him tightly inhaling his scent as tears fall down her face, "I am scared".

"She is nowhere?. Where is she, Safa?". He said pleading at the verge of crying

"Why should I tell you?. Didn't you do enough?". Safa said angrily

"Please, Safa. I need her, please". He said

"She is gone". Safa said
